Mesin ini awalnya adalah hasil pengembangan Mitsubishi dan Mercedes (Daimler Chrysler), dulunya dibuat di MDC Power Gmbh - Germany dan sekarang dibuat juga di pabrik SHENYANG AEROSPACE MITSUBISHI - China

Terlihat di sini mekanisme valve train menggunakan solid tappet, maka jika sampai hari ini masih sama, utk pelumas disarankan API SL atau SN - 5W30

prediksi ane horsepower nya di kisaran 109-110hp. Dari yang asli nya 120ps, pasti di detune dikit buat nyesuain bensin di indonesia.

Soal mesin buat mpv, yg dateng ke acara kemarin kan sempat lihat tuh tulisan dan gambar di bawah mobil yang ada di setiap sisi, nah salah satunya di bagian depan ada foto mesinnya, bagi yg ngerti mesin taulah mesin yg dipakai buat MPV barunya

kalo bener pake 4A91, setelah ane liat2 service manualnya....
mesinnya kurang menarik.

single Continuous VVT.... intake only. sementara lawannya udah pake Dual VVT-i
konfigurasi exhaust 4-1... kecekek di catalyst. solusi, bikin knalpot custom 4-2-1.
EGR... hmm... palingan disini itu benda ditiadakan dari pabrik.

feature n spec-wise, mesin ini agak mirip K14B...

akankah low torque-nya payah kayak Ertiga?
jika iya, maka manual is the tranny to go. forget that antiquated 4AT.

ane nyari dyno sheetnya blom nemu.

apakah 4A915 ini dual VVT ?

mesin juga buatan SAME, krn pengguna 4A9 series ini di China sgt besar

Mivecnya seri 3A9 dan 4A9 sie single camphasing aja haha

Sayangny mitsu, kurang kreatif dlm ngasih nama. Mau dia single atau dual camphasing, atau malah jenis cam switching atau mix of both, semuanya di namain mivec

Jd krng jelas.

utk lari kenceng ga selalu ngandelin faktor tenaga aja sih. 100hp utk mobil keluarga udah lmyn lah... masa mau diajak lari 200km/jam sih? paling dibuat mentok 180km/jam kyk miras

kalo people mover car biasa mapping mesin mengutamakan Torsi yg lebih gemuk di RPM rendah

juga pertimbangan BBM RON rendah

kalo ngutamain torsi, kenapa ngga pake exhaust 4-2-1 ya?

Up.. setelah test drive yang matik terasa lemot di putaran bawah nih.. lebih enakan duo kaleng apanja.. apakah karakter lemot ini bisa sembuh hanya dengan Reset Ecu saja tanpa modifikasi fisik ?
Apa ada solusi yang lain ?

Xpander bisa di remap ecu nya? Ada yg punya infonya? Oli yang cocok 5w30 yah yah om turbo? Tq b4.

coba diliat rasio gigi nya

biasanya 4 AT tu rasio gigi panjang2 alhasil kalo torsi pas2-an ya tarikan awalnya gitu deh

kecuali pabrikan set FG nya jauh rasio-nya, tapi top speed jadi memble dan lari 100 RPM tinggi
