Overall, Hyundai was No. 3 in this year's report, behind No. 1 Porsche and No. 2 Lexus, Toyota's luxury brand, and right ahead of Toyota. Last year, Hyundai was No. 11, so the leap made Hyundai the third-most improved nameplate this year.

Seorang teman yg dulu pernah kerja di FEV - Jerman mengatakan, kantor R&D Hyundai di Jerman sgt besar, mereka berani membajak tenaga2 ahli berpengalaman dr persh2 Otomotif besar Eropa & menggajinya dlm jumlah cukup besar.........
Gak heran lah kalo skg implementasi enginering mobil2 Hyundai udah kayak mobil2 Eropa.......mesin2 GDI - Turbo.......Diesel Common rail high spec., etc.
Yg penting itu consistency, bisa gak bertahun tahun diatas seperti Toyonda.
Tp emang Hyundai udah bagus reliabilitynya...Korea yg gak bagus2 udah bangkrut kapan tau. Yg perlu di genjot ama mobil Korea itu faktor mupeng (muke pengen), alias desirability factor...kalo di lihat Hyundai/Kia reliabilitynya udah lama lebih bagus dr merek2 Eropa dan Amerika - cuman pernah gak kita mupeng-in mobil Korea kaya kita mupeng-in mobil Eropa, Amerika, dan Jepang. Kalo ane sih gak pernah, kecuali Kia2 yg nongol akhir2 ini (yg di rancang org Eropa bekas designer Audi)
mobil asia bisa didesain oleh org eropa, dan sebaliknya. gw heran msh ada yg menganggap desain mbl/org eropa lbh bagus dr mbl/org asia

Kalo org Asia sekolah design di Eropa ya kemungkinan besar jadinya bagus juga Kalo org Asia sekolahnya di Korea ya..kemungkinan besar gak sebagus yg udah tau European design.
Realita aja...lebih bagus design Hyundai atau Peugeot misalnya...sama2 merek biasa - kalo Mercedes kejauhan
Realita aja...design KIA skrg jauh lebih bagus setelah diambil alih bekas designer Audi.

Bukan masalah "lagi" - memang tidak pernah jadi masalah (kecuali buat ente).
