Kalau jumlah komplennya Toyota lebih sedikit dari mobil Amrik menurut saya wajar. Dibanding Honda gimana?

Re: Toyota sedang mengalami ujian berat
wah kalo ane punya (2008) malah waktu dateng kaga disumpel bro, masi kopong gt bolong2 nya.... dan waktu ane servis 1000 km pun ga taunya waktu ane perhatiin mobil2 yg stock dealer gt jg masi pada kopong bolong nya... kalo soal gearbox brisik, ada beberapa yg tingkat noise nya diatas rata2 bro... termasuk ane punya, lah wong lg idle aja di parkiran malah lebi kedengeran tuh suara kretek2 gearbox nya ketimbang suara mesin nya.... tapi stelah di cek ama beres (PIK) seh katanya gpp.... yah stelah ane pake jalan 30rebuan km jg masi gpp yah makanya ane sbodo in lah tuh suara.... btw, kalo kata CSA beberapa beres nissan seh, tuh suara kretek2 gt dari bearing kopling nya bro yg muter... tapi ada jg yg blg itu gigi mundur nya yg ikut muter... tau deh yg mana yg bener....aldy wrote:Loh ane beli (2007) kok udah kesumpel ya spakbor depan he2 Lucky kali ya..DOHC wrote:nissan aja kaga ada recall2, padahal dari batch awal livina aja uda ada masalah, gearbox, fuel gauge, steering rack (kalo yg ini blom ada solusi ampe ari ini), spakbor depan yg covernya bolong2 kaga disumpel (untung yg kluaran 2009 uda diganti bentuk cover spakbor nya)![]()
Wah iya bro masalah joint steer, steering rack kenapa ga di recall (ternyata nissan belum punya part pengganti yg ga bikin bunyi lagi, masih dikembangkan katanya)..Ane udah ganti tetep aja bunyi kok joint steer nya (walaupun ga separah dulu)
Gearbox ini ga perlu di recall bro cz emang udah takdirnya agak berisik gitu,, konsekuensi karena celah antar gigi dibuat super rapet (menurunkan FC)..
Fuel gauge 50:50 ada yg diganti gold plate udah solved ada yg masih kumat2 lagi..
Ane hampir aja jual tuh GL saking bnykny troubel tapi untung beres ga mempersulit jadi fine2 aja..Yg paling buat kecewa BERES nissan justru ane minta ganti part V-Belt ("barangnya ga ada inden dulu pak 10 hari")..OMG![]()
![]()
![]()
Kenapa kok BERES nissan adem ayem
Masyarakat indo kurang galak men "detik.com" kannya..wkwkwk kaboooor..![]()
trus kalo soal vbelt, bro aldy ganti pas km brapa ?? ane punya koq baru 27an rebu km pas kmaren ini koq disuruh ganti yah....

Banyak juga ya Toyota nyumpel mulut konsumennya supaya gak komplen...
oh brarti 2 komplen ttg (misalnya) 'dasbor yg bunyi2' LBH BURUK drpd 1 komplen ttg 'akselerasi mendadak yg bs berujung cidera/kematian'...???But the study did not rate the reported incidences for severity.
mantap gan

kok kyknya ane prnh baca ttg itu sblmnya ya? cari2 kebelakang.... eh nemuSome automakers assume that customer complaints are the result of driver error and not necessarily a reflection of design problems, said Jeannine Fallon, an Edmunds.com analyst.

A peerless reputation for quality and safety has helped Toyota become the world's largest automaker. But even as its sales have soared, the company has delayed recalls, kept a tight lid on disclosure of potential problems and attempted to blame human error in cases where owners claimed vehicle defects.

wah... prius di indonesia aman loh! ga pake recall! mantap gan....
ini yg ngomong presdir TAM sendiri (bukan gw), jd jgn salper
http://oto.detik.com/read/2010/02/09/12 ... ulang-saja
karena...
eh, tp berita besoknya prius direcall di Spore loh
http://oto.detik.com/read/2010/02/10/11 ... -dan-korea
baru tau ane klo di Spore ada 4 musim........................

ini yg ngomong presdir TAM sendiri (bukan gw), jd jgn salper
http://oto.detik.com/read/2010/02/09/12 ... ulang-saja

http://oto.detik.com/read/2010/02/10/11 ... -dan-korea

Re: Toyota sedang mengalami ujian berat
Mungkin karena di Indonesia cuman ada 13 Prius...

