Like many JNCs, when it debuted the X70 Cressida was an utterly nondescript family hauler. The ur-Avalon’s boxy lines were dismissed as typical Toyota conservative styling and it sat completely unrecognized for decades. Now we’re in a Cressida renaissance, and it’s the darling of tuners, VIPers and drifters alike. Somehow, its shape even seems to have aged better than that of its contemporaries, such as the Audi 5000, Volvo 760 and E28 BMW.

discbrake hanya depan, belakang masih drum. dan carby memang twin SU tapi merk hitachi.
seinget saya waktu lihat di stnk tertera tahun pembuatan 1976.

artinya udah diganti sama punya 160j fastback ...

hitachi bikin under license ... dulu pas indokaya tutup n cari parts di senen susah ya lari ke javamotors krn byk substitusi nya dg carby MG ... (all brit cars workshoped JM that era)

alm.ayah sy punya dr brandnew (awalnya mobil dinas dia ... plaat merah depkes ...mobilnya warna merah n baru sy jual awal milenium)

jaman dulu tahun pembuatan bisa maju bisa mundur ... ada istilah acc factuur spy tax lbh murah ...kan dulu importduty yg bayar buyer bukan atpm ... holden (udatin) byk bgitu ... subaru (insan apollo) apalagi krn yg punya fabriek penjahat

w116 alm.ayah aslinya thn 1974 di mundur jadi thn 1970 ... mirafiori hrsnya thn 81 jadi 77

faktor lain yg bisa bikin tahun di stnk mundur (toleransi bisa sampai 3thn tergantung bill of lading saat masuk sbg bulk item) ... indokaya dulu CKD kit masuk setahun sblm produksi ... krn makin lama barang mengendap di (istilah beacukai) entryport (nisdat di matraman skrg toko gramedia) ... makin besar diskon ... blm ada istilah barang tak bertuan ... per tahun di itung susut 10%

pengalaman melek mobil itu awal 90 dan mobil yg dipunyain babeh saat itu ada satu yaitu toyota hiace (kalau g salah produksi tahun 80 awal). body gede banget cukup buat angkut keluarga besar (dgn isi 9 dewasa dan beberapa piyik di dalam). mesin diesel dan steering by power, suka mogok kalau nanjak ke daerah Sarangan. g dipiara lama karena bikin repot(dalam sebulan bisa 10 hari babeh ngolong buat benerin mobil ini) dan akhirnya dituker sama sujuki keri 2 buah buat usaha angkot.
kalau civic wonder itu masuk tahun berapa ya? masa kecil pernah liat punya eyang sebelum dijual terlihat gagah tapi lupa tahun berapa karena masih piyik waktu itu

rasanya tua banget tuh mobil entah tahun berapa yah buatannya, yang pasti saya ingat waktu itu umur saya baru 2-3 tahunan

wonder 4 door 87 warna biru tua ayah saya dulu pernah punya ... trus gantinya ke civic nouva 90/91 ...

Civic wonder 4 pintu taun 84 - 85 ... mesinnya 1.300 cc.
Taun 86 - 87 jadi 1.500 cc.

Di eranya ini sempet jd mbl mimpi anak sekolahan ni.....

Di era ini, bagusan mn ya sm ford TX3 2 doors yg lampu bulet ya?

3 pintunya wonder dulu namanya civic setrikaan ... dan mesinnya tetep 1.300 cc
Pastinya enakan mobil yg lebih baru ya ...

Kalo TX3 ... terkenal mobil kencang pd jaman itu ...
Mesinnya udah injeksi kalo gak salah ...

mitsi galant sigma (a12 sedan) ckd pertama x 1979 dg harga onroad rp. 7.6juta ...CKD importing yg cukup unik

CKD kit engineless by kramayudha (krn engineless jadi saat itu cuma kena component importduty ... aturan saat itu)

engine n transmission by ISC krn ambil dr chrysler plant, lonsdale, south australia (krn engine n trx set only ... kena engine component import duty ... juga aturan saat itu)

tdk heran kramayudha sanggup jual itu dg harga sama spt corolla CKD (1979 = ke30, 1980-82 = ke40) ...th 1980 harga naik jadi rp 8juta onroad (lancer wkt itu blm ada di indo dm) lebih mahal rp.1juta dari amc jeep cj-7 CKD

Taun 81 ... saya ingat2 ... bapak saya cerita beli FJ 40 dgn harga 11 juta ... kira2 bener gak harga FJ sekitar itu ?
Yang konyol ... krn belinya di palembang (waktu itu kita tinggal di bengkulu) bapak saya minta dipasangkan audio ... trus bapak saya pulang ke hotel.
Sama dealer ... dipasangkanlah tape clarion yang bersusun dgn speaker jensen (dibikin kotaknya) dgn harga 400 ribu ...
Pusinglah mbayar tambahan buat tape itu... hehehe ...

klo gitu lawannya gallant sigma waktu itu corolla DX ya om NR ?

sebelum saya lahir bokap sempat punya FJ warna ijo muda, saya lihat di foto barengan sama anjing Boxernya

klo lancer kotak itu pertama keluar tahun berapa yah ? mertua masih simpan warna biru tua, yang masih ori catnya tinggal kap atas aja, lainnya udah spet semua ...

bisa jadi diluar jakarta sgitu krn a2000 baru ada th 1987 (th yg sama astra beli bank perkembangaan asia yg kmudian jadi bank universal ... retail loan division jadi ACC skrg ini)

ya sebentar ... 1600 cc vs 1300cc dg harga sama krn th 1980 adalah pertama x tax collection by engine capacity (sblmnya cukup by cylinder capacity)

dulu th 1980 tax class dimulai dr 0 - 1300 cc (ini yg bikin keicar mulai ilang n big i-6 juga) trus 1301 - 2000 cc dan 2001 - 3000 cc serta 3001 keatas)

th 1981 ahir ada prubahan 1301 - 2000cc jadi 1301 - 1600cc dan 1601 - 2000cc

krn itu lancer kluar 1400cc (a17 series) yg sdh dg tectyl factory std rustproof (valvoline product) ... CKD pertama yg pakai factory std rustproofing ...

th 1983 baru toyota kluarkan rustproofed CKD products dg ultrabody tagline (kation electro ... yg tetap sj bikin karatan) yg masih kalah kualiti dari mitsy's tectyl

sama kayak TS bokap sy dl jg pake GL 11tahun lamanya, trus diturunin ke saya cm betah 2 tahun hbs tu ganti yg SE nya..
itu GL bisa lama drmh mgkin krn historynya tp ya akhirnya hrs dijual krn sdh ga memungkinkan hehehe....

Pernah pakai mazda capella 626 5doors putih , mitsu lancer sl (keluaran pertama merah bata), h civic wonder 3doors 87 biru tinta + grand at 88 coklat metalik, h acc th 87 prestige hijau. Dari smua paling menyenangkan h acc prestige , power steering nya bagus bener , kalau lagi diam steer nya bisa diputar2 hanya dgn jari sangat ringan , tp kalau sdah jalan kira2 diatas 80km/h jadi berat.

daihatsu charmant mk.2 masuk indo bersamaan twin sister dia (toyota corona avante) masuk spore sbg taxi (diesel) dan masuk oz n nz market versi petrol engine

dia masuk saat pt gaya motor (daihatsu sole agent indo saat itu) masih setengah bumn (sama spt pantja motor - isuzu dan java motors yg ada saham atas nama departemen perindustrian)

1600cc toyota 4a carby engine 1983-86 dgn.onroad price rp.12juta (1983) lebih murah dari corolla ke70 dan trahir rp.14juta after discount (1986 for 1985 my ... original price rp.16juta) lebih murah drpd corolla ae80 se trim (rp.23juta)

sales output buruk yg bikin production stoppage setahun sblm seharusnya ...

sempat jadi fleet car departemen perindustrian utk echelon-3 (jaman itu state echelon cuma sampai 3 sbg yg terendah ... pns structure blm segemuk skrg yg sampai echelon-5) ... ada 50 units yg pakai plaat merah di jkt

farewell batch (sy tdk tau brp unit).dipasang blaupunkt radio cassette player london mr-21 dan rear speaker set tl-1680

itu sj bedanya
