Mesin J20A tanpa VVT, kalau gak salah ini mesin yang sama yang dipake Grand Vitara generasi lawas. Makanya bisa teken harga, soalnya Suzuki cermat menggunakan barang lama yang gak kualitas dan hasilnya gak terlalu jauh ketinggalan dibanding kompetitor. Justru gw pengen Suzuki mbikin J20A dengan VVT, gak perlu di over bore jadi 2.4 seperti yang diinformasikan... Sayang. Tenaga dan torsi udah cukup, cuma kurang efisiensi bensin aja.

Force induction = turbo atau supercharger. Tanpa force induction = naturally aspirated = mesin biasa. Mesin turbo itu identik dengan keausan mesin lebih cepat dibanding mesin n/a. Soalnya turbo "maksa" mesin bekerja ekstra keras, apalagi ketika menghasilkan peak power... Cuma kalau bawanya kalem juga panjang umur sih. Itu lah mengapa Honda gak pernah mau pake turbo... Tapi pada akhirnya dibikin juga sih Acura RDX, SUV penantang X3 yang dilengkapi turbo.

Ups, salah ketik... Maksud gw mesin GV kualitas dan hasilnya gak terlalu jauh ketinggalan dibanding kompetitor. Coba deh bandingin konsumsi bensin GV ama Hyundai Tucson atau Kia Sportage II... Gak tau sih gw... Cuma seharusnya gak beda jauh, dan Hyundai-Kia udah pake mesin 2000cc CVVT.

Klo gt ga boros2 bgt donk.. :e-dance: Bokap maunya yang irit sih, n nyaranin yg 1500cc aja..
Makanya skrg pilihannya antara GV n SX4. Gw suka GV (karna gw sk suv), tp bokap sukanya SX4 (karna 1500cc n lumayan tinggi)..

wah, klo gt jgn sampe ketauan bokap.. Bisa bahaya klo dia ganti ke livina X-gear.. Secara tampilan gw ga demen sih sama nih mobil, apalagi fiturnya kalah lengkap dibanding SX4.. Ga ada ABSnya, yg menurut gw penting bgt bwt standard mobil masa kini..

Ya elah, ground clearence beda 1 cm masih aja di bahas terus yak? Kurang tinggi?? Itu si lama2 beli mobil SUV or sekalian LUV, biar tinggi tenan. Livina x-gear kemaren liat, gw ga demen tampilannya, cuma tambah2 over vender n ganti2 bemper aj... Still, looks bad n even taller just by 1 cm n with the feature that is not very satisfied with that price. Suit ur self

Maka dari itu yang saya bingung... Mank dengan perbedaan 1cm efek dalam kota bisa berpengaruh banyak?? wong ini mobil cilik, bukan mau off road. Kl mau offroad mah, cari aja tuh land rover defender, ground clearence 30/32 cm. Itu baru d bilang perbedaannya banyak... Kl lobang or banjir, tetep aja beda 1 cm. Tinggal posisi air intake sampai dimana ketinggiannya. Done...

ganti pelek tergantung selera bos,
kalo gw pribadi,
mau jdm style, pake TE37 silver 18 ato 19" aja, (masih tetap empuk kalo hajar lubang).
kalo mau nge dub, pake wasabi item 20" (udah mulai agak hati2 nyetirnya)
mau elegan pake 22 juno vogue :D (anti banget kalo liat jalan jelek) ...he..h.e.heh.

mereknya bikinan mana bro ?
pengalaman gw dulu pake escudo 2.0 pake velq 18 merek K speed, ukuran 245/46/18, secara tampilan okelah tp kenyamanan jauuuuuuuuh bgt ama std, apalagi di setir buang sana-sini, pdhl udh dibalance n spooring, tp memng body jd ga limbung. iseng2 gw pernah nimbang bandingin dengan velq+ban standar, buset bedanya lumayan 5kg persatu roda.
ada yg punya pengalaman di GV pake velq > 18 di setir lari2 ga ?

gw pake 18x8" Work XT7 bro, dah ditimbang, kalo gak salah gak sampe 9 kg berat peleknya
trus pake toyo prxs s/t 255/55 (bobot 15.2kg-ada di katalog).
dibandingin ama pelek standar , 16x6.5 + ban 225/70 (total bobot 27.4kg), malahan lebih enak pake yg 18, ya empuk nya, ya stabilnya, ya bising nya..
stir gak lari2 bro..

TE 37 buatan rays eng, utk r18x8 bobotnya kalo gak salah sekitar 8kg- forged
wasabi - exe kayaknya taiwan yah..cmiiw..juno gw gak tau..

kalo pake 19"x9 ato 19x8.5 pake ban yg 265/50 kayaknya masih empuk deh
apalagi TE bobot nya ringan, ukuran 19"x9.5 aja gak sampe 10kg. Setir jadinya tetap ringan.
harga TE, gw pernah nanya2, yg baru ukuran 18"x8 sekitar 25an.

Tapi, apakah TE37 19" ada offset yg sesuai buat GV?

untuk FC, dalkot 1:6 s/d 1:8 , gw punya 1 : 8 an
luar kota 1:10 s/d 1 :12, gw punya 1 :10an
FC jg tergantung ama drive style yaa..

Spek CR nya 9.5 : 1 (manual book) artinya bisa minum premium dong, dan gw sejauh ni pake premium gak ada masalah
