Hehe mobil CHEVY sekarang memang buatan KOREA tetapi memang besi lebih tebal, mesin lebih gede, suara kabin hening dan empuk tapi ada kelemahan mesin besar dengan horsepower kecil. Tetapi sampe sekarang pemilik CHEVY tidak pernah komplain masalah durabilitynya tetapi yang paling dipermasalahkan adalah SPAREPART dan AFTERSALESnya payah. Kalo harga second sih pemilik CHEVY ga peduli toh mereka sudah tahu harga pasti akan jatuh. Yang pemilik CHEVY pikirkan hanyalah kenyamanan saja.
Saatnya konsumer lebih kritis.....beli sesuai dengan hati nurani...biarpun bermerek tapi mahal tidak sesuai harga.....dan jangan pernah dibohongin dengan alasan2 yang aneh lagi.....go konsumer Indonesia

memang kalo dipikir2, GM juga gak mungkin me-rebadge merek mobil lain dengan merek chevy tanpa kualifikasi yg cukup ketat. setidaknya harus masuk standard GM lah

Yup. itu sih dah pasti.
Saatnya konsumer lebih kritis.....beli sesuai dengan hati nurani...biarpun bermerek tapi mahal tidak sesuai harga.....dan jangan pernah dibohongin dengan alasan2 yang aneh lagi.....go konsumer Indonesia

IMHO, Itu bukan "mobil lain" koq.. :D Setau gw udah 100% owned by GM. Dan Korea sekarang udah jadi salah satu pusat pengembangan powertrain nya GM terbesar tiga di luar USA. Yg pertama dan kedua di Eropa dan Amrik Latin (Bra or Mex). Thn 2005, "Daewoo edisi baru " itu diexport 1.5 juta unit lebih ke Eropa, USA dan ASIA (dikit)... :e-dance:

statement diatas bukan hanya ditujukan untuk merek Daewoo saja, tapi lebih kepada statement yg menegaskan bahwa GM gak bakalan main2 dengan re-branding/re-badging memakai merek dagangnya, terutama dgn model2 serupa tapi tak samanya......, merek manapun itu........termasuk toyota dengan matrixnya (Toyota Matrix = Pontiac Vibe)

SATURN VUE.... '07 masih menggunakan platform yang sama dengan Chevy Equinox (Theta), mulai '08 menggunakan platform DAEWOO (S3X/Captiva)

Styling

I'm of a mixed mind concerning the exterior styling. At first I hated it. The proportions are odd, with tall fenders and bodysides beneath a swoopy (some might say pinched in) greenhouse. A tall, thin riff on the currently fashionable fender vent further accentuates the vertical dimension. Because of these proportions, the new VUE looks much smaller than it actually is, even toy-like. Or, if you want to be especially uncharitable, pudgy.

Then I realized that some people, and especially women, might perceive the roly-poly shape as "cute and friendly." So I conducted the most scientific of investigations: I asked my wife, owner of a "cute and friendly" PT Cruiser. The verdict: "cute and friendly."

I suppose I should mention that the new VUE's basic platform was developed by Daewoo, GM's Korean subsidiary, and that this specific version was styled and tweaked by Opel, GM's German subsidiary. The main thing distinguishing the VUE from the Opel Antara is the use of Saturn badges in place of Opel ones. Yes, GM has truly gone global. So what what have here is "cute and friendly," courtesy of Korean engineers and a German design studio.

I should also mention that the new VUE's body is constructed of steel. The widely-gapped dent-resistant plastic panels that used to distinguish Saturns as "a different kind of car?" Gone.

The original Saturn VUE was heavily criticized by reviewers (including myself) for having a cheap-looking and -feeling interior. Scads of pebbled hard plastic just didn't measure up. Although the interior was upgraded through the years, it never escaped this stigma.

The new Saturn VUE's interior makes use of hard plastic, but not as much of it, and what is present has been styled to provide a moderately upscale vibe. The fits are tight, and just about everything feels solid. Some high-touch surfaces, like the door-mounted armrests, are thinly padded. This might well be the nicest interior in the segment. Others come across as more plasticky.

