review singkat mumun kotak gen1:

interior
seperti yg sdh sering d ceritakan, benar adanya interior sangat lega dibandingkan exteriornya yg terlihat super mini...................kompensasi dr bentuk boxy nya nih, bahkan baenol pun rasanya malah lbh sempit. :e-think:
Driving position n comfortness mobil ini bener2 kurang utk sy, terutama ga adanya footrest yg bikin kaki n pingang kiri cepet pegel utk perjalanan d atas 2 jam. View luar bener2 tercakup dg baik, ampir ga ada blindspot.

mesin n kaki2
entah karena sy blom terbiasa dg kendaran ber-cc mini ato apa, tp rasanya kok tarikan nya lemod amad yah? :e-wall: :e-wall: :e-wall: :e-wall: udah gtu gear ratio jg pendek2.............lengkap udah. sampe saat ini di tol speed tertinggi yg berhasil diraih adalah 120kpj, itu pun susahnya minta ampun.......................ga tega lbh dr segitu, masalahnya mesin kaya udh kepayahan.
utk kaki2, walopun shock/pernya lembut, tp kok bantingan nya ga enak bgt yah??apa lg klo nginjek pembatas jalan yg model mata kucing nongol2 gtu..................sebelumnya sempet cek manual sendiri, keliatannya shock dlm kondisi ok :ungg: :ungg:

PR yg blom sempet dikerjain: AC, P/S, wiring system sama kaki2 nih keliatannya

ane heran lho... koq dikasih nama panther ya isuzu yang lemot itu?? padahal kan panther itu identik dengan lincah dan cepat...

Krn mesin kecil beban AC sangat terasa, sy akalin puli AC yg di mesin diganti yg agak kecil tapi bengkel yg bikin harus bagus krn klo nggak puli gak bisa balance putarannya. Masalah dinamo ampere klo masih normal gak ada problem, masalah listrik yg sering muncul justru dari accu. Krn posisi accu persis dibelakang fan radiator jadi udara panas langsung menerpa accu. Bikin umur dan kinerja accu gak maksimal, hampir semua boil yg posisi accu dibelakang fan radiator umur accu gak bisa optimal/pendek. Bisa diakali dgn dibuatkan plat pelindung accu dari aluminium. Jadi udara panas radiator gak langsung menerpa accu.

hmmm, perasaan aki letaknya ga dibelakang fan radiator dech oom, seinget saya letak aki ada di kiri sejajar sama penumpang depan :e-think: apa sy lalah inget yah?? tar deh diliat lagi.
soal puli, yg dikecilin itu yg mana oom? apa yg dikompresor ac nya??
nah terus kalo puli nya ada yg ukurannya diluar standar, belt2 nya gmana oom? ukurannya jadi robah khan? mohon pencerahan lbh lanjut :thanks:

Betul...accu disebelah kiri persis depan penumpang depan. Tapi posisi radiator juga di separo gril depan sebelah kiri jadi gak persis di tengah. Itulah keistimewaan Karimun kotak klo nerjang banjir. Lobang gril cuman separo, yg kanan depan mesin buntu/gambar aja. Jadi klo kena banjir air muncrat ke kabin mesin gak langsung kena mesin, tapi jeleknya posisi accu persis kena terpaan angin radiator. Parahnya krn temp mesin karimun diset tinggi buat gerakin extra fan otomatis angin dari radiator cenderung lebih hhoooott..... :frm_bang_head: :frm_bang_head:

Soal puli yg dikecilin yg di mesin (puli as kruk) bukan yg di kompresor tapi puli ke belt AC, klo diameter puli yg ke dinamo ampere tetep, trus pilihan belt banyak dipasaran tinggal cocokin yg mana tinggal stel kekencangan belt aja. Mobil yg ada keluhan sentakan AC waktu dihidupin bisa berkurang dg cara ini. Klo efek dinginnya AC gak berubah, start awal aja seduikit lama dinginnya tapi gak terasa bedanya...

ooo ic ic, jd yg dikecilin puli kruk as nya, sy belom pernah liat si puli ini, dia itu modelnya yg ada karet nya jg bukan oom?kayak yg dipake mobil2 lain? trus saat modifnya itu pure bikin dr baru ato modif dr yg sdh ada/puli mobil lain?
lalu efek negatif dr ngecilin puli ini apa ya?logikanya khan ini dilakukan biar putaran belt jd lambat khan?

oiya satu lg, bsa sharing bengkel p/s utk karimun oom? apa bengkel2 p/s umumnya bsa handle system p/s karimun yg udh elektrik?
soale rada bermasalah nih, si p/s suka mati2 bikin repot klo lagi parkir :mrgreen:

modif ganti driver pulley AC di crank shaft dengan yg lbh kecil tujuannya untuk mengurangi beban yg diterima oleh mesin (prinsip roda gigi rantai di motor/sepeda), efek positifnya saat AC aktif hentakan yg terasa berkurang, lalu performa mesin juga sedikit membaik krn beban rotasinya sedikit berkurang. Efek negatifnya tentu putaran kompresor AC jd lbh lambat dr kondisi semula sehingga sistem AC jd lbh lambat untuk dingin. Makanya ukuran puli pengganti ini gak sembarangan, coba aja mampir di Karimun Club untuk konsul ukuran puli yg cocok untuk penggantinya, modif ganti puli udah hal lumrah di komunitas itu :D

Hanya sekedar sharing, untuk mobil dengan kapasitas mesin yg hanya 970 cc penggunaan AC memang sangat memberatkan mesin tetapi hal ini bisa diminimalisir/disiasati dengan penggunaan pulley aftermarket dengan dimensi dan berat lebih kecil dari bawaan karimun dan telah dicoba oleh puluhan bahkan ratusan karimun tanpa masalah (http://www.kaskus.us/showthread.php?t=6693164)

Untuk tenaga yg hanya 55 HP (mobil 100% baru > klaim ATPM) dan akan berkurang sejalan dengan umur kendaraan memang nggak bisa terlalu berharap banyak, untuk mensiasatinya perlu adanya tambahan part2 agar bisa mengembalikan tenaga mobil yg tentunya memang telah terbukti kehandalannya seperti : (diurut berdasarkan skala prioritas)
1. Upgrade exhaust system, rekomendasi Kota Mas Knalpot

3. Upgrade pengapian dengan penggunaan koil aftermarket (Jacobs Ultra Coil, Mallory promaster, MSD Blaster Vibration, dll) , kabel busi aftermarket (MSD) dan busi platinum/iridium (NGK BPR6EGP/BPR6EIX)

Dengan upgrade ketiga hal tersebut include pulley kruk as aftermarket (dgn catatan kondisi mesin dan kaki2 sehat), sepertinya pendapat masbro tentang tenaga karimun kotak akan berubah total

iya neh oom, sy juga sedikit ngikutin tret karimun di forum tetangga, dan emang disitu jg nyaranin utk ganti puli agar tenaga mesin sedikit terkoreksi.
tapi berhubung yg pake ade saya, dan kebeneran dia jg males kaya nya ganti2 gitu, maka belum kesampaian. Mohon maaf klo review nya ga adil heheheh, abis di rumah perbandingan nya cuma sama baenol tua aja hehehe :big_peace:
