AFTA itu Asean Free Trade Area, Malaysia sbg salah satu anggota ASEAN, dgn sendirinya masuk ke
AFTA.
Umumnya Malaysia setuju dgn pengurangan tariff antar negara2 ASEAN (CEPT Scheme), kecuali sektor Automobile.

justru itu saya nanya, emangnya bisa ikut AFTA tapi sektor tertentu, kalo CEPT sih sebelum AFTA diberlakuin juga udah berjalan, lawong saya import plastik dari malay udah 5% BM nya..... eh sorry koq jadi OOT sih..... maapin pak moderator....

AFTA itu khan perjanjian perdagangan negara2 ASEAN.

Sewaktu saya memenuhi undangan yg diselenggarakan
oleh ASEAN Secretary (Sekretariat ASEAN) dan Bea Cukai dgn Tema "ASEAN HS Nomenclature" di Hotel ************* Jakarta thn 2004 lalu, posisi malaysia
gini :

"..............Malaysia has been active in regional economic arrangements, such as the AFTA and APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation). With regards to AFTA, Malaysia places great emphasis on the early implementation of the common effective preferential tariff (CEPT) scheme which provides for concessional tariffs on intra-ASEAN trade. It continues, however, to protect its automotive industry - indeed, it won a concession from AFTA members in 2000, which allows it to continue to exclude automobiles from the agreement until 2005.

While Malaysia is gradually liberalising its tariff regime, some products are still protected by high tariffs and import licensing provisions. Market access for foreign service providers remains limited in some key services areas (including financial and some professional services), reflecting the Government's desire to encourage development of its domestic services sector."

nah justru itu berarti mereka ikut AFTA tapi dengan perjanjian khusus... sebelumnya khan mereka sempat menolak masuk AFTA kan?tapi ini khan udah 2006 mestinya udah semuanya masuk scheme 5% khan? hehehe

Yup kira2 gitu....
posisi 2006 gak tau, tapi utk produk2 automotive, importir di MY kayaknya masih kena Tariff tinggi...
makanya rata2 mobil2 merek lain di MY masih 2 kali lpat Proton :e-dance: :e-dance:

maksudnya keunggulan komparatif dan keunggulan mutlak ya? ini kan di pelajaran ekonomi... di mana jika masing2 negara yg dalam free trade tsb mengkhususkan memproduksi satu jenis brg aja maka keduanya akan better -off....

Sedangkan kalo salah satu negara lebih banyak mengimpor daripada mengekspor, dan kebanyakan mengekspor bahan mentah (harga murah) dan mengimpor bahan jadi (harga mahal)... bakal tekor berat. Contohnya... ada satu negeri yg. huruf awalnya "I"... (dan bukan India) :roll:

Kalau dilempar dengan harga 120jt ke 130jt, jatuhnya sama dengan harga di malaysia. Mungkin ada benarnya, jika ada kompromi antara Excise Duty dengan CBU Duty.

Lain ceritanya dengan Toyota Avanza :
1. Versi manual di Indonesia banderolnya sekitar RM 38,000.00 sedang di Malaysia harganya jadi RM 56,000.00
2. Versi Matic nya di Indon RM 42,000.00 sedang di Malaysia RM 60,000.00

Semua harga bukan mobil Nasional di SET lebih tinggi dari harga2 mobil Nasional untuk mem-proteksi mobil nasional Proton, Perodua ... dan kemudian muncul NAZA yang udah CKD dan Assembling Carnival (jadi NAZA RIA), Carens-II (jadi NAZA CITRA), Sorento and baru-baru ini Peugeot 206 diconvert jadi NAZA BESTARI.

Sedikit menyimpang dr topik.

Perodua itu ambil basisnya dari Daihatsu kan ?

Wah di Malay ada NAZA ya ? Baru denger ... berarti NAZA ambil basisnya dari KIA ? Tp kenapa PUG 206 juga diconvert jadi NAZA BESTARI ? Apa semua mobil dia convert ?!

Jadi NAZA Sutera produk China dengan harga dumping (lebih murah) di malaysia?

Mula-mula asal-usul Sutera diumpetin, takut rakyat tahu ... se rapi-rapinya ngumpetin tetep aja tercium. Tapi kita lihat pada "KABAIKAN"-nya saja. Jika yang demikian ini akan menurunkan harga mobil .... toh baik juga ... semua jadi senang.

Slogannya sih emang Proteksi ... hasilnya .... eheeem ... mesti disensor ... kagak boleh diomongin disini ....
