JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Astra International-Peugeot memastikan mulai menjual Peugeot 5008, November 2010. Menurut Contantinus Herlijoso, Chief Executive PT Astra International-Peugeot, MPV medium itu akan bertarung menghadapi Mitsubishi Grandis, Volkswagen Touran dan Honda Odyssey di pasar Indonesia.

"Hingga saat ini tidak ada persoalan dalam prosesnya, dipastikan bulan November mobil ini sudah sampai di Tanah Air," tegas Herlijoso. Menurutnya, MPV tujuh penumpang ini diperkirakan akan dibanderol antara Rp. 450 hingga Rp.550 juta. "Harga sudah kompetitif, apalagi didukung dengan stabilnya mata uang Euro," tambahnya.

Susah ya bedain crossover sama SUV. Mitsu Outlander adalah SUV tapi jadi Peugeot 5008 malah disebut crossover. Padahal barangnya cuma beda badge.

Yg rebadge Outlander itu 4007, bukan 5008 om protelar, ngaku2nya penggemar Peugeot tapi ngomongin ttg Peugeot aja NGAWUR

Let me quote that classic opening line again: “Peugeot hasn’t got a great reputation for reliability, but we’ll give the 3008 the benefit of the doubt for now”. Some would say at this point: “My case rests, your honor”. Peugeot has indeed ranked consistently near the bottom of lists like the J.D. Power surveys which test customer satisfaction. Even on Peugeot forums, you will find plenty of honest souls who will say that they like the cars even though they know they are less reliable than many other makes.
