Power (HP) itu dihitung dengan formula (RPM x Torque)/5252
Torque dalam lb.ft

5252 adalah konstanta.

jadi ada 2 yang menyebabkan power naik. pertama meninggikan RPM, ke dua menaikkan Torque. nah kalo ternyata torque di RPM tinggi tidak mencukupi untuk menambah akselerasi, top speed nya mentok.

seperti yang di bahas sebelumnya, bahwa mesin sudah "tidak mampu" untuk naik hingga 7000RPM.. makanya CityZ om DOHC mentok di 200kpj yang secara teoritis bisa hingga 260kpj.. karena mungkin di 200kpj (katakan lah di 5000RPM), torque sudah tidak mampu untuk menaikkan putaran mesin. mungkin karena gear ratio terlalu halus.

ini yang terjadi pada Corvette III, dimana top speed dihasilkan di gear 5, bukan gear 6. karena torque di gear 6 sudah tidak mampu untuk menarik kendaraan lebih kencang.. cmiiw..
betul...begitulah rumusnya...dan konsep pengertiannya selalu:
Torsi = Dicapai (nyata) --> Torque is measured
Tenaga = Dihitung --> Power is calculated

rumus diatas, umumnya berlaku untuk motor listrik, sehingga kurva pergerakan power dan torsi (powerband)nya linear alias sinkron (apalagi pergerakan rumus diatas di"kunci" dengan konstanta..., jadi kalo digambarkan dengan grafik powerband, garisnya akan kelihatan seiring...

namun...ada anomali dikit yang sampe sekarang, jujur saja saya belum tahu penyebabnya....mohon dicerahkan dengan oleh yang lain... :D

tapi, untuk motor bakar (internal combustion) alias mesin otomotif, hal ini kadang tidak berlaku, pergerakan angka power+torsi kurva-nya sering ga linear...., makanya banyak bermunculan tuner/modifikator untuk memperbaiki/memperlebar powerband ini, cmiiw juga :D

makanya sering saya perhatikan gambar graphis powerband hasil orang ngukur pakai dynamometer (dyno-test), dimana pergerakan kurva tenaga-torsi nya terlihat ga sinkron...

tapi memang betul meneer, tenaga (power) memang didapat dari torsi (torque)

tambahan dikit meneer, rumus diatas jika kita pakai sistem imperial (HP/Lb-Ft)

kalau pakai sistem metrik, ada perubahan dikit:

Power [Kw] = (RPM x Torque[Nm])/9549

tentang linear antara power dan torque, kita tunggu pakarnya saja... ane gelep dah kalo gak linear..
wong yang linear aja masih lieur... :big_peace:

sedan2 jadul emang lari nya pada mengerikan om... sbut aja greco, cityZ, lancer dan gan, CB3... legenda small sedan smua tuh...

oh iya, lantis.. tapi itu kan bukan kategori small sedan lagi om, 1800cc itu... btw dari segi teknologi dan harga sehh menggiurkan banget tuh...40an jt aja uda dapet...

cityZ ndak jadul amat sih....agak muda umurnya...tapi "roh kenceng" nya masih sama dengan sedan jadul yg lain..

ane jawab yah: minimal bodi mobil peyot dan maksimalnya Muka si supir bisa babak belur...
lah wong nyetir di tol rpmnya rendah, terus ybs. mendahului kendaraan lain pake rpm rendah pula.....

wah nggak juga ahh

truk di tol itu jalur 1-3 pada salip-salipan di RPM rendah...soalnya mesin diesel 3000rpm juga udah redline :ngacir:
coba bayangin:
jalur 1 isinya truk kec 40km/jam
jalur 2 isinya truk menyalip dengan kec 50km/jam
jalur 3 isinya truk menyalip dengan kec 60km/jam
masih aman tuh

ini imbang dengan astina dan lancer yang 1.8L 140HP juga...
mobil sekarang untuk 140HP?? kudu 2.0L.... :big_weee:

di ruas cipularang saya malah lbh sering liat jazz GD vtec yang ngacir..... :e-think:

tapi pernah sekali waktu disitu ngeliat golf diuber2 focus (arah ke jakarta jalan menurun)....dr jauh saya liat ditikungan mereka berdua nampaknya ndak ada yg ngerem (keliatan dr lampu rem blkgnya gak ada yg idup)....bener2 pendekar tikungan semua....waktu itu saya di kec 140...entah mereka lari berapa... :e-think:
