Braking and handling udah secure, udah saya upgrade, brembo 6pot/4pot, coilovers ST Suspension (by KW GmbH Germany), Cusco full kit chassis strengthening, and many more yg details on my build are available di forum sebelah.
Handling and braking aspects are always yg pertama saya mods sebelum ke engine tuning buat mobil apa aja yg saya pake sekarang atau yg dulu pernah pakai.

The car is my daily drive (yg extreme lagi rencana bangun di mobil beda), internals sekalian jalan tergantung nanti mau seberapa gain, apa NA atau Force induction, etc.

Agreed. Force induction paling bagus from cost to power gain ratio, dari discussions diatas ini masuk consideration jg and a decision will be made when all information are gathered successfully, whether going NA or force induction.

suspensi pke coilover, rem 6pot4pot, chassis strengthening ->ini modif yg sdh dilakukan

Tujuannya masih agak samar.... mmg ada bilang 'yg extreme di mobil beda' ; tp bwt orang kyk sy klo udh gnti internal, apalagi smpe gnti blok, overbore etc itu udh extreme modifnya..

trus target hp torsi (gain) nti aja ngikutin... lha kan susah. Modif mesin itu parameter utamanya ya gain itu. Sama budget constraint. Lha klo itu g ada smua mw nyaranin gmn coba... kan jd kyk nanya ke gebetan... 'km mw apa?' 'Mau bahagia' 'bahagia gmn? 'Pokoknya bahagia'

Okay, valid points, saya coba jawab and dissect one by one ya, moga2 lebih clear:
1. Engine output saya mau ke >265hp om crank after tuning which means sama seperti 3GRFSE specs, and buat weekly morning runs lebih bisa keep up dengan yg lain lebih baik lagi. Sebenernya dengan remap bisa dapet ke >280hp on crank iirc setelah naik ke 3.0L
2. 6pot/4pot brakes: kenapa saya ganti ke yg ini? Simply karena stock brakes menurut saya sangat kurang mendukung buat highspeed braking.
3. ST coilover: menurut saya kalau mau beli coilover dan budget ada, beli yg baik. Of course Perrin, öhlins, KW pasti jauh lebih baik tapi itu di luar budget saya
4. Chassis stiffening: stock mark x chassis rigidity nya kurang gigit menurut selera saya. Tapi ya, toleransi tiap orang beda beda..

Apa masi enak buat dipake harian? Bole test duduk after saya pulang ke indonesia lagi in early January 2018. Apakah lebih stiff vs. oem? Dengan mods saya, of course, tapi sekali lagi, bole saya buktikan dengan doge test ride nanti early January setelah saya balik indonesia lagi..

Back to aim: as mentioned in point #1 above, “1. Engine output saya mau ke >265hp om crank after tuning which means sama seperti 3GRFSE specs, and buat weekly morning runs lebih bisa keep up dengan yg lain lebih baik lagi. Klo targetnya segitu yaa...

Klo msh pke mesin asli kyknya hrs agak ekstrim modifnya... (bs bore stroke up dll kyk ide om: mmg agak ruwet... hrs cr parts, bengkel yg bs ngerjain, mungkin trial error, dll
ato klo mw agak simpel (g pke overbore overstroke) ya pke turbo sm piston gnti low compression biar bs boost gede (klo ada yg bikin), oya parts lain jg hrs dicek... apa msh bs pke std ato hrs gnti)
Tp klo pke turbo itu biasanya agak peaky mesinnya (tp max powernya lbh gede dr SC)... klo mw yg agak linear ya supercharger..

Klo mw hati tenang ya beli mesin 3GR.. trus tinggal mikiri ecunya gmn...

Kebetulan last night saya wechat call dengan salah satu colleagues saya and he said similar things as you mentioned, right afterwards langsung cari info internal 4GRFSE vs. 3GRFSE. I’m back to the study 📖 and reseach stage now and will inform you on the updates. Sharing is caring :frm_tumbleft:
As for now, seems saya leaning ke naekin cc but kita lihat gimana cost nya karena after further study and researches saya will have a detail information on the internal components, such as, piston heads, crankshaft, etc

Err.. variable turbo di bensin masi sangat jarang kayaknya om.. kalopun ada mgkin harganya bakalan mahal.. Banget.

Tp balik lg yg spt om bilang sndiri ruang mesinnya udh padet banget, kayaknya twin turbo lebih masuk akal berarti ga pusing ngakalin header merge nya,

Tp.. barusan baca mobil ini utk daily drive.. kalo saya, preferensi saya lho, utk daily kayaknya n/a is the best sih.. Turbo mgkin peak nya jauh lebih tinggi, tp lag nya itu menyebalkan,, :mrgreen:
Kalo soal bengkel, sebener preference masing2 sih om trgantung cocok2an om sama si empunya bengkel imho, semua pasti ada plus minus nya..
Dulu wktu main mesin saya sndiri seringnya ke arrow motorsport di daerah tebet, cmn kayaknya skrg bgkel nya dah ga terbuka umum deh..

Iya after long discussions over wechat call last night with one of my friends, sepertian better go with NA for simplicity-sake and for the time being. Turbo bisa aja tapi karena sama sekali belum ada yg pernah ngejalanin so pasti musti lewatin numerous trial and errors yg ahirannya lebih banyak di shop instead of di jalanan di bejek :mrgreen:

Nanti kl mau force induction lagi, turbo or supercharger, better cari used evo or used civic fd..

Nah ini sepertian yg di signature oom, you should drive a car that you really like.. karena worthy to spend or not beda2 tiap org.. in short, kacamata org beda2.. :frm_salut:

Lexus is300 (asean specs) xe2 alias 2nd gen alias gse chassis code, juga okay, cuman cari yg mulus aja.. kapan hari saya ketemu but sama sekali ga mulus.. and yg mulus ga mau dilepas, fair enough karena enak dipake nya :e-pray:

Nah compare to benzo ya again, selera and both are good. there is something about German made cars that separate them from the Japanse made cars..

Saya beli mark x karena it is a good platform buat dimaenin ini bakalan jadi the next altezza.. and di japan udah mulai.. plus ini mobil jarang banget di indo..
