Kalo lihat spec JDM VTEC Turbo di StepWgn & Jade RS, tenaga malah 150ps. Secara tenaga memang L-series Turbo ini sama dgn US version, tetapi masih belum confirm apakah VTEC atau bukan.
So.. conclusion mengenai apakah VTEC Turbo ini benar atau bukan, perlu di-bongkar head utk melihat apakah cam-nya ada "VTEC-Lobe" atau tidak. Jika memang ada berarti memang benar versi ASEAN pakai VTEC (beda dgn USDM), jika memang nggk ada VTEC-Lobe berarti kebohongan publik/gimmick saja.
Utk figure horsepower, di mesin turbo agak tricky, tergantung boost-nya berapa. belum bisa jadi patokan.

btul..... penasaran juga klw memang VTEC.. piteknya seperti apa yg digunakan, enjin ahon piteknya macem2 mulai dri camswitching, valve deactivation, economic cam dll.... yang pasti selama ini selalu seputar valve lift dan durasi, bukan timing/phasing(VTC). bru deh ada manfaatnya bkan badge aja.
