dulu pernah ada di akhir taun 70-an / awal 80-an, sedan kecil holden gemini diesel.... kalo gak salah mesinnya Izuzu.... mbahnya Panther kali....

sebenernya di Eropa, sudah ada beberapa compact diesel cars...
Pug 307 pun disana ada opsi HDi .... spt enginenya Pug 806 tapi lbh kecil.
entah, sempet masuk Ina nggak ya 307 HDi ?
tapi, mengingat HDi nya Pug itu mintanya solar bagus.... nggak mungkin deh bs bertahan di Ina pada masa2 skrg ini.
entah di masa depan.

btw,
ada thread mana ya...mgkin threadnya bro Turboman, yg menginfokan diesel udah nembus "angka keramat": 1000 cc
meskipun, harap diingat itu tadi, bahwa diesel engine, makin ke depan akan memerlukan diesel fuel yg bagus.

Betul, di Eropa mesin diesel kecil sudah cukup populer, namun di Asia belum.
Mungkin karena kualitas solar di sini masih jelek.
Innova aja yang 2500 cc diesel sempat bermasalah gara-gara kualitas solar

Di Asia diesel populernya buat mobil komersial....termasuk taxi... contoh: Toyota Crown Comfort dan Nissan Cedric..

Di Eropa, penjualan diesel lebih banyak dari bensin, tapi buat mobil kompak sekelas Jazz, masi sebanding, ini karena mesin bensin pun sudah cukup efisien, lain hal di mesin 3000cc

Di Eropa mobil Diesel terkecil Smart 800 cc TurboDiesel.

Cuman rasanya kalo utk mobil kecil ane sih masih lebih pilih gasoline aja, yg keren kayak Kei Car dgn mesin 660 / 700 cc Turbocharged & ada yg GDI pulak. :mrgreen:

Mobil kecil dgn konstruksi monocoque - light weight akan lebih sensitive thd getaran mesin, lagian dgn mesin gasoline yg kecil & canggih aja FC nya juga udah irit / irit bgt. CMIIW

kalo mobil2 dgn GVW 1,4 Ton ke atas nah Diesel oke, apalagi kalo 1,7 Ton ke atas & di atas 5 seater maka TurboDiesel is highly recommended.

Setujhuuu dengan bapak Turboman.... kalo ngejar irit, compact car masi sebelas dua belas... lha wong, di Eropa aja kadang varian diesel justru ga direcommend kalo bensinnya uda oke

--kalau di eropa udah banyak banget kok yang diesel.. bisa jadi prosentase diesel imbang dengan bensin.. bulan2 lalu temenku beli second BMW serie 3 diesel.. hampir gak kerasa getaranya.. juauuuuuuuhhh lebih nyaman dibandingin getaran mobil diesel di kita (Phanter/kjang diesel/uda diesel). Mercy2 di jerman jg banyak yang diesel.. apalagi yang untuk taksinya. yang pernah aku rasain nebeng, naik renault yang baru (Serie ga tahu) sama VW passat diesel.. gemelitik diesel sangat minim di kabin. cuma pas lari di toll sekitar 130-140 KMH baru kerasa gak nyamanya.. di telinga berdengung dengung.
Kalau ada vios,city,baleno yang diesel & halus.. mungkin laku tuh di kita.. apalagi harga BBM di kita spt ini..

Sebenernya Peugeot 307 HDi (solar) sempat masuk ke tanah air cuma kurang begitu laku. Peugeot 806 HDi juga masuk sebagai MPV solar yang irit. Mercedes-Benz juga sempat memasarkan C270CDi (kalau tidak salah kodenya), itu juga bermesin diesel common-rail.

Mobil diesel sudah pasti lebih irit, yang jadi kendala yaitu mesin diesel terbaru butuh solar yg bagus sekali (seperti Solar DEX), tapi SPBU yang menyediakan terbatas sekali... Kalau diisi solar biasa yg sulfurnya tinggi ya resiko mesin lama2 rusak, injectornya, pompanya, dll... Jadi di indo populasi mobil bermesin diesel canggih sangat minim.

Kalau di Eropa laris manis, karena polusi udara lebih rendah sehingga pajak mobil diesel lebih murah.

Dengan harga Pertamina DEX yg mahal, sedan diesel moderen juga tidak bisa dibilang ekonomis. Di Eropa memang dibilang ekonomis, tapi disana cuma sainagan sama bensin beroktan 92 ke atas.. Jadi harga bahan bakar tidak beda jauh, tapi konsumsi BBM beda jauh

instead of FC nya..... gw lbh concern pada torsinya.
compact car, pastilah dimaksudkan utk citycar, notabene jkt: stop & go.
utk medium-sized car, tentu saja pak bro laki2-turbo dah males2an pake mobil bensin, krn dah terlalu nyaman terbiasa dg the flavour of torsi diesel.

nah, berbeda seberapa jauhkah, karakter diesel kapsitas medium & kapasitas kecil?
maksud gw, apakah pada diesel kecil maka karakter torsinya menjadi sama dg bensin-enjin ?
mohon dicari-in perbandingan torque-chartnya ya pak bro......
