Halo, saya baru saja ganti Camry V6 '2000 dari Masterpiece saya yang tercinta :D
mengingat harganya sekarang sedang hancur lebur :D

mau tanya2 ttg seluk beluk Camry V6

1. Compression ratio.
Compression ratio mesin Camry V6 (1MZ-FE) adalah 9.6 : 1 = pertamax plus
Bisakah saya 'mengirit' dengan mengisi bensin Premium + octane booster mengingat selisih harga Pertamax sangat banyak.
octane booster apa yang bagus ? redex ? :D STP ? pil ?
mobil apa saja yang menggunakan mesin 1MZ-FE ?
Bisakah saya meningkatkan compression ratio agar tenaga bisa sedikit terdongkrak mengingat tenaga Camry V6 agak dodol (187HP) dibanding pesaing lainnya (i.e. honda accrod V6 / Infiniti I30 = 200HP)
adakah cara lain untuk meningkatkan tenaga ?

2. Timing Belt
km sekarang 'baru' 62rb
Berapa km yang efisien untuk ganti timing belt ?
saya pernah cari2 di internet,
jawabannya sangat bervariasi,
mulai dari 60rb km sampai 200rb km
tentunya jawaban 60rb km adalah jawaban aman dan 'menguntungkan penjual spare part & bengkel' :D

3. Oli
walaupun Camry saya tahun 2000, ternyata mesinnya sama dari sejak tahun 1994
amankah diisi oli API SM / 0W30 ?
kemarin saya baca threadnya om penyu turbo ttg oli,
ternyata mesin 1MZ-FE termasuk yang rentan terhadap sludge
bagaimana caranya agar tidak terjadi sludge ?
(sekarang ngelitik.... jadi ngeri)

4. Hal-hal lain
Adakah hal-hal lain yang spesifik dari Camry V6 yang harus diperhatikan secara khusus ?
kelebihan dan kekurangan ?

IMO, 1MZ-FE ada 2 generasi:
Non VVTI dipake sama camry V6 lama, mungkin juga harrier gen1, lexus ES300 model 93-01, mungkin juga toyota previa/estima V6 lawas.
Kalo yg VVTI (210hp) dipake sama camry model mentri, toyota kluger, dan mungkin juga toyota alphard ditahun awal2nya.

Mungkin bos Satyr bisa menambahkan :D

kalo soal timing belt, biasanya mobil2 modern udah ada scheduled maintenancenya sendiri (lampu check engine bakalan nyala jika udah saatnya ganti timing belt yg berdasar pada jarak tempuh mobil).........atau kalo mao pake cara manual, mungkin sekitar 90rb-100rb KM.

Cara supaya engine engga sludge ya harus ganti oli secara teratur dan pake oli dari material berkualitas (jangan beli oli pinggir jalan yg gak jelas asal usulnya) :D

belinya camry tp kok ribut soal bensin sih bos? -_- pake pertamax aja ..ato liat user manualnya minta oktan brp. hehe

normalnya camry V6 ini 1:6,5 (matic) ga boros2 amat mengingat mesinnya ga VVT-i dan 3000 cc

camry model lama cuma 186 hp (1MZ-FE generasi awal).

oli cukup pake 5w-40 atau 10w-40

soal tenaga kalo mau mantap swap head 1MZ yg VVT-i aja biar jadi 212 hp (mayan kok) :D

timing belt pertama ganti di 80000 gpp, selanjutnya tiap 60 rb aja kalo mo aman

sori gw jg ga gitu tau kalo soal 1MZ bos. :)

water jacket dsb nya 4age & 7afe sama yah?
tinggal ganti head tuh yg punya corolla ae111, jadi "corolla GTI 1.8", teoritis bisa langsung dapat 160hp.

dapetnya 180 hp tuh secara rata2 bos

wong std nya aja 165 hp 4a-ge 20v blacktop

timing belt nya beda (mesti nyari punya porsche 924) . tp denger2 bisa pake BMW atau astina punya (dirahasiakan ama bengkel2 sini)

trus jalur oli jg berubah katanya.

lumayan ribet... dan yg jelas mesti pake ECU 4a-ge nya kalo mo bagus.. ato pake stand alone sekalian

busyeet gede amat HP nya bisa dapet 187HP, tapi kok camry 2.4L yang sekarang juga di 160 ya?

galant hiu 2500cc V6 cuma dapet 167HP.
new accord 2.4L I-4 dapet 160 , 170 , 180HP (yang terakhir).

yg 2.2 cuma 128 hp bos

camry generasi 2 itu mesinnya payah2 kok. tenang aja.

accord 2.3 malah udah 150 hp (walau tetep aja ga kenceng kalo menurut gw), yg mulai kenceng tuh accord 2.4 (160-170 hp). camry 2.4 lama jg kurang kenceng. yg baru 167 hp mulai lumayan

tp tetep aja yg 3.5 paling yahudd.. ga tau deh accord V6 3.5 gimana

kalo accord V6 lama 3.0 kan 200 hp (tetep aja lebi kenceng dari Camry) hehehe

soal harga HANCURnya .. untuk GLX 2.2 kisaran 70 jt thn 2000, grande V6 kisaran 80 jt an

hancur?? bangettttttttttt.. wakakka

accord 2000 masi 100 jt tuh VTI-L

irit sih kaga. accord 2.3 itu 1:6-7 loh (camry 2.4 itu 1:8 an)

torsi bawahnya payah tuh accord.

kalo yg 2.4 baru oke punya :D

1:6-7 itu terlalu boros, yg matic aja tidak sampai segitu koq.
varian accord 5gen & 6gen yg pakai H22A cukup disegani di eropa.

Yah sekencang-kencangnya Camry tetep aja di design untuk Comfort jadi kurang enak dibawa ngebut, tapi sejauh ini saya pakai yang 3.0V thn 2003 puas juga untuk pemakaian sehari-hari, dalam kota ok keluar kota juga ok buat nanjak karena torsi yang lumayan besar, yang punya saya juga harganya hanya tinggal 175 juta saja dari pada sakit hati dijual akhirnya saya rekondisi aja kaki2 dan mesinnya setelah itu seperti mobil baru lagi rasanya :) iseng pengen jadiin versi facelift begitu tanya headlightnya saja yg projector sudah mau 7 juta belom lampu belakang belom grillnya......gak jadi deh :(

All New Corolla Altis keren, tapi kurang 'modern' menurut gw.... lampu belakangnya Altis lama banget... gw suka semuanya, kecuali lampu belakang yg agak kurang... tapi emank Corolla selalu konservatif...

tapi satu hal yg gw suka dari Corolla: kualitas. puas gw pake Corolla...
