Proton has issued the following press release:
The Satria Neo is a beautifully crafted evolution of the famous icon, the Satria GTi. Artistically developed in partnership with Lotus, like a masterpiece in a gallery. Untuk bisa competitive, saya rasa yang 1.3L mesti dijual dibawah 100 juta. Di negeri jiran sini yang mahal duty-nya. Jazz VTEC 1.5 disini dibanderol RM90 ribuan (sekitar Rp 225 juta), sedang City banderolnya lebih murah (dalam Rp 180 juta). Innova 2.0 G package banderolnya udah lebih dari Rp 300 juta. Rasa-rasanya harga mobil di Malaysia paling mahal di dunia.

Hmm, kalo masuk sini kayanya kena bea masuk lebih gede, karena tidak termasuk skema AFTA..
Makanya Daihatsu Sirion masih belum masuk...ngga tau deh, apakah nanti bakal di-launch di IIMS? Info terakhir, katanya bakal ada kelonggaran dari pemerintah, tapi kelanjutannya saya belum tahu.

Memang begitu. Yang mahal adalah Proton Perdana 2.0L V6 (versi Luxurynya Proton) - dibanderol RM 106,000.00. Pakai engine Mitsu yang V6. Mobil Resmi/dinas untuk para menteri ... jadinya mahal ... jok standardnya kulit. Para menteri ngantor pakai Perdana V6 ... yang di rumah ... biasa lah ... Merz ... BM ... Porsche ... Jag ... Masih belum keluar ... itu gantinya proton PUTRA GTi (2 pintu) masuk dalam kategori sport car ... masih diatas kertas ... Engine N/A punya power 220 BHP ... mungkin IL mungkin V6 (RWD). About quality & durability Proton disana gimana tuh Mr. PenyuTurbo ? Kan kalo handling & performance udah terbukti dengan turut campurnya LOTUS & mesin MITSUBISHI.
Kalo dicompare dengan rival2 dari Korea gimana tuh ? Apa setingkat di atas Korea atau kurang lebih sama ?
Mungkin dari situ kita bisa tau Proton yg akan dijual ditanah air seperti apa. Hasilnya pasti tidak beda banyak, kecuali faktor resale value

Itulah, sayapun punya satu Proton Wira 2001 A/T (4g15). Yang korea mestinya harga lebih murah ketimbang proton yang terpaksa dinaikin dan harganya paling nggak beda RM 10 ribu, hanya saja mobil korea ini (KIA) spare partnya muahal dan boros ... kebanyakan under power ... kaya Carnival ... kawan aku beli Carnival tahun 2000 dengan Harga RM 160 ribu ... 3 tahun kemudian jadi mobil nasional dan harga barunya RM 100 ribu ... kalau mau ngejual Carnival yang lama (CBU) sekarang ini hanya RM 50 ribu itupun udah keluar biaya perawatan yang NON SCHEDULED deket deket RM 90 ribu ... nggak papa dia orang kaya ini.DigitALL wrote:Hahaha ... pada intinya sih mobil di Malaysia murah2 cuma harus belinya PROTON ...

Pada awalnya kwalitas proton yang joint dengan Mitsu, kurang memuaskan tapi belakangan ini udah ok. Yang punyaku dirawat dengan baik nggak ada masalah (6 tahun) - untung dapet yang UK spec - semua masih scheduled maintenance ... ganti oli mesin, oli transmisi dsb ... sedang major parts alhamdulillah masih ok ... masih irit juga ... Durability bisa dikatakan ok sekiranya kita rawat dengan baik.
