Kayaknya ya.....kalo dibilang Lotus itu konsultan engineering-nya proton, mungkin lebih ke engineering sektor kaki2 (memang jago-nya Lotus) daripada sektor mesin.

Campro engine dari basis mesin mitsu mungkin juga sih secara dulu proton alih teknologinya dari Mitsu kan

Soalnya lucu juga kalo proton bangga-banggain mesinnya dibikin bersama oleh Lotus, sedangkan Lotus sendiri di mobil2nya yg beredar sekarang pake mesin Toyota semua, gak ada yg pake mesin bikinan Lotus. Yg baru aja nih Lotus Evora (namanya mirip Exora yah?) pake mesin 2GRFE nya toyota lagi.

Btw, gw td test drive exora di iims. Gw test drive muter2 bbrp kali di lapangan, so ga bs bener2 tau karakter kendararaan. Td yg gw pake exora at. Driving position ok, kenyamanan ok, krn ga jalan jauh, so akselerasi, road noise, dll ga ketauan. Interior designnya ok, cuman materialnya agak berkesan murahan. Over all, exora sangat menarik dgn abs, ebd, dual airbag, hu mp3, blue tooth, steering control, reading light, double blower, dll plus harga "murah"175jt manual, n 185jt matic. Td tanya, ktnya bengkel ada di slipi, sunter, kalimalang, dll.

melihat dari harga mulai dari 175jt dg feature berlimpah.. tampilan seigtu sih udah keren deh... :big_peace: .. soal tampang sih GL ga kalah kalo dah di makeover .. he he he .. cuma sekarang dah ga murah spt dulu ... :frm_bang_head:

bukan begitu maksudnya bos maxx.
angka 1000 itu kayaknya bukan hanya dari event iims, tapi penjualan keseluruhan.

ampeg itu basa sunda artinya mirip dgn mantap/kokoh.

jd mau beli nih, mobil yg ditest AT yg 185juta
anehnya kemairn gue test drive kok boyo, pdhl sdh gue turunin ke gigi 2, posisi mobil dari berhenti lalu lsg gue betot injek gas poll, tp ga ada reaksi yg berarti...msh lbh brasa livina di gigi 2nya.

sayang interiornya mirip banget ama terios, jadi ilfil kayaknya .....yg menang yah itu, exterior dan featurenya yg berlimpah, head unit aje pake clarion asli.

dan yg paling saya suka.....LEGA selega INOVA......terus terang, biar livina saya sebagus apapun, kalo ada duit mah saya beli nih mobil. Ruangan LEGA ga dpt dibeli utk mobil murah spt itu, kecuali beli truck pick up.....lega deh tuh duduk belakang

Kalo ga dipikir boyo dan after sales, ataoupun suku cadang, mobil ini bener2 murah dgn feature yg berlimpah, model luar ga murahan.

Tuas di "2" itu belum tentu dari gigi 1, sebagian mobil hanya di gigi 2 bahkan dari start => buat winter.
Tapi, rasanya sulit buat ngalahin hentakan awal mobil2 jepang...

kalo liat bentuk2 mesin, kayanya basis mesin DanGan Gti 1600cc.

wah kalo mesin DanGan, artinya exora pake mesin butut donk

Gigi 2 memang bukan paling rendah sih bos, tp yah hrsnya akan brasa hentakannya donk...ini mah boro2 brasa hentakan.....kayak mesin ngeden bro, naek pelan2.......kalo kita mo mikir positive sih, bagus juga yah tanpa hentakan utk yg bawa bayi, org tua, makan sup di mobil, betul bgitu ? hahaha

pas lagi tanjakan.......mampus dah tuh

Hehehe......butut sih ngga lah bro......mungkin cuma basic n teknologi nya aja yg mirip dgn DanGan, selebihnya pasti ada pengembangan yg lainnya.....
Lagi pula kalo menurut sy pribadi mesin DanGan GTi masih worth koq buat di gunakan pada mobil baru jaman skr....tekonologi ga kuno2 amat, bahkan masih boleh dibilang jauh lebih bagus dibandingkan dgn mesin2 baru dari merk tertentu dgn perbandingan harga di kisaran segini.....

iya, tapi bodynya gede bgt dan berat, butuh horser power dan torque lebih besar.
Exora ini hanya fokus kenyamanan dan safety (4 stars euroNcap equivalent ) + fitur. kalo utk performancenya nungguin aja Exora turbo 2010 .

pasti akan byk yg tergugah hatinya ke proton

ga usah tunggu 2010 kayaknya skrg beli lsg pasang turbo juga NYOS NYOS NYOS kok....lagian hrg versi tubronya proton juga pasti mahal, mending aftermarket kali yah mnrt gue

dari semua model proton, cuman ini doang yg masuk hati gue
sama kayak nissan, cuma livina doang yg gue suka hehehe

Proton Exora blooms in town

The Exora will be the new cheap MPV

Proton’s first MPV has arrived in Singapore with a price tag of $57,999 with COE. Called ‘Exora’, it will mainly rival the aging $67,000 Kia Carens.

It comes with a 1.6-litre ‘CamPro CPS’ engine made by Proton, with the aid of Lotus, and a new modular chassis, also developed with the help of Lotus. The in-line four powerplant generates 125hp and 150Nm of torque, helping the nearly 1.4-tonne Exora get from 0-100km/h in 15.5 seconds.

We got to test drive the new Exora in Jakarta recently and also spoke to lead engineer for the Proton Exora project, Mohd Najib bin Mahmood about how they flexed their owner muscles with Lotus, a two-door coupe and their plans for the near future.

CB: How did Lotus help to develop this car?

Najib: Lotus is good in chassis engineering, setting up the suspension of the car, NVH, and also for ride and handling. Lotus came to Malaysia during its early development stages to test, calibrate and tune the chassis, and it was further developed in the UK to troubleshoot any parameters.

CB: What took Proton so long to come up with an MPV?

Najib: Actually, this is our fourth attempt to introduce an MPV. But this is the one that really makes us proud. It has a very intelligent platform that we developed for Proton so that in the near future, we can derive a number of cars from it. From this platform, we can produce sedans, large cars and SUVs.

At this point, Najib shares that a medium-segment sedan prototype is already being tested.

CB: Why was it not engineered to achieve a five-star crash test result?

Najib: We achieved a four-star rating with the body compartment, but in order to achieve five stars, it requires additional side and curtain airbags. The most important thing is the body; the strength of the A- and B-pillars, side bars and the roof have already higher safety ratings. Introducing those airbags will increase the cost of the car. The most important are the driver and passenger’s airbags.

CB: Will there be a two-door coupe based on this platform?

Najib: Yes, in fact we are just waiting for direction from our management. If they want it, this platform can be used.

Wah kalo turbo..HR15DE nissan livina udah ada tinggal pasang plek..IMPUL supercharger harganya 30jutaan..he2 dijamin mak joss..Katanya kalo harian settingnya power 140HP, torsi ga tau nambah berapa..Ada yang udah pasang??

itu wartawan nulisnya vulgar banget pake kata "Cheap" jadinya entar kesannya kaya produk murah-an lagi. Pake kata affordable atau price-conscious kek.....lebih "sopan" hehehe.....
