Mesin2 Diesel mobil2 di Indo dari pabriknya gak ada EGT sensor - nya di knalpot nya
ECU bisa ambil tindakan masuk Limp mode berdasarkan bacaan sensor
kalo suhu ATF nah......ada sensornya biasanya
suhu bahan bakar juga
Andai bisa pasang EGT sensor di knalpot lalu konek ke ECU, dan kita set above x00 deg C ECU kasi warning......let say konek ke salah 1 LED di panel cluster.....akan sgt menarik
Jadi kalo Temp over, LED nyala......mantap dah (andai bisa)

Karena asumsi nya kan mesin dlm kondisi std semua sudah diperhitungkan oleh pabrik
Kecuali ada mesin2 tertentu yg Euro V comply (ada DPF nya) ane lihat ada yg pake EGT sensor dari pabriknya
tapi feeling saya ini tujuannya bukan utk orientasi performa, tapi utk baca seberapa panas suhu di sekitar DPF.......sebagaimana kita tahu saat Regenerating DPF suhu bisa sgt panas sekali
DPG regenerating = proses pembersihan DPF dgn "membakar" perticulate2 di DPF

Kita sebagai user akan sgt bahagia jika semua mesin Diesel dari pabriknya dilengkapi EGT sensor
lalu data bisa di streaming out dari OBD2......pake ELM konek ke HP misalnya.....jadi gak usah beli EGT meter lagi.......hahahahahahahha
masalahnya mobil Diesel mana di Indo yg ada sensor EGT bawaan pabrik oommmmm.......
Salah 1 mesin Diesel yg banyak sensor di exhaust yg ane pernah liat sendiri = Honda 1.6 i-DTEC di CRV baru (Thailand)........total ada 3 sensor di exhaust, salah 1 nya Lambda sensor.....entah 2 nya lagi apa......
apa yg ane sharing semata2 demi kebaikan user2 juga......demi keawetan mesin2 mobil rekan2
Ane pribadi nggak anti modif (piggy / remap).......ane juga planning mau remap mobil ane (belom tahu dimana)
Sekedar share bahwa yg namanya modif dgn naekkin horsepower (terutama di TurboDiesel) itu ada konsekuensi-nya......dan jika mesin mau awet, ada baiknya hal2 pendukung nya juga diterapkan
Sebetulnya kalo mau dibuat daftar lengkapnya nih :
- Amputasi Katalik & ganti dgn downpipe plong (krn lama2 katalik akan mampat, krn kadar sulphur solar di Indo)
- Free flow air filter (ini sih terserah, krn mungkin ada bbrp user yg seribg lewat dusty area, better AF std aja)
- ATF cooler (kecuali ANPJS / Everest 2500 TDCi yg ATF cooler bawaan pabrik dah bagus)
- Fuel cooler
- Oli full synthetic
ATF cooler sesuatu yg sgt worthed menurut ane, harga gak seberapa, bisa membuat ATF lebih awet.
Fuel cooler akan sgt terasa manfaatnya jika nyetir 2 jam lebih non stop, kinerja mesin lebih stabil

Use cat sensor, its temp probe anyway. Just need to be creative and use all the sensor potential as much as possible.
