Itu 0-60 mph ~96kmh, tetap tidak terpaut jauh dari 0-100kmh harusnya.
tapi review edisi Motortrend memang cenderung maksimal hasilnya (contoh akselerasi GTR bisa 3.2sec), mirip juga dgn Car&Driver (GTR =3.3sec), mereka punya standar utk tes ini.
nanti kalo ada hasil test C&D dan BestMotoring utk jazz ini, dishare disini lagi.

Saya belum bisa berpendapat soal All New Jazz, belum pernah nyobain soalnya. Tapi kalo tenaganya Jazz selisihnya cuma 10dk sama Yaris ato Swift kayaknya belum bisa keliatan signifikan kelebihannya soal akselerasi.
Kalo Swift sama Yaris saya bisa komentar, karena saya punya dua-duanya, cuma Swift ST nya matik, Yaris E nya manual.
Tapi saya juga pernah nyobain Swift GL manual, menurut saya kelebihan Swift ada di putaran atas. Untuk akselerasi jarak pendek, Swift masih kalah sama Yaris karena perbandingan gigi Yaris lebih rapat & Yaris menang di putaran bawah sampe menengah, diatas 5000rpm Yaris udah rada kehabisan nafas, kalo Swift masih laju.
Untuk kestabilan suspensi, dalam kondisi standar, saya pegang Swift, enak banget buat nikung kenceng, palagi joknya lebih keras & lebih 'mengapit' badan, kalo Yaris emang lebih nyaman, ga brani dibuat nikung seekstim Swift. Tapi punya saya udah saya pendekin, jarak ban sama fender tinggal 2 jari, skarang boleh diadu nikung kenceng, Yarisku udah ga limbung lagi! Tapi masih sementara tu pake per bekas Accord Cielo. Lagi nabung buat beli per TRD karena nyatanya di media katanya Yaris J TRD Sportivo (pake suspension kit TRD) bisa lebih stabil nikungnya waktu di tes.
Besok kayaknya Swiftnya ni mau dapet treatement pemendekan kaki-kaki, wuih, bisa lebih stabil lagi tu kalo nikung...
Tapi kalo overall, saya pegang Yaris. Kombinasi akselerasi, kenyamanan, kepraktisan, harga, kualitas, paling oke.

Betul utk beda 11hp tidak teralalu besar ke akselerasi utk m/t, apalagi ukuran roda jazz diperbesar, 16" di RS, sbg acuan; akselerasi yaris sedan (vios) di Popularmechanics 0-60mph (96kmh) = 8.5sec, beda sedikit dari Fit RS.
Namun, ratio a/t yg ditambah rapat 1 gear menjadi "normal" 5speed ratio (mirip jumlah ratio-gearing pada hampir semua mobil manual juga), harusnya cukup signifikan utk versi a/t.

Sempit bgt...n jendela kecil. Kl duduk di blkg berasa 'terkungkung' bgt...kl yg claustrophobia (phobia ruang sempit) pasti ga bakal nyaman. Yaris n new jazz seimbang...tp bagasi gedean jazz.

yup beda 255mm itu lah buat bagasinya (size & arrangement space LXR deket ke aerio), tp kl ga salah bagasi jazz sekitar 380liter, blm tau LXR berapa.
LXR ga bs flatdeck krn masih ada bagian yg menonjol dari kolong; tangki bensin.
klo di jazz dudukannya juga ikut masuk/merendah ke lantai, jadi sandarannya klo dilipat jadi ikut "amblas"/rendah sama dgn lantai bagasi.

kan "flatdeck" di GL itu tinggi floornya jadi mirip flatdeck (pickup) beneran; krn sandaran row-2 berada yg di atas tangki bensin itu masih cukup tinggi.
GL mirip aerio/yaris, bisa rata dgn lantai bagasi, tapi lantai/pembatas bagasi nya ditinggikan dari batas ban serep, ditambahkan rak2 barang.
Gatau knp LXR ga dibikin spt GL/aerio/yaris, walaupun tinggi, kalo "flatdeck" masih lumayan buat barang besar.

Di Amrik Yaris itu emang hatch dua pintu, baru Yaris sedan (Vios) 4 pintu.
Soal pengetesan media lokal, kayaknya emang sah2 aja deh. Parameter pengetesan bisa aja sama dengan versi internasional, tapi kondisi geografi gak bisa diubah. Udara yang panas, kelembapan yang tinggi, kualitas bahan bakar yang berbeda semuanya mempengaruhi hasil pengujian.
Sebagai contoh, artikel yang ditulis motortrend itu di amrik, tanggal komentar pembaca pertama itu tanggal 24 oktober, yang berarti diitung kasar mobil diuji satu bulan sebelumnya, yaitu september akhir. Dilihat secara musiman, berarti disana sedang musim gugur, dan rata2 suhu musim gugur di amrik sekitar 14 derajat celcius. Kualitas bensin gw gak tau deh... Tapi secara Honda Accord di amrik rekomendasinya regular, dan di Indonesia rekomendasinya pertamax plus, jadi kemungkinan bensin mereka kualitasnya lebih baik.
Hasil pengujiannya? Gak heran akselerasi mobil2 lebih baik yang diuji di amrik, terutama yang diuji quartal 3 & 4. Udara lebih dingin, volume oksigen per kubik lebih padat dibanding udara panas, jadinya pembakaran lebih sempurna ditambah kualitas bensin prima.
Ngomong2 soal kapasitas bagasi... Laporan nih SX4, sewot banget gw... Masa taro koper ukuran gede 1 ama sedang 1 gak muat? Gak praktis banget. Gara2 kemakan ama lorong gardan 4WD, ruang bagasi jadi korban deh. Dulu gw ngeledek bagasi Yaris kecil dibanding Jazz atau Livina XR, tapi masih ada aja yang lebih sempit lagi.

Gw juga heran kenapa bagasi SX4 bisa sempit, dan pakai ban serep space saver. Dilihat dari wheelbase sama ama Jazz baru, tapi lebih sempit bagasinya. Terus gw penasaran, waktu liat kolong SX4 di bengkel, kaget juga ada rongga gede buat jalur gardan dan bonggol kosong buat rumah differential di suspensi belakang. Jadi ruang bagasi kemakan buat tempat gardan dan segala macemnya.

Gw juga heran kenapa bagasi SX4 bisa sempit, dan pakai ban serep space saver. Dilihat dari wheelbase sama ama Jazz baru, tapi lebih sempit bagasinya. Terus gw penasaran, waktu liat kolong SX4 di bengkel, kaget juga ada rongga gede buat jalur gardan dan bonggol kosong buat rumah differential di suspensi belakang. Jadi ruang bagasi kemakan buat tempat gardan dan segala macemnya.
