yah kalo udah di-Formula-Race-tuned mah sama aja ga compare, apalagi spec buat formula/open-wheeler-Race/circuit/single seater oriented.
mesin honda yg dipakai Ariel-Atom (open-wheeler) juga besar, tapi ariel masih mass-product di europe.

Mass-product utk thn 90an paling top = thn1998 B18C R 1800cc standard JDM, 200ps, 170ps on wheels.
standard N/A 4valves = deliver over 111ps/litre (beats many standard forced-induction engine)

lebih besar lagi pd thn 2000; ada S2000 dgn JDM F20C (RWD) 2000cc, 250ps (world 1st mass production 9000rpm standard engine),
USDM F22C = 2200cc, 242ps (to limitation fuel spec in US).

ini aja standard N/A 4valves deliver over 125ps/litre; apalagi s2000 spoon / mugen??

In early 1998, Honda made enhancements to the Integra Type-R to make it the 98-Spec. To the engine, Honda added a stainless steel 4-1 header with detailed improvements to the camshafts, port & polish techniques and other areas. Engine power remained at 200ps but the power/torque characteristics are now improved, especially in the much needed mid-range. The max-torque is increased slightly from 18.5 kg-m to 19.0 kg-m and the max-torque point is brought down to 6200rpm (from more than 7000rpm) but there were no improvements to the low-cams portion of the power curve - an area where the B18CR is quite weak. The chassis received even further improvements; the suspension, brakes, even the tyre/rims were improved to make the 98-Spec Integra Type-R quite faster than the 96-Spec version.

All B18CRs are designed to run on RON-100 petrol which is a rather high octane requirement.

keliatan banget kalo yg paling gahar masih juga B16B
di link yg gw kasih di atas, tuh monster imut dihargain $3600
honda skrg sptnya fokus ke torque, krn dari dulu udah ga da tantangan lagi kalo main power aja (B & F series). spt mesin L-series (i-dsi), K-series (CRV, stream, accord, odissey)
power per liter N/A paling gede: stock JDM F20C s2000 thn 2000 aja = 250ps (world first std mass product rev to 9k rpm engine) = over 125ps/litre.
kalo mau spoon version lebih sangar lagi, sayang ga dpt angkanya.
cuma ada foto2nya honda spoon, spt s2000 spoon, ada info B16B spoon rev to magic 12000rpm!!! nih:

actual power may vary, honda's efficient drivetrain seems only have 15% actual power loss.

He..he oom satyr..itu pasti D16Anya agak sakit..ato laher rodanya yg agak macet(wah yg ini di Honda emang kartu mati banget)..Gw pernah ukur Estillo gw di Dyno..actual WHPnya around 99-101, 5 HP...mesin STD showroom sehat, kopling set baru.. :D Tapi emang bener, gw juga pernah dapet Genio Stock, di dyno malah cuma 85 Hp..selidik-selidik, plat kopling tipis, ma laher roda menuju almarhum..Pernah juga ngukur yg hpnya 155 (NA TUNE), di roda cuma 112 hp..he..he diambil tuyul kali yak..he..he

Setau gw dulu standarisasi rating horsepower belum jelas. khan tiap2 mesin produksi pabrik ga bisa 100% sama HPnya. Jadi data angka HP klaim pabrik pun kadang gak sesuai dengan HP on engine aktualnya, mungkin diambil rata2 ato mungkin diambil maksnya brp / bisa2 overrated. Jadi kalo pabrik klaim 150hp mungkin mesin yg kita dapat bisa kurang atau malah bisa lebih dari angka itu tergantung. bbrp persen.

Ga tau standar Honda dulu menetapkan gimana, denger2 kalo BMW selalu ngambil HP minimum yg mungkin. Sejak taun2 lalu standar SAE ditetapkan beberapa mesin jepang seperti Honda, Toyota, dll turun angka HPnya overrated.

Belum lagi power loss akibat drivetrain. belum lagi produksi jadul margin of error lebih tinggi. CMIIW.

gak tau jg bos. itu estilo jg tuh

setelah di tune n ubah2 dikit. baru dapet 109 hp on wheel
