'Panasin Mobil' <= bener ga sih??
Bro sebenerny manasin mobil tuh wajib ga? Ada yang bilang itu salah kaprah (secara teori), jadi buang2 bensin doank..
tapi buat kebanyakan orang ni udah jadi ritual wajib > biar mesin awet (mitoskah??)..

Panasin mobil tetep jadi menu utama, walau kadang tidak wajib juga karena keburu-buru, tapi setidaknya pas pertama hidupin mesin biarkan lansam beberapa menit, itu memberi kesempatan kepada oli untuk naik dan merata di komponen mesinnya. saya kita secanggih apapun mesinnya tetep aja ada warm up dulu.... walau tanpa itu mesin bisa jalan juga. Tapi itu tidak bijak namanya, kan kasihan ama mesinnya, langsung dipaksa. Pemanasan juga nggak harus lama-lama kok, sesuaikan dengan kondisi mesinya..sip lah

Manasin boil pagi hari sudah menjadi kebiasaan para supir di indo bro, tp kalo sy bilang ngga perlu apalagi kalo boil jalan tiap hari. Manasin mesin paling maksimum 2 mnt cukup supaya oli2x dah pada naek dan rata baru jalan. Kalo dibiarin idle lama nanti malah boros di bensin. Enaknya habis start langsung jalan pelan2x aja

Kebiasaan buruk & Salah mitos u/ mobil2 jaman sekarang:
1. Panasin mobil lebih dari 1menit dipagi hari sebelum digunakan.
2. Geber2 mesin sebelum matikan mesin.
Bener Bos Khöedhöe: kalo ga dipake dalam waktu yg lama.. setidaknya 1minggu 1x dipanasin dan ajak muter keliling komplek .. jangan dipanasin dalam keadaan diam u/ waktu yg lama, bukan apa2 .. krn gas buangnya lebih berbahaya saat kondisi mesin dingin.

Gw masih manasin sekitar 5 menitan lebih mobil di pagi hari. Terus terang, di manual itu nggak ada dan alasannya jg nggak ada yg pasti (tertulis).
Cuman yg gw ingat, aus logam dalam mesin itu penyebab paling dominan berasal dari friction besi2 menit2 pertama cold started (sama seperti kata iklan salah satu oli..
).
Dan gw liat indikator tekanan olie di boil gw, baru 5-10 menit setelah start baru "normal". 5-10 menit pertama, pompa olie masih bekerja fully maks dan independen (tidak tergantung RPM), setelah ketinggian olie di bak penyimpanan nya turun sampe titik tertentu (artinya sebagian besar olie sudah naik), baru pompa olie nya 100% bekerja sesuai RPM. Nah, titik itu yg gw tunggu. Intinya sih, gw nggak pengen ngasih beban ama mesin, sampe pelumasannya optimal. Kecuali kepepet.. he..he..
Cuman gw nggak pernah neken2 pedal gas saat manasin. 900 rpm always..

I know that this if off-topic, but cool-down idling for a minute or three is necessary on most turbo vehicles, including diesels. The reason is that the turbo bearing has engine oil running through it; at operating temperature it's hot enough to coke (char) the oil but the constant flow of oil prevents this from happening. If you turn the engine off while the turbo is hot, the oil in the bearing will char and cause terrible wear when it next spools up - it's like pouring fine sand in there. If you let it idle for a few minutes, it will cool below the char point of the stationary oil. Purely synthetic oils are a lot more difficult to char.

Yup.. spt gw bilang.. intinya.. panasin mesin hanya berlaku u/ pertama kali dihidupkan setelah mesin mobil off/parkir lebih dari 6jam => ga perlu lebih dari 1 menit, mobil sudah bisa dijalankan. diurutlah..jangan lgs geber.
Bila Mesin off tidak lebih dari 6 Jam.. tidak perlu dipanasin lagi.. cuma perlu tunggu 10-15 detik aja bisa langsung jalan.
Dan yg paling penting matikan mesin saat rpm idle..jangan geber2 trus turn-off.

mobil perlu adanya pemanasan terlebih dahulu, soal pemanasannya berapa lama itu tergantung dengan rekomendasi masing2 pabrikan, biasanya setiap kendaraan punya temperatur mesin yang ideal untuk bisa langsung diberi beban, biasanya ada panel indikator di petujuk temperatur ada garis putus (atau lainnya), bila jarum sudah pada garis tsb maka mesin sudah pada temperatur idealnya, bisa langsung bejek gas deh, coba aja kalo belum pada temperatur idealnya kemudian bejek gas kuat kalo nggak loyo tuh mesin...abis belum siap...itulah gunanya pemanasan selain memberikan kesempatan oli untuk merata juga untuk mencapai temperatur ideal sebuah mesin...
misalnya kalo pada mobil mits lancer GTi pada start awal servo akan merespon untuk memberikan rpm tinggi guna mempercepat temperatur ideal mesin...nggak tahu kalo mobil lain...kemudian baru deh ngaciiirrrr....

Lha.. itu khan TIDAK HANYA berlaku buat konteks pemanasan DOANG. Asal suhu optimal mesin belum tercapai pembakaran tidak akan sempurna. Mo kondisi idle (pemanasan) atau sambil jalan pelan2, sami mawon tuh bos. Malah lebih parah kalo sambil jalan. Kalo mo cepat panas, yg digeber2. gak tau juga sih ya... karena itu disebutin juga kalo baru dinyalain, bawanya pelan2 aja gitu... seenggaknya bisa panas lebih cepat (jalan 1800-2500rpm) daripada nunggu idling (1100rpm)

Gw sih manasin mesin selalu 10 detik doang, toh ntar pas jalan ga langsung digeber. Jalan pelan2 sama manasin idle mah ga beda. Cuma pada saat ini temperatur oli belum mencapai temperatur kerja mesin dan jeroan mesin belum memuai optimal makanya jangan digeber. Rugi kalo manasin lama2 soalnya kan lagi posisi warming up yg mana Air Fuel Ratio nya lg rich, ngabisin bensin aje..
