Selain itu ada hal lain yg sebaiknya diperhatikan juga saat pasang busi, yaitu klo sdh mentok tinggal tambain sedikit aja (kira2), jangan ampe terlalu kencang, krn klo terlalu kencang bisa mengakibatkan businye patah (pada merk2 tertentu). Makanya di busi ada skala kekencangan yg gunanya agar saat pasang busi kekencangannya pas.
Satu lagi neh, klo ada dipakein dah sejenis gemuk (copper compound) agar saat dibuka tidak macet. Nah fungsi gemuk ini adalah mencegah karat pada baut, terutama di suhu yg tinggi spt busi, baut2 pada knalpot, juga baut2 pada karburator yg berhubungan dg intake manifold (cmiiw).
Mungkin ada yg pernah ngalamin saat mau ganti knalpot, bautnye patah akibat jarang dibuka n terkena panas dlm jangka waktu yg lama. Klo dah begini khan jadi repot buat memperbaikinya. Klo tuh baut terbuka, gampang aja tinggal ganti baut ama murnye, tapi klo dratnye ditanam gimane?. hayuooo pikir ndiri. :mrgreen:

kalo masalah karat/perlindungan terhadap lembab, biasanya kl sy, sebelum dipasang ke lubangnya, busi ta semprot dulu pake penetrant (WD), setelah terpasangpun sy semprot lagi... kira2 methode slah ato bener yah?

sepertinya busi iridium susah dipalsu deh bro...tp ya ga tau juga sih...

masalahnya ujung elektroda iridium itu kecil nian, paling 0.4 mm, kalo bukan terbuat dari material iridium, pasti sudah soak tu kebakar percikan api. kl mo beli, ya ditest ditempat, kan biasanya ada alat display buat nge-test busi.

u r welcome.

Metode ini tidak ada salahnya klo dilakukan, tapi menurut ane kurang efektif. Jadi klo ada mendingan pakein gemuk aja, klo tidak ada yg spt ane anjurkan, pakein aja yg mengandung molybdenum (model yg kayak odol), khan harganya relatip murah. :e-whistle:

klo platinum ga skuat iridium..

platinum jauh lebih lemah dibanding iridium..
platinum lumayan cepet abis..

kalo digambarnya (gambarnya kecil2 sih... :mrgreen: ) kok kelihatan item dan berminyak banget, apa ga terlalu rich pembakarannya? apalagi kalo itemnya berminyak (basah), bisa jadi oli-nya sudah rembes masuk ke ruang bakar :shrug:

imho, sepertinya pembakarannya terlalu rich pak, dan nampaknya oli jg msk ruang bakar tuh? oli sering nambah ga? lubang knalpotnya apakah berasap dan berminyak/basah berjelaga?

dan dibagian perut perselen-nya, kok ada item/jelaganya juga yah? bagian itu kan ga masuk ruang bakar? itemnya darimana tuh? :e-think:

Itu item2 businya...selain mungkin karena setelan terlalu rich, jangan2 juga akibat pemakaian Fuel treatment.... mirip2 kasusnya meneer esh, cuman bedanya karena pemakaian OB :ungg:

meneer, fotonya kecil n gelap... :shrug: kasih yg macro/close up dong....jadi biar lebi terang :angel:

sekilas, dari kesimpulan awam nih:
1. Ada gejala AFRnya terlalu kaya (rich), lumayan berjelaga
2. Ada kemungkinan sering pake fuel additive/octane booster, elektrodanya jadi merah keunguan, bisa jadi keracunan timbal (lead) atau mangan...
3. Nampaknya insulatornya sudah bocor, ditandai dengan berjelaganya lapisan keramik di busi yg tdk masuk ruang bakar secara langsung, ini alamat busi dah minta ganti :mrgreen: , kasusnya seperti busi pak switerajaya diatas tuh

Kalo diujung elektrodanya ada butiran2 halus nan kecil berwarna keunguan (di foto ga kelihatan sih, terlalu kecil n gelap), ada gejala mesin mulai ngelitik halus...mgkn perlu carbon clean

Masalah kebocoran insulator tadi, kalo terlalu parah bisa mengakibatkan misfiring...


Ditunggu pakar SM lainnya untuk kasih sharing atau mengkoreksi postingan saya? :e-think:

Yup.... betul meneer, insulator busi. Makanya saya lihat di foto diatas, perut busi yg dari ceramic, terlihat oli atau jelaga yg berasal dari ruang bakar...cmiiw

oic oic...jadi ganti busi seharusnya sudah no problemo yah meneer?:)

ngmg2...saya kadang2 memang memakai fuel cleaner...terakhir busi ini dipakai utk g'zox carb cleaner..jadi mgkn agak item n tip nya jadi keunguan yah?:)

Misal Busi Denso W16EX-U itu bisa untuk mobil apa saja?
Busi Bosch F7DC untuk mobil apa saja?
Ada yg bisa bantu dgn tabel untuk kode dan aplikasi busi Denso & Bosch?
Bagaimana cara menguji kemampuan suatu busi?

Kalau begini sulit..
Biasanya kebalikannya lebih mudah.. pakai "applications" atau lihat standard yang diberikan oleh pabrik (biasanya ada 3 pilihan merk dan type).. lalu cari "equivalent" atau"cross reference"

kalau saya lihat dari situs ini sih untuk Toyota mesin 3K.

Iya bro, untuk mobil2 umum di indo mlh ga ada. Padahal gw fokusnya di mobil2 niaga kyk colt diesel.
Maybe ada SMer yg bisa bantu? Untuk busi bosch, ngk, or denso?
