Well, maaf kalau sudah di post sebelum nnya, tp fifth gear UK udah ngetes berbagai macam alat penghemat bbm, dari magnet sampe yang berbasis catalyst. semuanya ternyata tidak bekerja dgn klaim (di test scientifically diatas dynotest)

So far 'alat penghemat BBM' yg saya percaya cuma ada beberapa:
1. Skyactiv
2. EfficientDynamic
3. Earthdream
4. Bluetec

Keempatnya terbukti bs bikin irit sekaligus nambah power!

Ini fifth gear edan juga ya
Octane booster ngurangin tenaga mesin

Mobil standar, diganti ban bagusan sama remap ecu malah makin boros bensin juga

Satu lagi alat penghemat bensin yg ahoyy.... enjin diesel.... lah wong 4ja1 pick up ane aj kl lg ane bejeg2 gila2an masi dpt 1: 13... irit bener dah

Untuk pemakaian harian mengemudi normal penghemat bbm yang langsung terasa efeknya bisa irit 20 % atau lebih untuk CRDI adalah piggy back macam Racechip, Smartchip, Dastek, dll. Saya sudah buktikan di fortuner VNT dan Captiva diesel. Selain irit ternyata tenaga juga nambah lumayan banyak (sebagai bonus).

yup octane booster ternyata tidak sesuai klaim pabrikan yah.. high octane fuel sih di test juga sama mereka, dan emang ngaruh sama power mesin klo mesinnya emang mendukung.

Start-stop system gak sesimple hidup-matikan mesin secara manual.
Posisi silinder saat idle aja dah dirancang sedemikian rupa, motor starternya juga khusus (ISS System Honda Bike).
Sistem charge accu juga beda dari mesin biasa (EfficientDynamic BMW).
Pabrikan gak bodoh saat riset sistem ini.

Walaupun...
Di kondisi lalu lintas Indo yang heavy stop and go ini Start-Stop-System memang kurang ampuh bwt lawan borosnya konsumsi BBM.

di jakarta suhu yg terlalu panas ini sih yang bikin start stop system nya ga bisa mati terlalu lama.... (karena kan harus maintain suhu dalam kabin).. mungkin klo tinggal di pegunungan macam bandung yang dingin apalagi di malam hari mungkin bisa lebih lama tuh stop engine nya...

pasti jg para pembuat mobil jg mikir efek terhadap aki.. battery charge capacity jg di monitor, kalau belum ke charge jg pasti ngga akan dimatiin otomatis itu mesinnya.....

eh iya itu acnya gimana mau dingin ya kalau make start stop engine
di test fifth gear mobil otomatis nyala kalau akinya butuh diisi

Kl di mobil saya ASS maksimal matikan mesin 60 detik.
AC tetap dingin karena kompresor ambil tenaga dari accu.
Kapasitas accu-nya sendiri lebih besar dari mobil kebanyakan.
Jadi, gak betul kl ASS aktif AC ikut mati atau cuma nyala fannya aja.
