Honda Estilo Daily Driver (pakai sehari-hari)

Misi agan...newbie nih mau nanya, kalo honda estilo jadi daily driver reliable nga yah? Saya tau kok kalo beli yang tahun awal harus ganti radiator biar nga overheat cuman masi agak takut aja soal pengennya estilonya nga jadi garage queen wkwkwkwkw. So guys...reliable kah? Thank you in advance yah :)

mobil usia 20an taon definitely perlu restorasi total om kl mau sehat... nah kl ud sehat sehh, dipake sehari2 mustinya gapapa...

perihal estilo overheat, ganti radiator nya jd 2 ply... ADR ad jual tuh...

akur dengan oom klep... mobil sudah 20thn lebih harus banyak diperhatikan.

Paling utama : karet-karet termasuk paking-paking itu sudah wajib hukumnya ganti walaupun gak ada rembesan, siapa tau rembesannya malah ntar tiba-tiba muncul pas dipake berabe deh. Saya di bengkel beberapa kali nemuin mobil yang usianya 10-an taun juga pada rembes itu olinya... belom kelistrikan macem kabel-kabel dan soket-soket...

Engine tune-up, setel klep, dan restorasi kaki-kaki, dah jadi mobil yang enak buat harian :big_love:

Beli mobilnya sih udah 100jutaan sendiri tergantung kondisi, restore nya mungkin bisa 20-30juta-an...

Mobil tua gini tergantung usaha, niat, dan duit buat ngerawatnya, hehehe.

nah itu... harga "bahan" nya aj ud d atas 70an jt... kl mint bsa ampi 90-100 jeti... padahal restorasi nya aj kayanya ga ampe stengah nya... D series enjin non vtec... simple...

Waahh thank u yah om DOHC sama om Chz btw mau nanya lagi kalo bengkel wani matic reccomended nga soalnya mau convert dari mt ke matic biar nyaman and kuat lawan mct hehehehe

IMO worthed lah oom. Sebagai gambaran saya pakai accord maestro '91 buat harian no problem juga, mobil tua bangka tapi enak aja kok buat daily driving.

Betul kata om om diatas, beli mobil tua mending investasi keluar duit banyak di depan buat restorasi tapi enak dipakai di kemudian hari. Waktu ambil dulu saya habis hampir 20 jeti, tapi worthed dg hasil yg didapat.

Budget segitu dipake buat turun mesin, kaki kaki termasuk ban, dan urut ulang kelistrikan.

So far problemnya sih gaada, yg ada nyaman aja pakai harian. Harusnya estilo juga sama om, kalo di awal udah diremajakan menyeluruh, ga kalah sama mobil2 baru.

kalau saya sih langsung masukin eithher mesin k24 atau b18c :mky_08:
anyway estilo sih reliable kok, cuman yah ball joint aja ringkih kalau mobil honda fwd
radiator kalau masih bagus pake standard aja

@htannis hahahaha nice idea bro :) cuman saya mau estilonya standar bgt wkwkwkwk. Nga berani engine swap takutnya reliabilitynya turun :(
Planning modifnya sih cuman ganti velg oem jazz vtec sama palingan ganti bolt on exhaust :)

enjin honda K24 dan B18 sehh termasuk top of the line enjin honda om... bahkan yg B series ini ckup superior ktmbang D series nya original estilo...

enjin K24 honda sehh ud terbukti bandel om... dari jaman crv taon 2002 ampe accord skrg aj masi pake ini mesin... d luaran malah lebi extreem lg, naek kompresi, bore up, dll dsb dkk nya... ampe banyak yg cangkok turbo sgala...

B18 jg dtanya... cast iron enjin blok, ud ga keitung lg d thailand sana yg naek turbo...

manual ama matic sehh tergantung kondisi gearbox nya om... kl sehat yahh mustinya kuat2 aj utk daily driving... tp utk soal reparasi sehh gearbox manual tetep lebi murah dari matic... bole konsul ke mods imsus yg perna overhaul total matic oddysey nya... lmayan mahal dan rempong sehh..

btw, seinget ane manual nya estilo mirip ama genio kan yahh... malah dl parts kopling nya sering di subtitusi buat cityZ scara kopling genio estilo jauh lebi tolerable dan enteng utk stop n go ktimbang bawaan cityZ yg cenderung lbi keras..

@ mouthy : perihal kopling estilo, itu cuman hasil ngobrol2 ane dl waktu d bengkel HC nyervis ferio ane puluhan abad silam... tp ane dl perna swap mobil ama sodara ane punya cityZ, bagi ane itu kopling nya masi moderate koq, apanja lebi keras, ipah malah juara nya keras... jd yah berarti estilo (mungkin) enteng banget...

soal wani matic, ane ga tau om, mobil matic ane d rumah cuman satu dan itu jg blm perna overhaul...

Dripada convert manual ke matic mendingan cri mbl yg ud matic bro, ga cuman ribet kerjainnya. Yang pasti hasil dri ubahan bengkel beda dibanding sama dari pabrikan

Dlu gw perna pake estilo pas tahun 2008, beli second bekas balapan badan ud keropos pkokny kondisi uda menyedihkan deh, gonta ganti sini situ byk bgt keluarnya

Mau cari yang mint jg gw ga yakin mobil 23 tahun-an kondisi bisa bagus, dlu aja problemnya sering di ac kalo ga salah

Btw koplingnya uda enteng, pake biasa jga ga pegel sih macet"an

Total cost na ada kemungkinan bs dpt mbl yg lbh muda, kec emang tekad da bulat mw nya estillo, brp pun costnya.

EG5 dari dulu sudah budget dream car wkwkwkwk also kapan lagi bisa dapet 2 door sport car below 200jt hahaha

Wani matic,sy pernah overhaul matic 307sporty disana, hsl bbrp bln kemudian break down lg. Utk euro car yg punya specific karakter di at nya, apalagi yg dah pk ecu transmisi ngga sy rekomen kesana.
Klo utk jepang yg lbh common/general sy pikir msk ok lah.
Sy lbh saranin mas, utk conversi k spesialist honda, tempt anak2 club pd bw mbl nya ato ngga ke workshop speed tuning yg ada di jkt. Treatmentnya lbh specific n t'ukur.

Ane komporin ah biar kendor niatnya wkkkkkkk
Di range hrg 150 k bwh bs dpt
Audi A3 8p chasis 1.6 mt 2 doors 2004 cbu jerman
Golf gti mk4 1.8T 2001-2003 Mt turbo sunroof cbu

Krn mt, msh cukup reliable dr yg at. Ntar ane guide dah cr rawatna wkwkwk.......

Ngga ketuaan tuh....sayangloh keluar duit segitu dptnya ferio, di jalanan presence/standingnya ngga diperhatiin org. Ngga Cb ambil yg diatasnya VTIs 2002 an, model lbh ok, budget jg masuk.

*btw di luar honda, klo ngga salah suzuki swift n sx-4 ada jual yg paket hks turbo. Kerjasama suzuki n hks.
Tahun jg lbh muda 2007/2008 an afaik.
