There's no stopping Honda this year with its environmentally friendly products. After unveiling the FCX hydrogen-powered fuel cell car at Tokyo, Honda has now designed an alternative energy source for the home.
The Home Energy Station III supplies your home with heat and electricity, as well as fuel for a hydrogen-powered vehicle.
Using natural gas it creates enough hydrogen to power a fuel cell vehicle for a day, while providing electricity for an average-sized household.
It also comes in handy when there's a power cut, acting as a back-up power source, by using hydrogen stored in tanks to power an internal fuel cell. Clever, eh?
