Damn... baru tadi dari Gading......... ada pameran Suzuki, Toyota dan Mitsubishi di atrium utamanya

wa coba2 swift dan yaris barengan (buat mastiin enakan mana)
dan ini review wa

swift : Driver seats (89 points) nyaman juga, stirnya jg kayaknya lebih enak
passanger seats blakang (dengan posisi mengemudi wa yg sante banget) : sempitt.........
styling nice!
Pricing : kemahalan jika di banding Yaris ( 168.5 AT )
Styling overal : ce wa lebih suka swift


Yaris : Driver seats (92 points) lebih nyaman (yg bukan leather)
Passanger seats blakang (dengan posisi mengemudi wa yg sante banget): legaaaa bangeeetttttt
styling nice also!
Pricing : pretty nice karena ada beberapa tambahan di versi S type yg swift tak punya ( 168 AT )
Styling overal : wa lebih suka yaris (tapi tetep sedikit ga sreg ama console tengah) tapi karena tadi wa uda masuk yaris jadinya ada sedikit "enlightment" buat memasukan Yaris S Limited ke daftar beli mobil

Kalau saya, setuju console / dashboard Swift lebih cantik dari Yaris yang vertical.

Tapi body styling, I'll take the Yaris any day. Dan like I said before, interior capacity, Yaris wins hands down.

Harga wise / safety wise, Yaris juga on par with Swift.

So kalau hitung pros and consnya, I yakin Yaris menang, even if like I said, Yaris itu Suzuki dan Swift itu Toyota.

setujhu dengan Sithlord, walaupun Yaris suzuki ato brand lain tetep akan terjual laris maniez :D (kayak karimun~)

btw mo nanya, bisa upgrade speedometernya Yaris ga ya kedigital? (kayak yg di vios baru).. karena wa liat yg versi eropa uda digitall

I have another happy reason to be thankful for what Toyota Thailand did to us.

By giving us the Yaris yang featurenya amat lengkap, artinya if nanti Nissan EVER ada godaan untuk ikut Toyota / Honda dan downspec safetynya di adik AUV nanti, the Yaris will FORCE them to change their mind !

Mau ngak mau Nissan HARUS juga tetap pasang semua feature di adik AUVnya nanti. Kalau ngak, gimana mau fight ama Yaris ?

Kecuali Yaris ikut Jazz dan downspec. Kalau gitu, memang ada chance Nissan juga ngak bisa tolak godaan sifat gituan. Takutnya.

THANK YOU very much Toyota Thailand ! U did all Indonesia a GREAT service ! Gue yakin Toyota Indo mau downspec, cuman U orang ngak mau pusing.

Mereka pasti bilang ama TAM " Udah lah ! Import saja barang kita apa adanya, ngak usah gini gituan. Orang pabrik kita pusing tau nanti ! Bisa saja nanti ke campur, yang di jual ke pasar kita Thailand barang lu dan vice versa. Pusing nanti ! "

Perkiraan gw untuk mencapai 180km/jam sih bisa nih.
Pasti bisa, karena Vios saja yang bodynya lebih berat dan besar bisa mencapai 180 km/h. Dan seharusnya akselerasi Yaris juga lebih unggul karena bodynya yang lebih ringan dari Vios.

Thanks ahbeng buat review singkatnya. Setidaknya kita2 yang belom sempet test drive atau liat pamerannya sudah memiliki bayangan.

Well, gw rasa emang penumpang belakang Yaris memiliki ruang yang lega sekali. Ngga usah duduk, liat dari luar juga udah keliatan lega sekali dibelakang. Waktu gw liat2 Vitz yang ada di pelataran parkir kampus gw, sempet kaget sendiri "loh koq lega banget baris keduanya ?"

Selera orang tentu berbeda2. Dulu pertama kali liat dashboard Yaris yang tombol2nya vertical emang keliatan aneh, Swift lebih elegan dan modelnya conventional. Tapi jangan salah, dengan tombol2 model Vertical justru memberikan ruang lebih sehingga terkesan lega. Dan juga pemandangan baru yang bisa menjadi daya tarik tersendiri ! Well, akhirnya setelah lama kelamaan sering liat pic-nya... gw suka juga dgn model Vertical, mungkin nantinya para rival akan mengikutinya ...

I wonder panel tengah Yaris klo mo ganti HU harus di jebolin ato ganti panelnya ya? or 2 2 nya bisa

But I don't recommend that ! I somehow ada feeling, meskipun mesinnya sama, badan Yaris lebih tinggi, bulat, dan kalah aerodynamicsnya dengan Vios.

I ngak percaya coefficient of dragnya Yaris ama Vios dekat. Pasti Yaris lebih banyak wind resistancenya.

I just don't feel safe in a Yaris at 180 km/jam...

Like mesin mobil ku ama X-Trail 2.0 sama, tapi I am quite sure X-Trail itu di 180 km/jam masih lumayan, kalau mobil I yang tinggi, sudah mulai gemetar...

Machines still cannot overcome the laws of physics and aerodynamics I guess...

CD yaris dan vios sama2 0,3 pak...dari depan mereka sama aerodinamisnya... Tapi betul kata Anda.. dengan bentuk yang bukan sedan, yaris akan menerima terpaan angin samping lebih kuat daripada vios kalo lagi kencang...

Plus Yaris yg bobotnya lebih ringan, takutnya ada efek ngambang~

tapi cmon man... mobil standard kecil tanpa di ubek2 yah jelas banyak efek minusnya, toh mobil2 imut yg available sejauh ini buat city car.. bukan buat racing car :D

kecuali klo modip sana sini nah baru deh 200 pun lewat :D

Gw belom tau nih soalnya belom ada yang ganti HU-nya, tapi gw liat sih cukup dibuka aja panelnya. Ngga perlu dijebolin ato ganti panel segala, kecuali yang versi CBU JDM.

Itu baru mantap ! Biar lebih stabil di jalan tol, ganti aja per dan shock breakernya jenis racing. Pasti lebih stabil dari VIOS dengan kaki2 standar.

pertama kali saya liat2 vitz di simprug mbl, saya merasa asing sekali dengan bentuk moncongnya, bumpernya tinggi, memakan jatah kap mesin(engine hood).....alhasil kap mesin jadi aneh....alias pendek bgt........tapi sepertinya design begitu mulai banyak di pake yah? buktinya peugeot 207 memakai model moncong serupa.........
sebetulnya design begini bagus kalau moncong mobilnya panjang.......liat aja 407, mukanya manis tapi gagah......tapi kalo di aplikasikan di mini mpv sekelas yaris & 207, menurut saya ga matching bgt.....krn moncong mereka pendek....belom lagi soal safetynya........engine hood itu merupakan salah satu kekuatan utama untuk meredam tumbukan frontal....kalo di buat kecil dan pendek, saya meragukan soal safetynya........jangan sampai seperti karimun&apv yang design rangka depannya ga jelas safetynya.....

Justru design seperti itu karena adanya regulasi Euro baru tentang safety dan more pedestrian-friendly bonnet, Mr. Ween. Coba Anda research sedikit tentang hal ini, deh. You'll understand.

kayaknya sih yaris gak lebih ringan dari vios dech... justru lebih berat dikit antara E manual dengan S limited berkisar di 1.025 kg- 1.075 kg, sedangkan vios juga antara E dengan G A/T berkisar di 1.010kg sampai 1040kg.... sama seperti jazz dibandingkan dengan city... berat total dengan spek yang sama (matik or manual) cuma beda 5 kg, cuma yang ini berat an city nya
