Kadar sulphur @ solar vs Catalytic Conv mobil Diesel

Dear all

Since awal 2007 mobil2 Diesel yg dijual di Indonesia harus comply dgn Euro II &
dilengkapi Cat Conv.

Tetapi standard batasan kadar sulphur BBM solar di kita hingga hari ini masih
3500 ppm, jauh di atas standard Euro II = 500 ppm

Apa yg terjadi dgn Catalytic Converter jika dia dihadapkan dgn BBM bersulphur
tinggi ?

So kesimpulannya :
Jika kadar sulphur BBM masih di atas 500 ppm, yg terjadi : element Cat Conv pelan2 akan teracuni / terdegradasi oleh senyawa SO2 dari gas buang hasil pembakaran BBM ber sulphur di atas 500 ppm.

Dan ironisnya juga belum ada mandatory batas sulphur max. 500 ppm, dimana sebetulnya bisa dimulai pada solar non subsidi terlebih dahulu.

saya liat spesifikasi bbm Solar subsidi & Petronas Diesel kok mirip2 yah? apa bener speknya begitu? :e-think: :e-think: berarti keduanya sami mawon dong... :roll:

Petronas Diesel & Total Diesel konon kadar sulphur konstant di 1000 - 1150 ppm.

Kalo Biosolar katanya sih 500 ppm......tapi ane kok ragu yah....hehehehehehe

Drpd pusing kalo suatu hari Cat Conv mampet krn jelaga = ganti aja pake down pipe yg plong

Gasoline di kita kadar Olefin-nya gak pernah di expose.......tanya kenapa :mrgreen:

Standard Euro II or more mensyaratkan kadar olefin @ Gasoline Max. 18%.......konon di kita Olefin @ premium jauh di atas 20%.........Olefin ini biang kerok terjadinya kerak.

Belum lagi Timbal yg konon belum benar2 hilang.........data terakhir dr th 2007 :

mau tanya, mobil2 diesel di indonesia seperti innova, captiva, everest, dll, ada catalytic converternya nggak om? kalo ada berarti riskan rusak dong ya..

Semua mobil Diesel yg dijual since awal 2007 ada Cat Conv. including Panther Euro II & truk truk 3/4 Euro II.

bawa aja ke bengkel knalpot en ganti dgn pipa plong......kalo di Ipah dia nempel ama Down pipe, tinggal ganti DP nya. Biasanya CC jadi 1 ama DP, kalau DP nya pendek banget dia ada di pipa sesudah DP.

Yg jelas sebelum element-nya tergerus oleh SO2, si CC akan mampat dulu oleh jelaga.......ini sgt sering terjadi.........nah saatnya dicopot dah.......

Emisi gas buang jadi lebih berpolusi ? Cat Conv yg udah terdegradasi juga nggak bisa berbuat apa2........so sami mawon......

Emisi gas buang juga akan sgt tergantung bagaimana kita mengemudi, jika kita ber hypermile maka emisi gas buang akan lebih kecil drpd bejek2 gas.

Coba diliat aja um, kalo di down pipe-nya ada bagian menggelembung & dekat dgn Turbo nah berarti CC jadi 1 ama DP.

Mungkin kalo ga keberatan um Hansen bisa bantu potoin en posting di sini.

Diesel Euro II / III sih CC nya full passive, ga ada sensor2-nya, no worries, kalo dicopot ga akan bikin lampu check engine nyala.......

Ya, sebab boost akan naik lebih cepat krn wastegate lebih lambat membukanya.

Buat detilnya bisa kita lanjutkan di thread ttg PS atau japri atau ke mesin-diesel.dinogroups.com juga boleh......sebab ini udah OOT thd judul utama. :mrgreen:
