Today, we can share with you the two first official pictures of the pro_cee’d GT version, the more sporty version in the cee’d era. Hit the jump to see all the pics and stay tuned!
As far as we knew, the GT were planned on the sporty Pro_Cee’d only, but apparently a 5-door version will be available as well. Fitted with a 1.6-liter, T-GDi unit seen on the Veloster Turbo and a 6-speed manual transmission, it’s good for 204 hp and an expected 0-100 km/h in about 7.9 s.
The new Kia pro_cee’d GT and cee’d GT – the brand’s most performance-focused production cars ever – will enjoy their world premieres at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show on 5 March.
Designed in Europe under the direction of President and Chief Design Officer, Peter Schreyer, the two debutants feature bold athletic styling, distinctive LED daytime running lights, dual-exhaust pipes, Recaro seating, 18-inch alloy wheels and eye-catching red brake calipers.
The new turbocharged 1.6-litre GDI petrol engine will produce 204 PS (201 bhp) and 265 Nm (195lb/ft), powering the front wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and allowing the Kia pro_cee’d GT and cee’d GT to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 7.9 seconds.
Production of the newest members of the latest generation cee’d family is scheduled to start at Kia’s Žilina plant in Slovakia in mid-May. The pro_cee’d GT is anticipated to go sale in the UK from the middle of the year and be joined by its cee’d GT counterpart towards the end of 2013.
Prices and specifications will be confirmed closer to the on-sale dates.

Mungkin kalau didesain tanpa grille which means menyatu grillnya dengan bagian desain bumper, kayaknya bakal lebih gahar...

Ngarep sih masuk Indo. Jd pilihan hatchbacknya ga cuma Rio aja. Hyundai Veloster jg bagus dan unik, sisi pintu driver cuma satu, yg sisi satunya lagi dua pintu. Modelnya sporty spt Honda CR-Z. Cuma sayang ga dipasarin sama HMI.

- German car magazine AutoBild tested the Kia Cee'd during 100,000 km. Just a few flaws, ranked as high.[18]
- France’s motoring publication L’Automobile Magazine, The Kia Cee’d won a 2009 quality/reliability survey in the compact-car category.[19]

Designernya kan dari Audi, jd mirip2 dan lebih European looks.
Boljug kalau hrgnya miring dan featurenya lengkap. Misal kelasnya Civic, Focus, Corolla, tp mesinnya 1.6L Turbo aja jd hrg bisa dirange 250an. Ngarep mode: ON
