stel timing pengapian aja dulu.....kalo msh blm oke baru deh utak atik yg lain
AFAIK mesin low comp gak masalah dikasi bensin oktan tinggi (yg penting timing pengapian diset), yg jadi masalah itu kalo mesin high comp dikasi bensin oktan rendah.
lha wong mesin kijang 5K jadul aja ada kenop "octan selector" di distributornya (yg ditutup mika bening...segaris dng vacuum advancer)

ya beli mesin kumplit sm girboknya,heheheh..
tapi saya menduga girboknya bisa cocok, sebab mesin SL kan sama dng L300, mudah2an aja girboknya jg bs plug in. CMIIW

ya sebenernya bisa aja pake final gear bawaan, gak masalah.
konsekuensinya top speed jadi turun krn rpm disel kan banter2nya kisaran 4000rpm

hm... iya sih.. sekarang kalo di gear 5 dan RPM di 4000, kecepatan di kisaran 130+ kpj... mungkin perlu nurunin final gear ratio sekitar 1.5 kali ya..
tapi nanti gear 1 nya jadi terlalu halus neh...

hmm...ada yg masih inget di tahun 90'an....??
waktu itu mobil2 ber-BBG marak banget, taksi2 hampir semua pake BBG, bis PPD pake BBG dan beberapa mbl pribadi jg ikut pake BBG. Tinggal pasang conversion kit, dan mbl siap pake BBG.
Lantas kenapa kok tau2 jadi menyusut ya pengguna nya ?? skrg tinggal 1 perusahaan taksi aja, sisanya busway sama bajaj. Dari 21 SPBG di jakarta tinggal 10 yg beroperasi.

Pakai BBG itu tenaganya berkurang. Lagipula repot kalau SPBU BBG sedikit, antri ketika mengisi. Tempat nya juga jauh, keburu kehabisan gas deh. Kebijakan BBG cocoknya hanya untuk angkutan umum, yang rute nya situ-situ saja. Kalau mobil probadi keluar kota bisa repot di jalan.
Saya pernah naik taksi bbg, ternyata tabung nya ditaruh di Bagasi. Akhirnya koper saya tidak muat di bagasi. Kebayang kalau hal itu terjadi di mobil anda?

dulu pernah ngobrol2 sama pengemudi taksi bbg, memang kendala utama nya saat itu adalah spbg yg jumlahnya sangat terbatas, dan biasanya pun antrian nya super panjang.

menurut mereka, si mesin masih bsa nenggak bbm "biasa" kok, tinggal rubah switch selector nya aja CMIIW
dan setuju sama oom ilham, utk kendaraan pribadi sebenernya kendala terbesar ada di ukuran tanki bbg nya
