Dulu kepikiran kepingin bikin mobil rakitan, toh teknologinya nggak susah amat. Tapi mobil kecil di Indonesia, siapa mau beli?

Menurut saya sih, agak susah produksi sendiri...Selain sudah terlalu lama dinina bobo sama produsen raksasa Jepang, sehingga cukup puas ngerakit mobil design orang lain, produsen2 luar tsb juga mungkin secara politis sudah sangat kuat sehingga campur tangan pemerintah seperti pada Proton kecil kemungkinan terjadi...apalagi banyak politisi2 katrok yang pasti ngeluarin hak angket 'mobnasgate.' Kalau Proton jadi kebanggaan orang Malaysia, Tata dan Maruti jadi kebanggaannya orang India, nasionalisme generasi sekarang boleh dibilang kurang buat hal-hal seperti ini... :cry: :cry: :cry:

Indonesia sih udah produksi mobil sendiri. Cuma brandnya doank yg Jepang. Hari gini susah kalu ngotot nasionalisme. Secara di LN namanya brand mobil dari suatu negara udah tinggal sejarah doank. Contoh : Jaguar. Brand ini udah ga jelas lagi punya negara mana. Yg penting bisa tetap eksis.

Kalau pun maksa ingin tetap keluarin brand lokal, tetap saja pasti tidak bisa 100%. Lebih baik fokus dlm satu hal, tetapi benar2 spesialis yg hebat, daripada bisa semua, tapi tidak ada satupun yg bagus. Yg terjadi di Cina adalah mereka coba semuanya. Tapi nantinya tidak semuanya akan bagus. Pasti akan muncul spesialisnya. Seperti mobil Amerika dgn torsinya, mobil Perancis dgn suspensinya, mobil Inggris dgn kemewahannya, mobil Italia dgn desain bodynya, dll.

Coba deh, kalau Proton bisa jual exora 80 juta lebih murah dari 'ipah,' sedangkan 'ipah' adalah mobil niaga berbulu mpv (chassis model 'ladder,' mesin untuk mini truck, berapa duit dari ekonomi kita yang mengalir ke prinsipal di luar negri?? Semua kebijakan, termasuk harga, dikontrol oleh prinsipal.
Berapa banyak sih mobil yang beredar di Indonesia? Produk bernilai tambah tinggi apa yang berasal dari Indonesia yang kita bisa jual di pasar luar negri? Kalau hasil pertanian, minyak mentah dll. kita cuma dapat seperberapanya dibanding dengan nilai tambah setelah menjadi produk jadi...
Indonesia mungkin adalah pasar konsumen ke 5 terbesar di dunia...Tata mampu beli Land Rover & Jaguar bo! India pasar terbesar ke 2 dunia...nanti orang2 India mobilnya Jaguar & Landrover, tapi duitnya ga kemana2, ngiter di India menggerakkan perekonomian India...Kita beli kendaraan niaga aja mahal banget, tapi duitnya kemana??? bro, yg brand Jepang gini biarpun "diproduksi" sendiri, tetep aja di-produksi Jepang.
Design/rancangannya approval orang jepang. Perhitungan2 / rumus2 rahasia engineeringnya tetep cuma Jepang yg tau, misal mau bikin mesin, atau kekuatan pistonnya dulu,dll.
Kita kebagian kerjaan operasionalnya / pelaksana.

btw si GEA baru ganti body (serta upgrade teknologi mesin meski sepertinya masih terbilang teknologi lama), tapi tetap aja bodynya masih kurang bisa diterima mata IMO. katanya designnya banyak dikritik orang, termasuk dari Seni Rupa ITB. udah, kasih kan aja ke itu tukang seni dari bandung, minta harga spesial kalo bisa. :mrgreen:

setidaknya, ini GEA masih serius digarap ama PT.INKA. asal jangan panas2 tai ayam aja. :mrgreen:

Inilah, kita apa2 serba tanggung. Untuk secara serius menggarap mobnas, harusnya bisa buat 'quantum leap,' ga usah mulai dari nol...
Tata beli Jaguar & Landrover, Proton ambil Lotus, Geely ambil Volvo...semua memanfaatkan transfer teknologinya. Pabrikan2 mobil papan atas punya banyak hak paten, dan itulah yang dibeli.
Designer bisa bayar kayak Pinnin Farinna yang pengalaman design mobil, kan designer lokal bisa ikut ngelmu sehingga selanjutnya bisa design sendiri...

bukan tanggung om, tapi itulah kemampuan kita sekarang. kita bukan lagi jaman keadaan ekonomi yang baik. kalo memang mo cara seperti om, mestinya mobil ala timor dulu yang dilanjutin. tapi kita tau, kita krisis dan juga penguasa yang bisa melanggengkan mobnas lengser. so, menurut saya saat ini kalo ada yang mulai dari nol tetap mesti diapresiasi. mungkin rada telat berkembangnya tapi tetap punya potensi.

mending ada meski sangat sedikit dari pada banyak hanya cuman sebatas angan2 tanpa realisasi.

Bukannya ga apresiasi, tapi teknologi otomotif kan dah lebih dari seabad...k lo mulainya baru sekarang dari nol, takut keburu layu sebelum berkembang...apalagi konsumen Indonesia udah minded merk 'T' :roll:

kalo elit2 politik kerjanya nggrecokin mulu, kapan ekonominya membaik yak? Timor sih keliatannya dulu ga lebih cuma akal2an biar bisa impor CBU... :e-naughty:

memang teknologi otomotif dah lama tapi perangkat pendukung teknologi sekarang juga udah maju. mestinya dengan perangkat pendukung teknologi yang sekarang ada ini bisa memacu akselerasi buat mengejar ketinggalan meski memang ga gampang dan bisa cepat. inilah cost yang mesti kita ambil.

sepintar2nya KIA tetap aja itu produk jaman itu masih mobil ecek-ecek. kalo cuman mo akal2an yang tentunya mo cari untung sebanyak-banyaknya, ya mending masukin CBU yang jelas2 dah sangat bagus imagenya. ngejual mobil ini tentu jauh lebih mudah yang otomatis keuntungan bakal berlimpah-limpah.

Timor yg sudah masuk mengusung teknologi Mazda jepan yg dikopi oleh KIA Motor dan diaplikasikan pada TImor .
saya bersyukur bisa membeli mobil mewah sekelas Honda city dan Vios di jamannya dengan harga setengahnya dan yg terpenting karena terlanjur banyak masuk mobil Timor . maka otomatis banyak tuntutan komponen dari User dan disinilah keunggulan KIA Motor spare partnya laku dan ternyata kualitas mobil KIA mumpuni alias gak gampang rusak
