bro smuanya, gimana sih cara nyeting mj dan pj? gw pingin bisa nih... mana yang tuk nyeting angin ma bensinnya... kalo karbu shogun sp gw diganti pake karbu punya rx-king seberapa besar pengaruhnya ke tarikan? kalo filterboxnya gw lepas apa ngaruh juga bos? trus kasih masukan juga dong harus di apain aja nih karbu bisa supaya nambah ke tarikannya (supaya optimal gitu deh, tp yg masih batas recommended yah) thank's bro...

Shogun SP ya? Favoritnya bengkel untuk naik performa tuh.

Yang sering disarankan sih ganti karbu dengan Keihin PE24, mainjet dan pilotjet diganti dengan yang lebih besar. Bbrp menyarankan pakai PJ 17.5 dan MJ 100, tapi untuk MJ masih ragu2.

Lepas filter udara sih bisa aja menaikkan performa juga, tapi resikonya debu jadi gampang masuk ke ruang bakar, dan itu bisa berakibat blok mesin menjadi baret2. Akibatnya nanti harus di-oversize lagi. Makanya untuk filter udara, sebaiknya tetap dipasang, minimal diganti dengan filter racing.

Trus pelat dan kampas kopling diganti dengan Satria 2T yang 6-speed.

makasih bang tuff, emang kampas kopling belum diganti juga nih, emang kampas recommend untuk diganti tiap berapa jauh pemakaiaan bro?

Favorit karena gampang naekin performanya, bukan karena sering jajan. 8)

Tapi kalau Shogun SP yang baru, lain cerita lagi. Perlu banyak ubahan untuk supaya bisa sekencang SP yang lama, karena kontruksi mesin dan pengapiannya berbeda dengan versi lama.

Ganti kampas dan pelat kopling hanya untuk meningkatkan akselerasi aja. Kalau semisalnya masih jental-jentul, belum perlu ganti kopling. Kecuali memang mo nambah akselerasi pada tarikan awalnya.

wah..wah..asyik beduaan aja nih..ngomongin soun yah? ai jg pake.. :P

klo karbu soun 125 mo ganti yg aga gedean asal ga korekan extrim mendingan pake karbu Suzuki ARASHI aja..tinggal plek tuh..pernah jajalin sih..tarikan atas/bawahnya jd entengan. konsumsi bensin jg ga boros. mesin std jg msh bagus.

Kalau aku sih rekomen standar pabrikan aja. :P

Mungkin aku nggak tepat ditanyai soal rekomen pakai karbu apa, soalnya Shogun SP-ku sendiri masih standar kok dari pabrikan. Belum kepikiran mo upgrade performa. Mungkin nanti kalau rencana modif jadi dilaksanakan.

Aku sendiri juga masih tanya sana-sini kok untuk urusan upgrade performa ini di forum tetangga. Kalau mo sekalian naekin performanya drastis, ganti ke PE24 aja (+coak box filter udara+intake TDR).

Kalau mau yang langsung plek tapi performanya naek tidak secara drastis, ganti dengan VM19 aja atau VM18-nya di-reamer jadi VM19 (resikonya karbu di-reamer jadi nggak bisa balik standar lagi kalau ada apa2). Tapi karet outlet filter udaranya harus diganti juga dengan punya Arashi.

bro, gimana cara kita ngenalin bahwa ni motor kurang angin(pj) atau kurang bensinnya(mj)? gas ngempos atau gmn? mohon pencerahan...

AFAIK, PJ dan MJ dua2nya untuk bensin. PJ untuk supply bensin saat RPM rendah, sedangkan MJ untuk supply bensin saat RPM tinggi (CMIIW).

Untuk tahu AFR-nya (Air-Fuel Ratio) pas atau nggak, bisa dilihat dari kondisi businya.

Tapi kalau aku lebih mengandalkan perasaan. Setelan angin biasanya ditutup dulu hingga full, kemudian dibuka 1,5 putaran (360+180 derajat).

Lupa nambahin.

Yang aku rasakan saat ganti premium ke pertamax, setelan anginnya terlalu kecil sehingga bensin boros, getar mesin terasa hingga kaki, makanya air-screw-nya harus dibuka sedikit.

Kalau ganti dari pertamax ke premium, tarikan boyo, apalagi untuk boncengan, terasa nggak ada tenaganya sama sekali, makanya air-screw harus sedikit ditutup.

Itu kalau aku loh. Sorry kalo salah.

ikutan ach...

yg aq tau sich pilot jet itu untuk ngatur putaran bawah, sedangkan putaran atas itu disuplay main jet,... untuk mengetahui ukurannya pas or nggak bisa dilihat dari kepala busi, klo warnanya keputihan berarti terlalu kering, klo kehitaman berarti terlalu basah..

yang pas itu coklat kemerahan, kayak batu bata,...
tapi aq juga lom pernah bisa ketamu setingan yag pas kayak d motor2 balap..
cos klo mereka nyetingnya tuh pake alat2 canggih...

ada juga yang bisa diganti yaitu nedle jet alias jarum skep, biasanya diganti sama yg lebih pendek, biar waktu ngebuka gas dikit aja tuh jarum dah ngangkat lebih tinggi, kayak digas gede gitu...

Nih kukasi tips nyetel :

1. Oli harus cocok, supaya suara mesin dan getaran mesin tidak menutupi suara udara
2. Coba cek di buku manual atau tanya mekanik putaran pilot jet berapa (contoh u/ karisma 1,5 putaran)
3. Putaran pada 3000 - 4000 rpm, mainkan sedikit hingga suara udara dari saringan terdengar dan getaran mesin terasa halus ( getarannya tidak berasa kuat )
4. U/ main jet, ajak motor jalan2 10 menit, kecepatan 40-60 km/ jam, kemudian parkir dan standar 2.
5. Nyalankan lampu utama, kemudian mainkan main jet ke suara yg halus tapi lampu utama nyala kedip2.
6. Coba di cek businya, mestinya merah bata....
7. Silahkan praktek... :upss:
