Is this model going to be the same as the Altis replacement? Looks pretty good to me.

The front has a design cue from the Avensis...

It intrigues me that Toyota is going conservative for the 10th gen Corolla and sporty for the 5th gen Camry. What are they trying to achieve, I wonder...

It has the Avensis's grill, but I think the crease in its hood, its headlamp and side profile looks more sporty. Btw, I think it looks more proportional (and practical) than the new Civic shown in the geneva show.

Not fair, Mr. Observer. You're comparing a Corolla sedan's rear passenger space to a Civic hatchback's?
Corolla has a hatchback version too, you know.

And Civics have been historically more sportier than Corollas, both handling-wise and design-wise. Besides, I can't see why you think that rendition of the new Corolla is 'sporty', I think it's very conservative. You can see it from the profile, very old school 3-box saloon with upright windshield, whereas the Civic has a more steeply raked windshield.

But to be far, let's wait until both the official pictures of the new Corolla and Civic sedans are available, and then we can start a discussion of their designs...

One more thing. Civic generasi sekarang, di baris kedua sudah tidak punya 'gundukan' transmission tunnel, jadi lebih lega untuk 5 orang penumpang belakang.

Last time I checked, Civic is the only sedan with such feature, and a Corolla still has one..

Civic Hatchback concept sepertinya memang dibuat Honda dengan konsep coupe kedalam hatch........

kalo 4-door saloon-nya sih bercita rasa sporty.............

Kalo Corolla......dari dulu desainnya selau "bermain aman"........bahkan untuk basis Corolla WRC sekalipun................

Tampaknya Toyota lebih melekatkan image "sedan keluarga yg elegan" dari pada SPORT FAMILY SEDAN seperti halnya Mazda3.......

Ini generasi ke-9, bung Edward. Sama persis dengan Altis, hanya berbeda lampu depan belakang.
