TOYOTA TO BUY GENERAL MOTOR SHARES
Japan Today 4/1/2010

As a bid to expand it's presence in the North American continent, Toyota is said to be investigating plans to buy off the General Motor shares currently being held by the United States Government. As present, General Motors is desperately in need to address reliability issues and to streamline the current business. This alliance is hoped to be able to resurrect the ailing giant.

The UAW is watching this plan intensely and is wary that anti - trust may be an issue. Insiders in GM are hushed but an inside memo approving the idea has yet to be discovered. Toyota, which is in high profile these days, may think this as a good april's fool article as any this year. In spite of this bogus fact, Toyota has yet to officially deny the plans. Further comments are expected to follow as other Japanese companies are frantic to fill increased demand as the US economy regains it's posture.
