afaik Geely CK adalah model yg dirancang/dibuat sebelum geely membeli volvo, jadi ya begitulah rating safetynya sangat rendah mungkin krn kemampuan r&d mereka yg blm mumpuni disaat itu.cmiiw.
ingpo dr forum sebelah, memang salah satu tujuan utama geely membeli volvo supaya bisa mempercepat alih teknologi seputar safety kendaraan, tampaknya mereka menyadari kekurangan yg ada.

2010 tinggal 2 bulan lagi. Akan jadi surpris kalau Geely jadi hadir. Kadang2 jurnalis emang tidak tepat pemberitaannya.
Eniwei, saya berperasaan bahwa mobil2 Cina kedepan akan memiliki kualitas sangat baik. Mungkin perlu beberapa tahun, tapi melihat bhw mereka sangat gandrung segala sesuatu bersifat Eropa, selera pasar domestik mereka sedang meningkat. Biasanya standar industri juga akan naik dengan sendirinya.

Kami ingin memberi masukkan kepada perakit, apa saja yang harus mereka lakukan untuk mengontrol kualitas produk, †jelas Budi tentang kondisi mobil yang dites. Keenamnya menggunakan transmisi manual, 5 percepatan.
Menurut Budi, GMI sengaja tidak memasarkan versi otomatik. Ia menilai belum mulus seperti kebanyakan mobil Jepang. “Perpindahan giginya belum mulus,†beber Budi.
Wah mereka emang mengakui kualitasnya masih jauh di bawah mobil2 jepang

udah brand china disini dipandang sebelah mata, eh kualitas malah parah gitu

Tata Nano dapet brp bintang ya kalo di crash test, jangan2 lebih buruk dr Geely.There are currently 7 NCAP programs in the world: US NCAP (NHTSA), Euro NCAP, Japan NCAP, Korean NCAP (South Korea), China NCAP, Australasian NCAP and the latest programme is Latin NCAP. The car has an airbag control tell-tale (light) in the instrument panel which will be illuminated after turning the ignition key and making contact. Unfortunately there were NO AIRBAGS in this car. The tell-tale may mislead consumers.

Menurut saya Geely bagus2 aja. Tata juga bagus. Gak cuma orang Jepang yg bisa bikin mobil. Sebentar lagi juga orang Indonesia juga bisa bikin yang bagus juga.
Heran, org dari Uruguay dll aja bangga jadi orang Indonesia, kok bisa2nya ada orang Indonesia mau jadi banana pengkhianat.
