Trit ini bisa dibuat berseri tanpa harus ditulis oleh 1 kontributor, jadi jika rekan2 ada ulasan lengkap mengenai mobil / mesin yg sgt potensial utk di modif, silakan bikin trit utk part 2 nya dst

Part 1 dimulai dengan D4 D, baik D4 D standard maupun 2 KD-VNT

Disain dasar mesin 2KD-FTV dibuat oleh Toyota Industry, yang dimana Toyota Industry membuat berbagai mesin utk kendaraan2 Toyota dan juga mesin2 Textil spt weaving machines dan Spinning machines

Debut 2KD-FTV di Indonesia :

2KD-FTV memulai debut seiring kemunculan Kijang Innova pertama kali di tahun 2004

Saat itu banyak yg skeptis tentang mesin Diesel Innova ini, sehingga penjualan Innova Diesel pada saat saat awal keluar hanya sekitar 10% dari total penjualan Kijang Innova. Barulah sekitar tahun 2007 masyarakat mulai banyak yang aware tentang benefit & potensi mesin 2KD-FTV ini

Saat itupun perangkat aftermarket utk 2KD-FTV masih sangat sedikit, Standard Adi Knalpot sebagai pencetus pertama Down Pipe utk 2KD-FTV mulai produksi sekitar tahun 2005

Aplikasi Piggyback-pun di tahun 2006 masih dengan Dastek C, barulah setelah tahun 2007 para Dastek tuner mengimplememntasikan Dastek Q

Di tahun 2008, aplikasi Dastek Q pada Innova D4 D rata2 menghasilkan tenaga sekitar 125 - 130 an Hp, saat itu belum ada Piggyback injection pulse spt Extender.

Tidak lama kemudian HKS merilis F Con D yang merupakan piggyback pulse injection pertama utk KD-FTV engine.

Per tahun 2015 ini, mesin 2 dan 1KD-FTV sudah menjadi salah 1 mesin yang sangat banyak pilihan komponen aftermarket peningkat tenaga

Aftermarket parts yang tersedia utk mesin :
- Hi Perf Camshaft

Aftermarket parts yang tersedia utk Turbocharger :
- IHI RHF4
- Warner Ishi
- IHI RHF 5 (ada bbrp yg pakai)
- Turbo Ball Bearing custom dari ABS Motorsport (latest development)

Aftermarket parts yang tersedia utk sistem injeksi :
- Nozzle 8 hole dengan DLC (Diamond Like Coating)
- SCV valve High Perf
- 3 rotor pump (ada bbrp orang yg implementasi)

Aftermarket parts yang tersedia utk exhaust system :
- Downpipe aneka merek
- Muffler free flow aneka merek
- Tail pipe 2,5"
- Header Turbo / manifold Turbo aneka merek

Aftermarket parts yang tersedia utk Transmisi otomatis :

Saya gak paham dunia tuning mesin 1NZ-FE, kalau ada data lengkap monggo dibuat trit part 2 utk mesin 1NZ-FE, serba serbi mesin ini, parts2 tuning yg available ada apa aja serta hasil Dynotest-nya

fun fact : matic yg dipake innova d4d ini spec sama dengan yang dipake supra, dan di jepang dengan kondisi sekarang, kuat sampai dengan 550 whp, bahkan ternyata matic ini bisa dimodif menggunakan daleman titanium, dan rekor supra menggunakan matic yg telah dimodif ini di ajang 402 m adalah sekitar 8 detik

kalo modif ringan hanya utk dapetin 400nm, dan 160-180hp apa aja yg diperlukan om?

Tahapan modif D4 D :

Stage 1 = BLT / Basic Light Tuning :
- Downpipe
- Tutup EGR
- Ground & Superground cables
- Free flow air filter
- Setel motor positioner TPS

Juga penting utk optimalisiasi teknik nyetir mobil Diesel, dimana gas diurut / dipompa dikit saat akselerasi


Stage 2 =
- Piggyback
- Free flow exhaust / muffler / tail pipe 2,5"
- Arahkan saluran masuk air filter box ke balik grill dengan flexible pipe PVC

Supporting device :
- Fuel Cooler
- ATF cooler (sangat disarankan bila anda sering ke luar kota / naik gunung / narik beban)

Utk stage 2 ini udah masuk level 165 / 170 Hp jika dengan Dastek set lengkap, dan dengan teknik mengemudi yg benar, maka performa di jalan sih udah lebih dari cukup utk kebutuhan sehari2


Stage 3 =
- IHI RHF 4 dan Hi Perf Camshaft (sebaiknya ini tak terpisahkan, utk mengurangi lag)
- Front Mount Intercooler (pilih yg kecil aja)

Supporting device :
- TransGo SK 340


Sampai stage 3 ini jika teknik mengemudi Diesel-nya optimal, buat sehari2 udah ganas.......
