nah, ingin tanya lg pak andi, setelah #105, dicombine dengan apalagi sampai tahap akhir?

o'ya sebenarnya apakah sanding dalam proses paint preparation diperlukan? dlm salah satu video megs, setelah di clay>sanding>dst..

klo gw ndak berani sanding, karena blum punya mesin, jd tanya2 dulu.. :D

sanding khan bertujuannya motong clear coat buat menyamarkan ato ngilangin baret dalem bos ..

itu cuma tehnik ajah kayanya sih ga perlu sampe d lakuin buat paint prep

Jadi ini bayangan gw terhadap tu mobil.
Kemungkinan bsa tanpa clear coat, yang jelas oksidasi pada cat terutama kap dan atap, goresan2 dalam dan cekungan terkena batu, dan pastinya swirl yang sangat banyak.
Dari sini gw dah pasti nyerah pakek tangan. Pakek mesin pastinya.
Step2nya
Wash, pemakaian BTR, clay (kemungkinan pakek clay medium/agresif), touch up buat goresan dalam dan cekungan kecil, spot scratch removing, possibly wet sanding, compounding ( rotary, m105, optimum compound), polishing (rotary, #83 terus #80), finishing (DA), glaze, dan LSP.
Ini cuma teori ya, kalo praktek mah gw masih cupu. Moga2 nanti bsa nyampe kesana. Amin..

proses sanding tergantung kondisi cat bro. Sanding ada grade nya. Ada grit 1500, 2000, dll. Makin gede makin halus amplasnya. Jadi kalo dah parah swirlnya baru disanding. N sanding hanya dilakukan pada proses mesin rotary. DA apalagi tangan gak cukup kuat ngilangin bekas sanding.

setelah 105 pake 80 bisa :D di liat masi ada baret pa kaga dll
kalo masi bisa turun lagi ke yang cutt lebih rendah dari 80

kalo sanding di lihat dari kondisi cat bro
kalo masih lom parah ya gak usah di sanding bro :D

M105 harganya berapa ya? Tuh produk bsa buat tangan juga. N banyak yang suka juga. Bahkan lebih efektif daripada scratchx.

wah ..maaf ya masih bingung nih...
ok dah pahami, bahwa , kalo dgn tangan (bukan mesin) ,buffing adalah proses membersihkan sisa2 residu, dan apakah pada saat apply pake foam ato MF applicator itu adalah proses cutting nya..?

maksudnya gini nih, gw tuang DC1 ke foam, trus gw usap dengan merata dan lembut ke permukaan cat..nah, apakah proses apply hanya selesai sampai disini?

krn di petunjuk nya, disebutkan, "ratakan DC1 dgn merata dan tipis di permukaan. lalu jgn tunggu kering, lap lah dgn kain MF yg bagus samapi residu hilang.."
pertanyaan nya lagi...
dimanakah proses cutting berlangsung, ato gw ada yg salah nih..

Proses cutting terjadi pada saat qta apply bro. Makanya kalo pakek tangan, kita perlu sedikit kuat menggosoknya. Nah setelah selesai atau produk dah agak kering kita buff buat menghapus sisa produk dan kotoran yang lepas waktu qta apply. Begitu kira2. Makanya abis apply DC1 di kap ma atap aja gw dah tepar. Pakek tenaga sih.
Jadi misalnya bro abu2 ada water spot terus dihilangin pakek DC1, pada proses apply atau menggosok kan hilangnya tu water spot.
Mau ngelurusin, kalo pakek cleaner dan polish, jangan "ratakan" apalagi dengan lembut tapi gosok atau rubbing dengan tenaga (aman kok).
"Ratakan" itu pada pemakaian wax atau sealant dimana qta cuma nempelin produk doang.

berarti pada saat apply (abis nyolek itu polis pake foam), nah bukan di ratain aja ke body, tp di puter2 dgn tenaga sampai merata dan kuat ya...berarati mesti punya stok MF ato Foam aplicator yg banyak nih...

berarti pake cleaner ato polish di apply/ diratakan/digosok/ditekan dgn menggunakan MF ato foam aapplicator itu khan?

Proses cutting/cleaning ada saat kita aplikasi produk DC1 atau sejenis yg lain. Makanya kalo kita pake SX, maka bisa berulang sampai 3-5 kali. tergantung kondisi panel yg mau kita make over.

Bener bro. Gw aja gosok innova ampe goyang tu mobil. Tetep aja gak banyak ilang swirlnya. Disitulah kelebihan dan kekurangan hand application. Aman buat cat, gak aman buat tangan.

DC 1 bro. Yakinlah tu mobil banyak water spot. Wong diparkirnya diluar kok. Setelah digosok dc1, baru keliatan tu lingkaran2 kecil.

ingin bertanya, kalau hand polish yg warna kuning kan yg paling kuat cutting-nya, obat yg cocok buat dicombine dengan pad kuning tsb apa yah? apakah DC1? scartchX? atau apa?