The styling of the interior is more conservative than that of Saturns past. No ungrained hard plastic surfaces covered in raised dots. No centrally-mounted instruments. Nothing remotely goofy here. Just restrained tastefulness, with metal-look accent trim used to keep things interesting. I suppose this is Opel's influence.

^ iya sih apalagi saturn sky modelnya keren banget......nissan 350z aja kalah cakep mukanya......
cuma saturn image nya kurang bagus kaya murahan..... :(

pontiac G8 yg bakalan gantiin pontiac grand prix ya bro? soalnya sekarang semua line up pontiac bakalan make code angka deh misal pontiac G5, G6, dan sekarang G8 :D

Eh ada CAPTIVA CBU loh dari importir umum V6 3.5cc harganya 600jtaan. Mungkin saja dia beli dari IMPORTIR UMUM.
Saatnya konsumer lebih kritis.....beli sesuai dengan hati nurani...biarpun bermerek tapi mahal tidak sesuai harga.....dan jangan pernah dibohongin dengan alasan2 yang aneh lagi.....go konsumer Indonesia

wew.. 600jt, ga kemahalan tuh? Mungkin aja sih, mungkin CBU dari negara non-asean dan mesin kapasitas besar membuat pajaknya jauh lebih tinggi daripada versi 4 cylindernya dan featurenya pasti lebih lengkap dari versi ATPMnya, but is it worth it?

Untuk traffic indo, mesin V6 jarang bener2 kepake tenaganya, malah yang ada borosnya lebih kerasa :roll: beda sama nyetir di luar yang untuk jalanan biasa aja, speed limit 50km/h terasa pelan, dan mereka banyak highway jg, tidak seperti di kita yang jalan tol jg macet.

For 600 million, i think there are better choices out there..

Jangan-2 sekolah desain mobil seperti Pasadena Art Center atau yang lainnya sudah menggunakan wizard. Jadi tinggal menjawab pertanyaan-2 :
Lubang A/C berapa ?
Tengah berapa ?
Samping berapa ?
Model lingkaran / persegi ?
Model kisi-2 / sirip besar / kecil ?

Jadi hasil yang keluar dari wizard itu... pastinya mirip-2.....

Kalau ada kesempatan, coba lihat-2 dashboardnya Nissan Serena dengan Toyota Noah / Voxy.... pada waktu pertama kali lihat.. bayangan saya itu produk-2 off the shelf / OEM....

Mungkin yang kasih ide / perancang wizard nya... orang-2 dari perusahaan penyewaan mobil AVIS-HERTZ-CIPAGANTI .. jadi mereka tidak perlu menerangkan cara pemakaian kepada semua penyewa.... Tapi yang sampai sekarang belum bisa didapat titik temu ialah.. tuas signal (lampu sen) dikiri dan dikanan (Mobil Euro Vs Asia)... yang pasti juga setir kiri dan setir kanan. heheheheee... ada yang tahu engga ... di Philipine itu setir kiri atau kanan sih ????

Sebenernya tuas signal buat mobil2 eropa&amerika untuk pasar setir kanan harusnya berada di sebelah kanan (disamakan dengan mobil2 jepang yang setir kanan), cuma saya rasa pihak pabrik males robah2 posisi tuas. Soalnya mobil2 Jepang yang setir kiri, posisi tuas signalnya juga di kiri, ga di kanan seperti yang versi setir kanan. Kelebihan produsen Jepang, mereka bisa "adaptasi" dengan pasar lokal, dari penjualan produk2 yang berdasarkan market demand di pasar tersebut sampai ke detail2 kecil seperti tuas lampu signal, jadi orang amerika/eropa yang biasa menggunakan mobil produk mereka sendiri ga akan kebingungan saat menggunakan mobil jepang.

Btw, Phillipine pake setir kiri, udah saya cek lagi di http://www.toyota.com.ph avanza mereka jg setir kiri..
