Another news. Mirip ama yang di atas, jadi saya cuman quote bagian new news saja in bold :
http://www.iii.co.uk/news/?type=afxnews ... on=article
......... At first, Nissan plans to begin producing the vehicle around 2006 at a Chinese plant in Guangdong Province, the production site of its joint venture with Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor Corp, for export as well as for use in China, it said.
Nissan plans to start producing the vehicles in Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, South Africa and Mexico in fiscal 2006, and in Indonesia the following fiscal year. It also plans to start building the Tiida, which it currently assembles at its Kanagawa Prefecture plant, at the Guangdong plant in spring 2005.
Models to be manufactured in Thailand and Indonesia will also be
exported to countries such as Australia. Nissan will
build models for the US market in Mexico to expand sales of subcompacts in the US.
The prices of the models will vary depending on region, but are expected to be set at about 1-1.5 mln yen, the report added.
In my opinion, ini proyek AUV BARU pantas di sebut IMV (International multi purpose vehicle). Cause unlike the Innova yang cuman ke SEA dan South Africa, ini AUV hampir lari ke mana mana !
AUV selain ke SEA, juga ke pasar besar dan maju seperti China, Australia, Taiwan, even all the way to the USA !
And since its reported to have 9 plants, and the quoted ones so far are China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, South Africa, Indonesia and Mexico (7), masih tinggal 2 pabric yang belum ketahuan. And I bet that one of it is JAPAN herself !
And like the USA version of the Tiida, the Versa yang di bikin di Mexico, the AUVs will also be made in Mexico for sale in USA.
Cause model mau masuk USA, China, Australia etc. sudah pasti pantas bagusnya untuk masuk ke JDM juga.
What a global project ! Could a Nissan desperately designed model made only in Purwakarta, using the Terrano's old engine, like often said here, even have a chance in so many markets around the world ?
Nissan spent 100 billion yen (that is abt 1 BILLION USDollars, not rupiah), like I said, masa bakar uang 1 milliar dollar cuman untuk lawan kijang di Indonesia, pakai mesin kuno ?
Like I said, Nissan is like the Sharks in the film DEEP BLUE SEA. They are not after just 80,000 kijangs in Indonesia. They are after MILLIONS of sales volumes around the world !
I guess I will be right this time. Who is it that said AUVs NOT Going to China ? Who is it that say Nissan ngak mungkin bisa seperti Toyota ? Malah I bilang ini proyek lebih besar lagi dari proyek IMV Toyota !
Should now be called GUV, for Global Utility Vehicle, not AUV !
I can't wait !
