[ask] overheat dikala macet (4JA1 engine)

Halo om,

Saya pengguna mobil panther, sekarang ini lagi ada masalah, yaitu suka overheat dikala macet, biasanya overheat mulai kalo udah stuck 1 jam an, suhu mesin langsung naik (walau ga sampe redline), tapi kalo udah dibawa jalan normal lagi.

Perbaikan yg sudah dilakukan:
* ganti thermostat
* service radiator
* ganti visco fan

Tapi masalah masi belum selesai, kira2 kenapa yah om? Kata temen kemungkinan kena waterpump nya

Sudah cek/ganti radiator cap?

banyak masalah juga nih om , biasanya kalau begitu harus dicek semuanya
- aliran air di system mampat
- radiator udah jenuh , maksud gue materialnya udah lemah buang hawa coba ganti baru
- ada kebocoran paking silinder head
- tutup radiator udah jenuh
- skring temp udah jenuh/sensor panas udah jenuh
Performa mesin berlipat ganda setiap 30 tahun

Wkwkwkwk, kebetulan ajah pas niat mo nanya lagi buka forum ini :v

Untuk aliran air di radiator sih, saya liat mengalir ok, dan kata tukang radiator, radiator nya masih bagus. Tutup radiator juga baru ganti om, pake yg 1.1bar.

Kalau paking silinder head udah jenuh kayak gimana yak?

Dan kalau waterpump error atau udah minta ganti tanda2 nya gimana yak?

Kalo dari sektor pendingin sih yg belum di cek emang tinggal waterpump ajah xixixi

Om TS... tutup radiator asli (standard) brp bar?
Soalnya gini... naikin tekanan itu berarti naikin titik didih fluida (cth: air biasa mendidih di 100deg celcius pd tekanan 1 bar ; klo tekanan gnti ke 1.1 bar, titik didihnya (fase fluida berubah dr cair ke uap) bukan 100deg celcius lg... bs 110 [sorry, aku g smpet nyariin approx valuenya])
Aku kuatir... itu engine overheat krn itu...
Hrsnya cairan udh msk ke expansion bottle, tp malah msh muter di dlem mesin... mungkin itu bikin temp reading tinggi...

Water pump coba di cek juga, mungkin bilahnya sudah habis kena korosi

Ganti radiator om. Saya dulu ngalamin hal yg sama selama 5th di escudo 1.6 . Radiator akhirnya saya ganti krn tabung atasnya retak. Dapet brg kw2 krn yg kw1 lagi kosong. Eh, sejak itu gak pernah overheat lagi. Dapet bonus jarum temp suka turun sedikit pas jalan, sesuatu yg tdk pernah terjadi waktu masih pake radiator yg ori. :mky_08:

Udah ketahuan tuh penyebabnya : TUTUP RADIATOR. bawaannya panther 0.9 bar, bukan 1.1.
seperti penjelasan om DOGE, penggantian tutup radiator tersebut menaikkan titik didih cairan radiator
mesin sudah berumur, balikin standart aja.

tutup radiator bawaan kucing turbo kayaknya 1.1 om, soalnya dari semenjak pake udah 1.1, dan sebelum nya gak pernah ada masalah overheat walopun idle ber jam jam. cuma baru2 ini ajah overheat nya.

waktu itu sih udah servis radiator om, kata tukang radiator, radiator nya sih masih oke

Mungkin coba juga thermostatnya om..
Pernah di hyundai accent sy semua di cek trnyata di thermostat karena pas panas kan thermostatnya ke buka tp nutup terus alhasil ga ada yg muter..

overheat itu bisa terjadi pada mobil apapun. Dan udah jadi penyakit bawaan mobil2 tua yg kurang bagus system coolingnya.

coba ane tebak..., pasti pakai air kran ya bro utk coolantnya. Kalo iya , pasti udah banyak kerak di radiator , di pipa2 aluminium , engine jacket...

Radiator itu gak bisa diservis...apalagi digosok2 dalemannya..gak lama pasti akan bocor atau mampet lagi.

saran saya.
ganti radiator yg baru biar hati adem ayem.

wajib coolant. Jangan percaya kata tukang radiator coolant membuat rusak..itu penipuan.

cek kipas, bisa jadi lemah putarannya..kalau ac nyala , temperatur turun , ya pantas karena kipasnya 2 nyala.
pertanda kipas mesin rusak atau putrannya lemah.

saran ganti yg baru.kalau ganti carbon percuma, nanti rusak lagi max 1 bulan.

waterpump korosif , sekorosif2nya bilah waterpump , jarang mengakibatkan overheat....biasanya yg kalah duluan sealnya...shg air bocor....saran ganti aja...

termostat korosif...ganti karena mengganggu aliran.

kalo semua udh dilakukan tetap panas, masalahnya ada di packing atau silinder head....ada kebocoran...

Servis radiator kan cuma membuang deposit kerak yg menghambat jalannya air/coolant di tabung kapiler radiator, tetapi tidak bisa membuang deposit kerak yg sdh lama NEMPEL di dinding bagian dalam tabung kapiler. Ini yg membuat panasnya coolant tidak bisa dibuang ketika mengalir di dalam tabung kapiler.