Eh gak ya...GM kan sempurna, saking sempurnanya sampe bangkrut, saking sempurnanya gak digubris ama bangsanya sendiri

Ini contoh kesempurnaan GM http://www.nytimes.com/1992/11/22/weeki ... gewanted=1
General Motors Corporation, already struggling to right itself financially, was struck another blow last week when internal company documents regarding the safety of millions of its pickup trucks were disclosed in a Federal inquiry and in a Texas suit filed by a consumer group. The G.M. papers show that company officials decided in 1983 that a pickup's fuel tank might be made "much less vulnerable" to leaking during accidents if it were positioned inside the vehicle's main frame. But G.M. did not make that change until its 1988 models, and more than five million pickups with "sidesaddle" tanks are still on the road.
Federal highway officials are reviewing claims by the Center for Auto Safety, an advocacy group in Washington, that over 300 people have died in fires started when the fuel tank on a G.M. pickup leaked in a side-impact collision. General Motors officials acknowledge having settled some of the 108 lawsuits brought against the company; in some suits, settlements have exceeded $1 million. If regulators decide to order a recall, it could cost G.M. tens of millions more.

Ooo...ada juga manfaat bangkrut ya...lawsuit2nya kandasIt's been nearly three years since Kim lost her husband. He died from injuries in a grisly car accident. The 44-year old was behind the wheel of his Geo Tracker when it was hit from behind on Route 50 and quickly caught fire. Mark couldn't unbuckle his seatbelt and was trapped, burning alive in the gas-fueled fire until passersby pulled him from the car. Lieutenant Michael Donaway from the Salisbury Fire Department says, "It was very gruesome, very gruesome. That's probably the worst thing I've ever seen, unfortunately."
Bryan Murray pulled Jones from the burning car. He says, "From his waist to his head were on fire." The Jones' believe that fire can be blamed on a faulty fuel tank that punctured during the crash. They sued General Motors, claiming the company knew about the defect and its dangers, but didn't do anything about it. Kim says the case was moving toward a potential settlement, "It's been going on a long time and we were so relieved it was almost over."
But her family’s relief turned to heartbreak when they learned the GM bankruptcy would bring their case to a grinding halt. Mandi Jones, Mark’s daughter, tells ABC2, “It's scary because it feels like a copout, like we're being put on the back burner." They're not alone. Auto safety experts, including Sean Kane with Safety Research and Strategies, say hundreds of cases against GM and Chrysler are now in a holding pattern. A special bankruptcy filing allowed the new Chrysler to start over free and clear of all liability in injury cases. GM is planning a similar filing, meaning the families of those hurt or killed by product defects have essentially lost their right to sue the new companies.

GM bangkrut karena rugi besar di North American operations...tanya kenapa
Oooo...begini ya caranya GM settle masalah recall...
http://www.nytimes.com/1994/12/03/us/us ... gewanted=1
lah kan Toyota parah2 recallnya...bukan cuman bunyi2 dashboard. Kalo perusahaan yg lain cepat bereaksi kalo soal safety, contohnya GM ini...jadi gak sempet bikin orang mati...

