short review 520i E39 M54

exterior : timeless
interior : full leather seat, sampe ke doortrim, softpad dimana-mana, NO Wood panel
fitur : Less electrical, AC knob putar, jok manual, ga ada electric krey, ga ad cruise control,, sedih sih, tp lumayan buat NGURANGIN kemungkinan RUSAK

engine : i6 170hp, 210nm, cukup lah buat nanjak di cipularang @140 kpj, 0-100 msh bs 10 detik, mayan buat mobil seumur anak SMP,, oh ya, kalo M54 engine udah throttle by wire, jd pedal gas enteng

comfort : cukup lah, ngga keras, ngga empuk, PAS,, kekedapan kabin, CUKUP, krn klo terlalu kedap, ga bs denger nyanyian engine

Handling : RWD, perfect balance even in high speed, lot of feedback, nginjek batu/lobang kecil aja bisa berasa di setir loh,, cuma kalo parkir xtra hati2, krn mobilnya panjang,,

transmisi : adaptive steptronic, ZF 5hp, menurut saya cukup pinter, kalo dibanding sama mobil2 skrg yg harga <300jt,, ada sport mode dan manual, shifting halus dan tepat waktu, mis: nanjak fly over, shift down sebelum kehabisan tenaga, jd ga kagetan, kick down responsive, apalagi di sport mode, shifting-nya pas jarum nyentuh RED-line

FC : 1:6 macet parah, 1:8 kombinasi, 1:14 cruising di tol @100kpj @1800rpm

maintenance : siapin 1 juta deh/bulan, blm tentu kepake

sparepart : melimpah, copotan juga banyakkk

harga part (kurang lebih) :
ball joint 1,5juta/roda, berarti x4, tapi awet
shock breaker 2,2 juta/pasang merk bilstein
oli : 6-7 liter
filter udara : 120rb
filter oli : 90rb
busi : @70rb x 6 (m52 businya lebih murah)
filter bensin : 300rb (m52 cm 130rb)
sensor abs : 850rb/roda, jrg rusak
modul abs : 7,5jt (jrg rusak)
kampas rem : 900rb u/ 4 roda merk ATE
koil : 350rb
fuel pump : 900rb, jrg rusak
sensor camshaf&crankshaft : 2jt, jrg rusak

semua perintilan electrical (power window, tombol2, spakbor, deck, plastik2, dll) biasanya lumayan mahal, mending cari copotan

yang mahal2, biasanya slow moving :
- overhaul matic 20jt
- turun mesin 7-20jt
- steering rack >15jt (kalo ga bs di-service)
- ECU/EGS 7-9 jt, copotan
- cooling system set 5jt (radiator, waterpump, thermostat, dll)

yg pasti, fast moving ga mahal,,

Double Glass untuk yang 2003-2004 om,, punya saya 2002,,

abis ngangkat mobil, siapin 20 juta deh buat jaga-jaga,

kalo bisa sih, angkat yang mesin, matic, electrical, power-steering, dan kaki2 sehat,, supaya ngga keluar duit banyak buat jajan, electrical tinggal di-scan aja, selama bukan error di general module, light check module, pasti benerin-nya ga mahal, WASPADA sama yang audio udah di modif, kalo kabel jumper sana-sini, potensi electrical error-nya bikin kesel, jadi aneh2 aja rusaknya nanti.

Bensin Ron 92 aja udah OK, kalo lg bokek skali2 campur premium gpp sih,,

kalo mesin, matic, electrical, power-steering, dan kaki2 sehat, dana 1 juta/bulan buat ngerawat aja,
mis : setelah 6 bulan, ganti oli+tune up abis 1,5jt,, sisa 4,5 juta buat disimpen, tau sendiri lah BMW tua, suka ada surprise,
paling sering sih sensor ABS dan AIRBAG, tapi nggak tiap taun rusak kok, mungkin 2 tahun sekali.

kaki-kaki mungkin mulai rusak 4 tahun sekali,
ECU, selama nggak ada kesalahan di electrical atau kerendem air, kayanya ga bakal rusak lah,
Matic, selama olinya bagus dan nggak kasar nyetirnya, konon bisa 200-300rb KM baru rusak
Engine M54, super badakkk,, M52 katanya lebih ringkih, krn. blok NIKASIL, tapi nyatanya jarang juga tuh yg rusak, extra perhatian sama cooling system aja

Iya, kl kata om ane mah jg cooling system yg perlu extra diperhatikan...

Bener bgt om, harus ada sedia dana untuk nyembuhin surprise dr mobil yg tiba2 muncul... :mky_03:

Kalo dana perbaikan pas baru ngangkat...
Jika bs dapet unit yg kondisinya udah lumayan, ya cukup sediakan 5jt an kurang...

Kalo dapet yg busuk.... siapin pohon duit dulu :mky_03:

mis : setelah 6 bulan, ganti oli+tune up abis 1,5jt,, sisa 4,5 juta buat disimpen, tau sendiri lah BMW tua, suka ada surprise,
paling sering sih sensor ABS dan AIRBAG, tapi nggak tiap taun rusak kok, mungkin 2 tahun sekali.

kaki-kaki mungkin mulai rusak 4 tahun sekali,
ECU, selama nggak ada kesalahan di electrical atau kerendem air, kayanya ga bakal rusak lah,
Matic, selama olinya bagus dan nggak kasar nyetirnya, konon bisa 200-300rb KM baru rusak
Engine M54, super badakkk,, M52 katanya lebih ringkih, krn. blok NIKASIL, tapi nyatanya jarang juga tuh yg rusak, extra perhatian sama cooling system aja
double glass maksudnya 2 lapir ya? berarti ga panas yaa..

oli matic ga perlu ganti kan bmw yaa? gpp ya?

Doble glass memang dua lapis...konon jd agak bulletproof, dan memang sangat membantu peredaman :mky_03:
