All New Jazz Vs Yaris di balap touring indonesia

mo minta penjelasan kenapa mesin dohc (yaris/vios) bisa kalah sama sohc (New Jazz).....ECU sama2 bagus Honda pake Mugen...Toyota pake TOM'S....
bahkan kayaknya toyota menyerah minta pengurangan berat mobil 40 kg......atau toyota malas nge-tune??

aslinya yaris jg uda kalah kan yah ama new jazz scara teori utk power nya... ck ck ck... yaris, memalukan DOHC aja... :big_weee: :big_weee:

secara sederhananya seh dohc ngga mutlak lbh baik dr pada mesin2 sohc, masing2 ada keunggulannya.........sohc d rpm menengah k bawah dan dohc d menengah k atas, nah yg g abis pikir.......scr logika yg namanya balap turing ini khan bnyk bermain d rpm menengah ke atas, tp justru mesin2 sohc yg malah lbh unggul

apa ada pengaruh dr system ivtec nya honda yg (mungkin) lbh baik dr vvti nya toyota?? :ungg:

ngomong2 d balap turing ini, swift msh ngikut apa ngga ya?

Seharusnya Toyota sudah meng-aplikasikan yg "dual vvt-i" utk Yaris biar sepadan lawan "ivtec"nya Honda.

Secara teoretis DOHC harusnya lebih unggul dibanding SOHC karena tanpa menggunakan rocker arm utk menggerakkan katup sehingga efisiensi mekanisnya lebih tinggi. Tapi innovasi mesin di Honda yg unggul mengakibatkan cukup pake SOHC utk melibas DOHC-nya Toyota.

Ayo Toyota Banguun, jgn melamuun.

memang aneh, sebenernya sohc kalah potensial dari dohc makanya ditinggalkan banyak produsen kecuali segelintir; honda mitsubishi.
soalnya camlobe yg ngatur buka klep masuk buang nyangkut semua jadi satu poros. dial cam buat setting tenaga itu susah. mau dynamic advanced/retard intake & exhaust sekaligus itu tidak bisa di sohc.

@gtr: oo ic ic........berarti scr teknologi dohc lbh advance dr sohc ya oom?nah klo bole nnya kira2 apa yg menyebabkan sebagian mesin msh menggunakan teknologi sohc?apa krn biaya produksinya lb rendah ato gmana ya? :ungg:

klo alasan produsen make SOHC untuk daily use lebih awet.....minim gesekan.....justru DOHC yang lebih cocok buat kompetisi.....sejak twincam kayaknya toyota dah gak pernah pake SOHC lagi kali....cuman default tenaganya dikurangi agar lebih awet untuk daily use....jadi klo dioprek lebih gampang
omong2 twincam=dohc enggak ya????

mesin OHV tapi kalo cam nya ada 2 bs disebut twin cam juga gak ? :e-think:

Sejak multivalve, kayanya toyota langsung dengan konstruksi dohc..cmiiw.

Biaya produksi belum tentu masing2 lebih rendah, karena kalo liat konstruksi rocker-arm multivalve sohc cukup kompleks, super padat dan rapat, kecuali sohc bukan multivalve. makin parah yg variable valve lift, masih ditambah camlobe "tengah" dan mekanis pemindahnya. Jauh lebih simple di dohc, mirip sohc non-multivalve.
vvti sendiri mekanis valve timing yang simpel, yang hanya bekerja advance/retard sprocket intake.
Gesekan juga besar, sohc pasti melalui mekanis rocker-arm daripada dohc yg tidak selalu dengan rocker-arm.

SOHC untuk angle intake-exhaust valve yang narrow, sepertinya begitu pula di mitsubishi.
DOHC untuk mesin keperluan modifikasi/kompetisi, satu2nya konstruksi yg bisa wide-angle.

Twincam = dohc istilah toyota.
mesin toyota narrow angle = akhiran Fxx, wide = Gxx.

Narrow angle head cocok menciptakan efek kecepatan aliran pasokan bahan bakar tinggi (ideal) ke cylinder di rpm rendah/menengah daripada wide (tidak dihubungkan dengan jumlah pasokan).
ini menguntungkan untuk torsi, dan konon lebih hemat mengkonsumsi bahan bakar. tapi belum tentu buat power di rpm tinggi.
Saluran masuk jadi lebih belok/menyudut daripada wide.
Ukuran valve lebih terbatas daripada wide angle.

Wide angle head cocok untuk menciptakan efek kecepatan pasokan tertentu(ideal) di rpm tinggi daripada narrow, tapi belum tentu ideal di rpm rendah. makanya lebih jauh di treat dengan variable-valve lift/timing.
Bentuk saluran masuk lebih landai / minim tekukan.
Biasanya pada wide-angle dohc, ukuran dan tinggi valve lebih besar daripada narrow, karena memang lebih mungkin dibikin besar. ini efek ke kecepatan udara yg relatif makin lambat di rpm rendah.
