The 3 Series range is set to expand with the introduction of a powerful 335i - an M3 understudy - and a flagship 335d.

Both cars are due later this year and will probably be launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The 335d will feature the 5 Series' much-acclaimed 3-litre diesel engine with two-stage turbo charging.

This engine delivers a maximum output of 200 kW and, more importantly, 560 Nm of torque at 2 000 r/min, with 500 Nm available at just 1 500 r/min.
It will propel the 335d from standstill to 100 km/h in about six seconds.

Two-stage turbo charging resolves the conflict of "turbo lag" when accelerating hard at low engine speed and increases the availability of power at higher engine revs.

The first turbocharger provides an almost instant kick of turbo pressure at low engine speeds while the second turbocharger cuts in at higher engine speeds to boost power throughout the higher rev range.

sebenar nya menurut saya dalam hal peforma bensin juga bisa nyamain diesel.asal cc nya sama,dan sama2 turbo charger.

cuman kalah nya ntar di konsumsi bensin nya yang bakalan boros dan mahal perawatan kekekekeke.

Di Eropa memang gitu, diesel laku berkaitan dengan isu lingkungan. Lagian dieselnya kan bersih, ga keluar asap hitam. . .

Menurut penelitian yg saya baca dulu,
mesin bensin kurang ramah lingkungan dibanding diesel, tapi lebih baik buat manusia dibanding efeknya diesel. . .

Jadi menurut saya, sebelum mobil2 ganti jadi electric atau hybrid. . .(bahkan mungkin juga ga begitu ramah lingkungan)

This BMW 330 for me is the best car from BMW. I like its performance and most importantly I like the parts installed on this one.
