Citroen concept hints at next Pluriel
Citroen is showing the Italians a thing or two about style at the Bologna Motor Show with its C-Airplay concept car.
Designed by Brit Mark Lloyd, the C-Airplay points the way for the next Pluriel, with a centre roof section that retracts to leave a Targa-style convertible.
Inside, the C-Airplay borrows the C4's fixed-hub steering wheel design and mounts all of the instruments in the middle of the steering boss.
There are also interior lights set into the middle of the bench front seat.
The C-Airplay is shorter than a C2 and uses a 110bhp 1.6-litre engine with SensoDrive sequential manual gearbox. It also has Citroen's Stop & Start technology to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
