Saya mau nanya tentang busi.
Tolong dong teman2 jelasin tentang busi, karena blom ngerti dan saya lihat ada yang kaki 1, kaki 2 dan ada juga yang 4.
Apa sih keunggulan dan kekurangan dari masing2 jenis tersebut, trims

Why have spark plugs with multiple ground electrodes?
Every time the plug sparks, minute particles of material are worn away from the electrodes. This phenomenon is called spark erosion. This continuous process over time increases the spark plug gap between the centre and the ground electrode. This increase is permissible only within certain limits because as the gap increases, the required voltage in order to produce a spark also increases. If the gap becomes too large, misfiring will occur. This will result in reduced engine performance, increased emissions, higher fuel consumption and damage to the catalytic converter.
In order to extend the service interval of vehicles, the service life of the spark plug must be increased. Some manufacturers are fitting multi electrode spark plugs as original equipment to achieve this. Multi electrode spark plugs can have two, three or four ground electrodes depending on the service life requirement of the manufacturer.
Do multi ground electrode spark plugs provide simultaneous sparks to each ground electrode every time the plug sparks?
No. No matter how many ground electrodes the plug has, every time the spark plug fires, only one spark occurs between the centre electrode and the ground electrode which has the lowest required voltage or the least distance to travel between the centre and the ground electrode.
Is the number of electrodes linked to quality?
No. A two-ground electrode spark plug is neither better nor worse than, for example, a three-ground electrode spark plug. The essential difference is the service life. Selection of the spark plug is up to the car manufacturer and is optimized for the particular engine and the desired performance/service life.
What makes the ground electrodes wear uniformly?
The spark always occurs between the electrodes having the smallest gap. As the gap is increased by spark erosion the spark changes to another ground electrode. This process is repeated continuously during the complete service life and makes for a uniform gap and equal wear between the electrodes.
Can multiple ground electrode spark plugs be fitted to vehicles where they are not fitted as original equipment?
Due to the difference in projection and spark position, it is not recommended to fit multi electrode spark plugs where single electrode plugs are fitted as original equipment.
Do you have to adjust the gap setting on multi electrode spark plugs?
Although it is possible to adjust the gap setting, it is very difficult and requires a special round needle type feeler gauge. For this reason, NGK multi electrode spark plugs come preset to the manufacturers recommended gap setting tolerances and no adjustment is necessary.
