mesin K24W4 (mesin accord thai/indo) itu memang turun 1-2 hp (178-176), sama seperti mesin accord sport di LN (190 turun ke 189)
Tapi majority honda accord di pasar global yg dulunya cuma dikasi 177hp sekarang naik ke 185hp (ini kelas mainstream accord).
jadi di USDM sekarang accord tipe rendah naik dari 177 ke 185 TAPI accord sport turun dari 190 ke 189
Kalo accord yg dijual di south east asia gak tau kenapa dikasinya hp yg cupu, mungkin "disesuaikan" dengan iklim atau bahan bakar kali, gak tau penyebabnya.
Intinya banyakan pembeli yg naik hp-nya ketimbang yg turun di dunia ini.
Juga turunnya hp tsb kemungkinan besar gak akan berasa ke performa mobil karena size mobil yg makin kecil. Sama spt halnya dengan tangki bensin. Honda kecilin tangki bensin untuk maximize interior yg kepangkas karena dimensi mobil yg dikecilin. Tapi buat si pengemudi hal tsb gak akan berpengaruh ke jarak tempuh karena walaupun tangki lebih kecil tapi mobil lebih irit.
mazda 6 karena JDM maka specnya plek sama persis kaya model globalnya, beda sekitar 11 hp yg dicapai dari isi silinder yg lebih gede dan juga rasio kompresi yg jauh lebih tinggi.
Kalo sama2 USDM (yg persaingannya lebih adil dan lebih sengit), malah accord yg terlihat lebih unggul karena hp yg sama dicapai dengan isi silinder yg lebih kecil dan kompresi yg jauh lebih rendah
