sebenernya semua mobil (kecuali mobil listrik) kalo dibejek gasnya/kickdown ya pasti meraung mesinnya, cuma bedanya ada yang tinggi raungannya, ada yang kecil.
Dan ada juga yang raungannya tinggi dan terdengar sampe ke kabin, ada juga yang tidak.

Tinggi atau tidaknya raungan tergantung besar mesin dan mungkin bobot kendaraan.
Kedengaran atau tidak raungan tsb bergantung dari kualitas mesin dan peredaman.

aduh jgn kayak mesin2 minibus (gw jg ga demen liat kijang kapsul meraung di tanjakan)

tp denger mesin2 badak lagi gas pol enak tuh (V6 ke atas)

bunyi raungannya sama semua bos: Charger, 300C, Magnum, Challenger, RAM, Aspen, Durango :D

hehehe kijang kapsul... lepas aja semua kipas nya, ganti ama pendingin oli. sunyi... :D

oke back to vios... kemaren gue sempet buka2 mesin, mau tanya nih... kan vios ga pake kabel busi, nah kelebihan nya apa dibanding (misalnya) mobil lain dengan kabel busi performance (NGK misalnya), bagus mana? secara gue liat di vios, kabelnya tipis2... ga meyakinkan... hehe...

or, maybe... cable isn't a big deal? :)

loh, kabel yg tipis2 itu kan listrik "mentah" nya blm "disekolahin coil".
kalo pengapian yg sekarang itu model vios (individual coil per cyl / "batch firing" yah), nyala coil on-demand diperintah directly dari ecu.
karena dapat dipasang di atas kepala busi, jadi tdk perlu kabel busi.

sori... gaptek kalo yg beginian...

if, sudah begini... artinya kabel busi sudah ga ada gunanya kan? so... kenapa masih ada yg pake kabel busi, kalo teknologi ini lebih optimal? artinya bisa saja sistem ini diterapkan pada mobil lain?

sori lagi... soalnya kepikiran kemaren di garasi.

yg pake kabel busi itu yg dgn distributor (hanya ada 1 coil aja), dan
"DLi / DistributorLess Ignition" yah, jadi mesin yg tiap coil nya handle 2 cyl.
DLi oil tugasnya lebih berat krn harus menyalakan 2 cyl dprd individual coil.
Dan, timing system ini juga tidak bisa sefleksibel individual coil, krn "dibatasi" beban tugas/waktu menyalakan cyl kedua (lainnya).
Contoh DLi:
Granmax(1300), AvanzaXenia(1300)non-vvti, Baleno 1500cc (1999-2002), hyundai cakra / accent, dsb.
Contoh individual coil:
Avanzaxenia vvti (all), Ruster, Granmax 1500, vios yaris, cityjazz(vtec), altis, M15A, dsb2 mobil sekarang..

jazz/city idsi = 2coil per cyl, mirip Mercy mulai new eyes yg V6, or alfaromeo 'twinspark' kalo ga salah.

istilahnya distributorless direct ignition..(sok treknikal...)..hahahaha

x-trail mo dibejek jg meraung2 koq..mgkn mksdnya vios ini raungannya itu macam nangis yah?meraung rauunnnggg...

engine mounting vios bukan raungannya, tp saat di-start itu dashboardnya agak goyang, setelah nyala/idle sih halus. yg lain mengalami juga ga yah..
Jauh dari "meraung" kali yah, tp menderu; kalo meraung itu spt innova/avanza/apv

wah 2 halaman thread udh ga seru lagi neh dah gencatan senjata.hehe

ikutan nimbrung, pernah nyoba yaris notabene sama ama vios, tenaga puteran bawah oke, tp perpindahan maticnya ga sehalus cvt. nyobain city vtec buat nyantai setel aj di D, terasa smooth, kl mau agresif pilih 7 speed mode --> berubah deh jadi matic 7 speed, rasio gigi rapat ya gw rasain lebih responsif drpd matic yaris. bantingan city lbh keras, yaris lbh empuk. kl masalah taxi vios bantingan keras terang aj kan ga pake ban radial trus pastinya anginnya isinya lbh kers.
so tiap mobil punya kelebihan n kekurangan.
toyota n honda keduanya sama2 bgs, tergantng selera masng2, maniak toyota pasti bilng toyota plng bgs, maniak honda pasti bilng honda plng top.

hehehe iya sih, tergantung selera... kalo pendapat pribadi sih, CVT terlalu halus... masih lebih milih matic kuno... enak ada hentakan tiap perpindahan gigi... :)
soal taxi keras... kadang joknya juga kempes gitu...lho. or kadang diganti ama kulit keras, ga mungkin nyaman.

Keunggulan CVT menjaga rpm "cenderung continuously di tengah". memungkinkan whole driving itu rpm range fix("dikunci") di 2000-2500 saja (note 0 up to 80/90kmh);
Kontribusi FC terutama pd tanjakan & turunan (juga datar), frekuensi buka gas agak dalam utk "menaikkan rpm atau kl perlu s/d downshift", otomatis lebih dapat diminimalkan krn ratio gigi yg bervariasi menyesuaikan kebutuhan mesin = infinite.
Krn rpm "dikunci", Engine brake juga lebih terasa.

akselerasi Little Open Throttle: casual/most city-traffic dan tanjakan-turunan = CVT, krn selama melaju rpm steady dekat2 sekitar tengah.
Akselerasi WOT/ agresif = 4speed a/t "masih mungkin" lebih unggul; tapi Vitz RS dan ist terbaru pun sebenarnya suah pakai CVT.
mengapa ? krn saat hard-acceleration (say:0-100kmh), gigi (4speed a/t) bisa diam di posisi 1 utk bbrp detik pertama s/d redline (rpm mesin kontan menuju redline);
Hard-acceleration WOT pd cvt, "sudah bukan gigi 1 lagi" di beberapa detik pertama krn rpm mesin tidak kontan (lebih lama) menuju redline krn paling tidak ada terjadi perubahan ratio ke value lebih rendah, walaupun perpindahan ratio tsb berupaya diminimalkan by ect begitu mode WOT=on.

apakah harganya persis dgn yg di toyota-ownerclub.com?
gw tanya salesnya dia malahan kyk ga mau kasi tau gt, gara2 gw ngmgnya masi mikir2 mau belinya.

klo soal diskon dan bonus, diskon biasanya brpan sih? ada yg blg dpt diskon 10-15jtan, apakah bener diskon bisa ampe segede itu?

wah susah bro kalo bicara soal harga asesoris... jelas sales nya ga tau lah... bukan ga mau kasih tau.
yang saya tau, asesoris mobil di atpm rata2 lebih mahal dibanding ke toko asesoris umum.

utk discount dan bonus itu tergantung anda dealing kesepakatan dengan sales nya... rata2 cashback memang antara 5-10jt. dapat 15 mah hoki dong...
misalnya, pernah saya ditawari cashback dan bonus... saya tolak bonus nya, dan minta tambahan cashback saja... :)
so, semua tidak ada yg pasti, bro... selama anda jago tawar2an, pasti dapet lumayan lah...
