New Mercedes-Benz R-Class
Mercedes has confirmed that its new R-Class range will reach showrooms next spring.

The new six-seater car has been developed to provide a 'wholly new motoring experience' - essentially by building a practical people mover that looks good, goes well and offers a bit of style.

At 5157mm long, the R-Class is luxury saloon-sized, but those MPV proportions mean much more versatile luggage space. Each of the six chairs offer enough room for an adult, and four can be folded flat for cargo.

Engine options range from a 224bhp V6 up to the range-topping 306bhp V8 - capable of 152mph and reaching 60mph in less than seven seconds. A six-cylinder diesel also joins the line-up, offering 376lb ft torque and an average fuel consumption of 30.4mpg.

All engines use Merc's 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted manual selection, while four-wheel drive will also be a standard feature. Electronically controlled air suspension will be available as an option.

Other extras available include a panoramic sunroof, a multi-zone climate control system (dual-zone is standard), 19-inch alloys and a DVD player with screens for rear passengers.

Perpaduan antara sedan dan MPV, jadi mirip Odys donk. Merc sekarang ngga di sedan aja, mulai merambah ke kelas laen nih. Gud Job Merc !
