broo all.. mau tanya nih.

ada yang udah pernah coba kampas rem merek BENDIX belom ya?? yang katanya dipake juga buat pesawat... bagus gk ya kira2? makan disk kgk sih ya???? kalo pesawat aja bisa berenti apa lgi mobil ya... pasti mantappp..

ane pake mar... dulu di panther... abrasif sehhh ke disc brake nya, di disc nya jadi ada alur2 yg dalem gt... tapi respon ke pedal sehh agak enak... lebi keras dan terasa solid gt pas nginjek nya...

wlp pake yg ori, tetep aja di disc nye ada alur2.......krn disc terkena kotoran spt debu, pasir dll......

kalo uda bunyi kaya metal ketemu metal tapi kalo diintip masi tebel dan warning plate nya blom kena ke disc nya... kira2 knapa tuh mar..... :e-think: :e-think: :e-think: :e-think:

kemungkinan kering ato ada kotoran, shg bisa bunyi......coba dibuka, kmd diamplas padnya.... mudah2an bisa ilang bunyinye......

prop sjam, skalian nanya nehh... kalo ganti pad rem gt apa perlu skalian ganti seal kit nya... mobil nya ipah ama livina om.... soalnya kalo di panther ane dulu kan ritual nya musti kaya gt, ganti pad rem musti skalian ganti seal kit, kalo ga yahh pasti ga lama kemudian bakal macet tuh rem nya, trus bakal ngengunci terus pad rem ama disc nya....

HAH, serius klep?? kalo ganti kampas rem musti ganti seal kit?????
selama ni ane ganti kampas rem ya kampas rem aja gk usah ama seal kitnya sih. aman2 aja kok.

yah itu hoki2an jg sehh mar... kadang gpp, kadang malah jadi bocor atau worst case nya yahh malah bikin gerakan piston nya jadi stuck gt... kalo ane seh uda 2 kali kejadian kaya gt makanya dulu si panther tiap kali ganti pad rem skalian ganti seal nya jg....

seal nya uda getas atau elastisitas nya uda menurun karena tiap ari terpapar panas tinggi dari pengereman.... sifat karet yg melar dan kering kalo kena panas lama2.... stelah karet nya getas atau mati, dia leaking atau sobek.... gerak piston jadi ga bener, atau malah jadi stuck kena karet seal yg uda sobek... pad rem ketekan terus ke disc.... disc jadi panas atau overheat....

penyebab :
- kualitas seal yg jelek
- perawatan rem yg ga teratur
- pemasangan piston caliper rem yg ga bener
- ada ilmu gaib yg bekerja
- anda kurang beruntung dpt spare part abal2

kalo yg ente jelasin kan itu mank karena umur pemakaian klep, nah kalo yang tiap ganti kampas rem dibarengin ganti seal kit.

klo ga ada masalah, ga perlu diganti bro..... kecuali ada masalah, misalkan minyak rem sering berkurang baru diganti...... nah, spt yg nt ceritakan, mungkin perawatan remnya kurang teratur nih, shg bisa merusak seal kitnya..... untuk menghindari hal ini, sebaiknya minyak rem dikuras secara teratur, misalkan tiap 10 ato 20 rb km..... spy rem bisa bekerja dg baik...... n jangan lupa, klo ganti minyak rem harus dg merk yg sama.... jadi ga boleh dicampur dg merk lainnya, wlp ada tulisan netral.....

Om ada pengalaman nih ganti kampas rem city ane..Dari teknisinya bilang lebih baik ganti tuh sealnya..Daripada bongkar 2 kali kalau ada apa2 sama sealnya :frm_tumbright: :frm_tumbright: Selain itu sealnya otomatis udah berkurang bgt kemampuannya lha wong siti ane hampir 100rebu km pasti sealnya udah agak2 getas..

setau saya sih ganti kampas rem tidak harus sekalian ganti karet seal, karena karet seal punya jadwal perawatan tersendiri. Untuk mbl manual umur kampasnya cenderung lbh awet, makanya wajar kalo waktu ganti kampas rem banyak yg dibarengi dng ganti seal krn saat kamps rem tsb habis jarak tempuh yg dicapainya sudah tinggi, keadaan berbeda dng mbl matic, umur kampasnya lbh pendek krn cepet aus (padahal jarak tempuhnya lbh rendah), kalo misalkan harus ganti karet seal juga kan jadi gak efisien :D

tapi itu kembali ke user mbl masing2, kalo mau lbh preventif dng itu akan lbh bagus :frm_tumbright:

Bbrp alternatif di pasaran juga ada Trestor, Nissei, dll.

Brake Pad yg kemampuan lebih tinggi memang ada mengikis disc rotor lebih cepat dr yg ori, krn lebih menggigit, tapi sepadan dgn perbaikan kinerja rem-nya.

Cari yg type Organic aja (high performance - street use), jadi ngikis disc rotor-nya juga masih moderate.