Kan Toyota kerjanya membungkam konsumen yg menuntut dgn di bayar, gak kaya GM kan?
Mestinya Toyota nyumbang aja ke GM ya, kan punya pemerintah juga...siapa tau dikasi gak usah recall

Ooo...kalo udah lama gak boleh dipake, kata siapa? Kata ente?U.S. and G.M. End Truck Case Without Recall
DETROIT, Dec. 2 Transportation Secretary Federico F. Pena today announced an unprecedented legal settlement with the General Motors Corporation that will end a Federal investigation of up to six million pickup trucks he had called potentially lethal. In exchange for dodging a possible recall, G.M. will contribute $51.3 million to safety programs that Mr. Pena said would save more people than the trucks would kill.
Mr. Pena sought to portray the settlement as the most efficient way to save lives, by swapping years of litigation to force a recall of a dwindling number of aging trucks for immediate help to "save hundreds of lives and prevent thousands of injuries in the next several years."
The alternatives, Mr. Pena said, were "to close the case with no public benefit or to proceed with a forced recall, which would have involved years of litigation, an uncertain outcome, and prevented few, if any, deaths."
The settlement was a clear victory for G.M., which escaped fighting a potentially embarrassing and costly court battle, and paying an estimated $1 billion to recall and fix the trucks. The Government's finding of a safety defect could also have been used to bolster about 50 lawsuits brought by victims' families against the nation's No. 1 automobile maker.

September 15 2008
In yet another big red mark on GM's ledger, the General has settled a class-action lawsuit brought by the owners of more than 90,000 Saturn Vue and Ion models that came with GM's VTi continuously variable transmission. The transmission has, apparently, had an unusually high failure rate and cost $4000 to $5000 to replace. Featured in the 2002 to 2005 Vue and 2003 to 2004 Ion, the transmission was discontinued after 2005.

jd mana yg kebuka utk umum, mana yg ga... udah tau kan? After a 2007 crash of a Camry that accelerated out of control for 20 miles before killing the driver of another car in San Jose, Toyota was sued by members of the victim's family. Their attorney, Louis Franecke, said the automaker "didn't want to go to trial," and paid them a seven-figure sum in exchange for dropping the case and signing a non-disclosure form.
In an interview, Guadalupe Gomez, the driver of the runaway Camry, said he also signed a confidentiality agreement and received a settlement from Toyota. He was initially arrested on suspicion of manslaughter for causing the crash, but charges were never filed.
By settling, Toyota has managed to keep potentially damaging information out of the public eye, said Raymond Paul Johnson, a Los Angeles attorney who said he had settled four sudden-acceleration cases with the automaker.

Gimana? Ya ya...bener kok ente....bener2 ngawurBut more than 500 of the trucks have exploded in crashes, with people dying in 183 of the collisions, said James Butler, the lawyer for Mrs. Moseley and the other families who announced the settlement today.
Mr. Butler said that besides the Moseley case, the settlements announced today involved cases of three other drivers:
Donald Wilson, 51, who burned to death after his 1987 pickup truck struck a utility trailer near Tulsa in October 1992; Calvin Cockrum, 30, who burned to death after his motorcycle struck the side of one of the G.M. pickup trucks in Wichita, Kan., in October 1992, and Shawn Bishop, 22, a Kellyville, Okla., man who died when his 1979 pickup truck caught fire when it struck a bridge abutment in fog in November 1993.
The settlement was reached just before trial in the Bishop case was to start in United States District Court in Oklahoma City, Mr. Butler said. General Motors had suffered a number of adverse pretrial rulings in that case, he said, including one requiring them to reveal the terms of all previous settlements they had reached involving the trucks.
Just three weeks ago the automobile maker reached a settlement in four cases in Texas courts involving the trucks. Ronald Krist, the Houston lawyer who represented one of the plaintiffs in those cases, also declined to disclose the terms of his client's settlement, but said:
"They have settled about eight of the cases in the last 30 days and I believe that this ruse of settlements in such a short time means that G.M. feels that the product is indefensible."
A spokesman for General Motors, Ed Lechtzin, disputed such inferences, insisting that Mr. Krist, Mr. Butler and others, having chosen to settle their clients' cases out of court, were "now attempting to try their case through sound bites and innuendo."
