Para senior SM sekalian..saya adalah pemakai great corolla 92. Saat ini sedang kepingin ganti mobil dgn mesin diesel.Alasannya konon irit,tangguh, perawatan lebih mudah dr pd mesin bensin..

Kebetulan ketemu tmpat yang pas buat nanya2..

1. mohon kasih info plus/minus pake mesin diesel
2. enaknya pilih mana: kijang kapsul diesel atau panther kapsul? kalo bisa dengan perbandingannya
3. kalo duit 100-125jt dpt yang mana ya..lokasi semarang

buat responnya mksh banyak..
kalo pernah dibahas tlg kasih tau..

maaf kurang paham..
maksudnya panther getarnyan lebih hebat?? sangat mengurangi kenyamanan ndak?

soal boros, kira2 selisih berapa panther sama kijang..borosan kijang ya?

broo.. ane make panther.. geterannya halus kok, ya walaupun gk bisa disamakan dengan getaran mesin bensin, tapi nyaman dan tidak menganggu....

kalo selama ane make panther plusnya :
1. bahan bakar irit bgt.
2. perawatan mudah dan cukup murah.
3. kondisi peredam juga cukup mumpuni buat meredam suara mesin ( mungkin tergantung type )
4. AC sangat dinginnnnnnnn

kalo minusnya :
1. shock belakang cukup keras ( gk tau berlaku buat semua panther atau cuman panther ane aja )
2. suspensi depan cepet lemah ( menurut ane )

segitu aja deh plus minusnya menurut ane, nti kalo keinget lagi ane tambahin deh, sementara yang keinget ya baru segitu.

ane make panther kapsul LS tahun 2000..

kijang diesel hampir unggul disemua aspek dibanding panther....salah satu point yg kalah dr kijang disel adalah konsumsi bbmnya, panther masih jauh lbh irit.

Masih ada lg kakak, harga parts panther jauh lebih murah & banyak parts KW nya dibandingkan kijang.
Otomatis biaya perawatan panther jd lebih murah drpd kijang :big_peace:

Soal kaki2 yang sering bermasalah apa emang ini salah satu kelemahan panther?
Atau cuma panther yang generasi lama(kotak)??
Trus ada hubunganya dengan pemakaian harian nggak? misal jam terbang yang tinggi..

dari awal sih emang pingin cari panther, Abang2 smua ada tips ndak cara nge-chek mesin masih bagus ato ndak (biar nggak salah beli)..
skalian juga tips2 penting perawatn biar mesin tetap bagus..

kalo 125jt an dpat yg tahun brp ya?

kijang diesel berisiknya kecil tp frekuwnsi tinggi....karakteristik: torsinya didapat di rpm agak tinggi.
panther berisiknya sbnernya lbh keras tp di frekuensi rendah....karakteristik: torsi nya didapat sejak rpm rendah banget.

entah gmana menghubungkannya, tp
- kijang diesel injektornya konvensional, 4 piston yg masing2 disundul oleh semacam camshaft gitu .
- panther injektornya model rotary/rotor... ke ruang bakarnya direct injection... ada jg mesin yg versi 'turbo'.

tapi biasanya orang yang sering pake mobil bensin begitu coba starter mobil solar aga ill feel ya ...

dulu waktu lagi cari mobil nyoba starter mobil solar, waktu itu kijang kapsul taon 98 solar ... begeter banget ...

tapi belakangan ini waktu itu pas lagi ditempat cucian mobil, tukang cuci minta tolong mindahin mobil yang abis dicuci karena orang yng punya mobil gi ga ada di tempat, mobil nya Kuda solar.. wuidihh, geter nya juga bikin shock ...

tapi taon keluaran kendaraan (masa pakai maksudnya) sama perawatan ngaruh ga ya finally menentukan 'besar' nya getaran mobil solar ini ?

yg saya rasakan mmg begitu, pak jogja...panther berasa lbh 'rosa' kalau nanjak.
masalah serius pd mesin, ndak pernah....justru di kijang diesel saya pernah ngalamin jebol piston dan stang seher nya... krn ada jalur oli yg melewati selang karet (pdhl yg arah hi pressure) , jd kalau gak aware dg kondisinya/getas dan gak aware dg indikator oil pressure, maka pas selang itu jebol tiba2, ya udah deh jd telat oli kan...

kalau gmana ngeceknya sih standar spt mobil2 lain. klo ttg mesin, berlama2lah merasa2kan suara mesinnya, klo bs bersama teman...kalau berlama2 gitu, ntar kalau ada suara yg asing, biasanya akan ternoticed deh.

plus minus masing2 udah pada dikemukakan tadi.... tp yg plg saya notice adalh cat kijang di mata saya tetap lebih mulus...
mgkin itu berhubungan dg bahan plat bodynya.
yg saya rasakan, interior jg tetep msh lbh handal/awet kijang drpd panther kapsul pun.

katanya yg bikin banyak getaran dan berisik, juga dari rasio kompresinya...semakin tinggi kompresinya jadi semakin berisik dan getar, betul begitu?

makanya mesin diesel modern sekarang kompresinya jauh lebih rendah dari mesin diesel jadul, bahkan mulai mendekati mesin bensin yg rasio kompresinya super tinggi

efeknya (positif), getaran/berisiknya mesin berkurang, trus materialnya jg ga musti se-badak mesin diesel jadul (efek lainnya, bobot lebih ringan)

tolong dikoreksi :D

yg dimaksdud mendekati rasio kompresi mesin bensin tu yg mesin diesel skrg atau diesel jadul, meneer ?

kalau mesin diesel skrg kan rata2 udah diturbo-in...pdhl utk dikasih turbo, kompresinya harus direndahin kan, dibanding N/A nya ?

memang sih, rasio kompresi diesel sekarang lebih rendah. tapi hal ini disebabkan untuk mengimbangi udara yang diinduksi oleh turbo. tentang material harusnya tetap sama2 badak.. wong tenaga yang dihasilkan diesel modern bisa 2x lipat diesel jadoel. malah menurut ane, perlu material yang lebih bagus lagi... cmiiw..

ikut nambahin y om..
Tapi soal ketangguhan mesin panther.
Saya udah 5 taon ini mengendarai panther kotak.
Kalo kaki2 cuma pernah ganti laher depan aja sekali.
Kalo mesin emang badak bgt, mau pakenya "agak kasar" jg mesin tetep oke aja (menurut saya). Cocok bgt buat operasional, tanpa memikirkan model n interior. Tanjakan enteng bgt, lebih enteng drpd innova d4d.

sekedar info aja om, phanter juga punya kelemahan.
sedotan oli mesinnya terlalu dekat ama carternya, jadi kalo carternya mentok, mesin bakal tekor oli karena sedotannya ketutup penyoknya carter. Ini kejadian di temen saya. Padahal penyoknya cuma dikit. Jadi harus turun mesin. Ini phanter kapsul th 2000, gtw kalo yang baru sekarang
