Berbeda dgn situasi di Indonesia dimana mesin Diesel yg mampu minum solar jelek
paling dicari user.

Di bbrp kota besar India, seiring dengan diterapkannya standard emisi Bharat
Stage IV yg selevel dgn Euro IV serta penyediaan BBM Euro IV comply, maka
berakhir pula penjualan Chevy Tavera (Panther India) di 13 kota di India, krn
alasan emisi gas buang

Selain Tavera juga ada bbrp mobil lain yg harus berakhir pula penjualannya.

Thanks to the impending BS-IV emission norms that will be implemented in 13
cities, General Motors India has decided to stop selling its `Tavera' Multi
Purpose Vehicle (MPV) as the company has decided not to upgrade the engines of
the model, at least in the near term. Its 2.5-litre diesel engine will not be
upgraded to meet the new norms and come April 1, the MPV can only be sold in the
BS III cities.

Bharat Stage IV emission norms that have become mandatory from April 1 have had
12 casualties. Maruti was the first to announce that it will not upgrade its
entry level 800 model to meet BS IV norms and rest of the car manufacturers have
just followed suit.

The cars joining the once-upon-a-time iconic car Maruti 800 are Octavia, Fabia
(petrol), Tavera, Sumo Victa, Palio Stile, Ikon, Lancer, Pajero, Ambassador and
Indica V2 that will not be sold in 13 cities across India. However, the ageing
Hyundai Getz will soon be discontinued completely.

dia bisa lolos BS-IV ?

Chevy Tavera di Indo pakai mesin Opel/Chevy Blazer Montera (SOHC) dg body panther touring (kapsul+gendong ban). Ane jg ga' tahu maksudnya GM indo gmn kok udh dipakai di montera msh dipakai di tavera, mungkin om/tans bsa ngasih pnjelasan...
