Poin + buat Corolla gen ini bentuknya...kalo buat saya 11-12 dengan Civic facelift dari segi tampang.

Focus sedan fitur lengkap tapi bentuk gak bagus. Reliability Ford juga masih rada2. Impreza bagus tapi bengkel minim.

2ZR-FE
The Toyota 2ZR-FE is a DOHC, 16-valve, 1.8 L (1797 cc)/(1798 cc)[2] engine also equipped with Dual VVT-i. This new engine is now replacing the 1ZZ-FE engine in most applications. Output for this engine is rated at 98–100 kW (132–134 hp) at 6000 rpm and 174 N·m (128 lb·ft) of torque at 4400 rpm for the Corolla, Matrix, and Vibe and 95 kW (128 hp) and 171 N·m (126 lb·ft) of torque in the Scion xD.

2ZR-FAE
The Toyota 2ZR-FAE is a DOHC, 16-valve, 1.8 L (1797 cc) this engine adopts the Valvematic system. This all-new engine is progressively replacing the 1ZZ-FED and 2ZR-FE engine in most applications. Output for this engine is rated at between 105 kW and 110 kW and 173 N·m and 179 N·m of torque. Compression ratio is 10.5:1 and redline is at 6600 rpm. The engine consumes 5 - 10% less fuel than the 2ZR-FE depending on application.[3]

Gak ada satu pun yg nyebutin 151 ps (111 kw atau 149 hp) dan 19.4 kgm (190 Nm) kyk di berita2 launching itu...

Hihi.. Mesin nav1 (valvematic) lebih canggih dibanding new corolla altis (dual vvti)?

Btw... Googling2, mesin toyota tetap no1 dari sisi durability.. Tapi kok kesannya keterlaluan konsumen dikasih teknologi jadul. Torsion beam, bahkan teknology matic cvt nya (again sy cm modal browsing) itu oleh gm udah dari sejak 90 an..

Imho semua punya penggemarnya, kalau nggak
, gak mgkn lah corolla jd mobil paling laku sepanjang masa sejagad.

Tapi yg mengganggu informasi 151 ps 190 nm itu.. Mudah2an toyota memang gak bohong...dan kalau benar, berarti indonesia memang spesial, sampai mesin aja beda dgn belahan dunia lain.

Corolla di Indonesia rata2 emang dapet varian mesin yg gede kan... :ungg:

Contoh di ANC '00, altis gen1, gen2, disini 1.8L, sedangkan di negara lain cuma pake yg 1.6L doang... :mky_01:

Ini om beda valve matic with dual vvti ama dual vvti aja....


DUAL VVTI :
Ketinggian katup selalu sama / fixed baik saat iddle atau saat rpm tinggi.
Akibatnya kurang efisien.
Saat kondisi iddle ( misal kondisi jalanan macet ) , tinggi katup tetap sama dibandingkan saat full speed , misal di jalan tol.
Akibatnya bensinnya ngocor terus / lebih boros. dan tenaga tidak efisien.


VALVEMATIC WITH DUAL VVTI.
Ketinggian katup berubah2 secara kontinus.
saat iddle , ketinggian bukaan katup hanya 1 mm.
saat full speed / full rpm maksimal ketinggian katup 11 mm.
Jadi mesin lebih ekonomis.

berikut juga variant corolla altis.Yang valvematic adalah hanya type ECO.
terlihat secara spec memang lebih irit dibandingkan varian yang lain.

makanya kok pas liburan sekolah , konsumsi bensin dalkot 1:10
kl udah sklh , iddle tiap hari selama 20mnt lsg anjlok ke 1:8.5
haha mgkn kl valvematic masih bisa nahan ke 1:9.5 kali ye

Yach, saya juga bertanya2 soal hal itu. Mestinya insinyur2 Toyota gak tuli akan hujatan2 soal Torsion Beam ini. Namun kenapa tetap bertahan? Mungkin pertimbangan mereka tetap soal durability. Gimanapun Toyota selalu menang di sektor ini khan?

Engineer Hando aja jd dudul. Full Independent Suspension di Honda SX8GM yang harganya below 200jeteng dicopot.

Di Honda GD series ga pake FIS lagi. Katanya kalo pasang FIS mahal. Ganti torsion beam dah... :frm_bang_head:

Njess n Siti masih bisa di terima om Metket,yang dudul itu FN2R.Bawa emblem Type R tapi suspensi Torsion Beam,rem pun Nissin standar yang blong dalam 2 lap saja...sungguh terlalu pemangkasan biayanya Hando.

FN2-R??? Itu kan Sipik HB Type R UK yg katanya dewa itu... :big_chicken:

Ancur bener dah kalo mobil gitu di kasi torsion beam dan rem yg teler dalam 2 lap...

TypeR seharusnya jadi creme de la creme nya Ahond... seharusnya jadi Honda yang barbar dan spartan.

Sebenarnya ngga seburuk itu sebuah torsion beam selama di kasih sasis yang baik,Renault Megane RS Trophy the fastest fwd car at Nurburgring juga...torsion beam.Kalau FN2R emang patut di kasihani,understeer total dan bisa di tekuk dengan mudah oleh FD2R...saudara kandungnya sendiri.

Anyway...semoga Corolla generasi baru ini memiliki dekapan jok yang lebih baik dari generasi yang dia gantikan.Generasi sebelumnya punya dekapan layaknya triplek super flat...

Buat everyday use juga gak kerasa torsion beam/independent...ya itulah peruntukannya Corolla, buat kuda beban hari2. Kalo buat kebut2an...pertimbangannya paling segelintir dari konsumen corolla yg begitu.

Iya disana kebagian 2.0 ...... disini TAM pede dengan mesin 1800cc harga 11-12 ama pesaingnya yg 2000cc bahkan ford jauh lbh murah
