enaknya lagi tuh turbo kit bisa dipake buat daily use... bahkan "cukup" dikasi pertaplus aja utk menjamin kelangsungan hidup turbo nya... kaga usa pake bensin2 hasil racikan sendiri....

swift kalo gak salam emang dipake juga di rally... mungkin designnya udah kesana makanya jadi yang terbaik handlingnya.
tapi emang mantap banget nih mobil.. bawa 150kpj di cipularang gak berasa.. kirain masih 100kpj...
jalan bumpy pun gak berasa melayang..

@doq: ane kagak ngarti om apakah mesinnya sama atau kagak cbu vs ckd.... tapi yang ane bawa waktu itu sih CBU jepun yah... top maskopat eh, top markotop dah... 130 di pantura mah sebentar.. kalo cuman nempelin bimer, volvo di atas 100 mah enak banget pake swift...

menurut salah satu kabeng beres suzuki..swift n sx-4 cbu mesinnya sama..hanya ada perbedaan mapping ecu-nya dng yang ckd....please diconfirm lagi krn secara detailnya saya jg gak dikasi tau, tapi secara umum menurut dia tujuan perbedaan tsb supaya versi ckd masih bs minum premium dengan gembira.....doq wrote:katanya swift cbu dan ckd mesinnya beda ya pak?

woo cm beda mapping ecu aja ya, soalnya pernah denger selentingan katanya swift cbu mesinnya pake yg 1.6 liter
btw emang keren swift ini, dr pertama nongol udah demen.....sayang bangku belakangnya sempit macam baenol sy.....

tapi ngomong2 balap touring...msh byk gak sih sedan yg ikut seri balapan ini.... sy perhatikan skrg dominan mini mpv (hatcback) yang ikutan....

wah...ya masih banyak lah, tergantung kelasnya sajah...Tapi memang "main even" diisinya mobil mini MPV..
Sedan kek Honda Ferio, BMW, Toyota Vios mah masih banyak tuh "petarungnya". BMW malah sudah buka kelas sendiri yaitu BMW cup, balapnya murah tuw, mobil 2ndnya murah terus mesin di batasi 2000 cc saja specnya cuma Group-N. Pokoknya modifikasi terbatas.
Belum kelas Retro Turing yang isinya rata2x DX & Datsun/Nissan..lalu Kelas Classic car race, ada mercy mini ma Volvo ikut lo...heheheheheh
Intinya ya masih banyak lah

seep lah kalo gitu..maklum mungkin krn saya kurang menyimak....yg jelas waktu zaman saya dulu masih makan bangku sekolah balap turing itu identik sm corolla gti, mazda astina dan civic. Pas terakhir ini baca2 berita kok yg kelas populer mini mpv...rupanya sedan2 masih ada...

klo dibuat racing antara jazz dan yaris ya jazz no 1..
dari mesin sampai kaki kakinya emang mantap, tapi untuk handling saya stuju dengan teman-teman, swift emang jagonya, tapi sayangnya untuk mesin saya cuma bisa kasih satu jempol, pada saat remap ECU, rev limiter ga bisa di buka lebih tinggi, kasian juga handling mantap tapi mesin kurang ok..
jazz di unichip aja bisa 160-180hp(+ ganti blok)...klo ga salah yaris juga pernah ada yang segitu, tapi dia di kalah rasio gearnya....klo yaris banyak yang nyiasatin ganti final gear, apa pengaruhnya besar ya?

Teknologi mesin Jazz itu unik, mesin untuk efisiensi tinggi sekaligus juga seolah mesin mobil sport yg disunat, yet reliable..
Walaupun konfigurasi seperti mesin n/a Jazz ini umumnya menghasilkan mesin di teritori pakem "low-rpm, fuel economy, & low emissions oriented" diantaranya:
Long-stroke,
Narrow-angle head,
SOHC,
Integrated manifold head (No-more separate Header), etc... etc..,
bahkan basis ini dipakai untuk mesin Hybrid (CRZ).. yah recomended oli setipis 0W-xx
Sekarang seems the tables are turns, mesin tetep tembus juga teritori karakter hi-power & Hi-rpm & truly potensial,

bukan ga ada, tapi baru belakangan, mulai line-up mesin SOHC yg >2007 / level euro-4.
semua mesin sebelumnya justru konvensional aja, pake "header" (head dan manifold terpisah).
Seri2 mesin honda belakangan dibikin integrated head-manifold, teorinya sih nyunat tenaga yet bakal bikin susah buat di-oprek2;
tapi ini demi level emisi ke tingkat lebih tinggi dgn jalan meningkatkan efektifitas kerja CC.
Sedangkan kerja CC makin efektif jika CC dilalui suhu exhaust yg masih relatif tinggi.
Manifold integrated head => memperpendek jarak ke CC level pertama => suhu exhaust melewati CC lebih tinggi => kerja CC lebih efektif menyaring gas buang.
baru kemudian "disaring" lagi melalui CC level 2 di posisi konvensional.

kaya di pick-up2 gitu, sebagian cuma 1 di tengah, kecil sepertinya bukan model twin-bed (coupled). cmiiw.
